  1. I did nothing weird, just realised that some people might read my post in a suspicious light so I tried to get that out of the way before we waste any discussion time on that. Which seems to have backfired since you guys chose to focus more on this anyway. That’s exactly what Araris said it was.:P a random poke vote on somebody that doesn’t get voted C1 a lot. The vote was cast early in the cycle so I wouldn’t read too much into it. Tentative village read on Araris and slight elim read on Striker. Also I vote bridge
  2. I doubt it. I think elim!Lum was certainly active enough to have used an action. The bare minimum you need to do as an elim in a game with no activity filter is spare like 3 seconds to skim your doc and send in a necessary order and you can do that even if you don't post in-thread at all. I'd be looking at anybody online between the start and end time of cycle 1. That includes Shane, off the top of my head. Probably others too. An elim would try to gain credibility by defending a villager before their flip. I would be suspicious enough of me to cast a vote. ...wait what am I doing If you don't think I'm suspicious for that, why the vote?:P
  3. The Navigator’s vote is going to be randomly redirected today...If I were the Navigator I’d refrain from voting today as it would certainly give away my identity in the next cycle. Yeah, the 2 sabotages are worrying. If we don’t get engineers on repair duty quick the elims have an easy win. A shame about Elandera. I realise I probably look suspicious for slightly defending her in the last hour of the cycle and then voting on an entirely new lynch candidate when I could’ve voted on Aman to save Elandera. I’m hoping you guys see that that’s TWTBAW
  4. (Apologies for double posting) Drake, because of your quickly changing stance on Elandera. This isn’t much and not affecting the lynch status at all, but I’d like to put it out there. Im not feeling super good about the Elandera lynch.
  5. I said I doubt they’d all go for birds in the first few cycles. Not that they won’t at all. Plus my understanding of how the Bird mechanic works was way off. XD Partially, but I was mostly pointing out the irony there’d be in an elim trapper with that kinda wording in the rules (along with “getting your hands dirty to solve a problem). But setting that aside, it seems similar to a coinshot role in a standard Mistborn game, so having an elim trapper would make them too powerful. I’d expect the village to have one, or that he role hasn’t been given out at all. I don’t see why you felt the need to reveal this at all.:P Just pointing out that you’ve expressed village reads for Elandera twice before voting on her, which is kinda odd, even if your vote reasoning is independent of those village reads. I’ve offered explanation for this above. ...both xD. I was thinking it goes like you just request for an Aviar and you get a random one of the 3, and if more than three people request for Avair, three people get an Avaiar each and the rest end up wasting an action. Hey, the rules were vague on this.xD
  6. Huh, you're right. Don't know why but I just assumed all you can do is go like 'hey I want an Aviar' and then you may or may not get one of the Aviar lolol
  7. Gut? The only reasonable scenarios where I see a villager sabotaging an airship part is if they know for sure that doing so will hospitalise one or more SICSS players (like if somebody working in Internal Affairs locks up a potential/confirmed elim up in the brig and a village engineer sabotages the brig, consequently hospitalising the elim), or if they feel like Sabotaging the Aviar Holder and gifting everybody useless birds. I don't see the former happening until the later cycles and even then there's only a slim chance as it requires close coordination (i.e. PMs). basically. I should really read the whole thread first instead of responding to posts as I go through it. xD What exactly do you mean why the bolded part, though? Ooo exciting. Right now we've got Aman, Lopen, and Lum all up for the lynch From the Rules (TM): "Trapper: You’ve been hired by the NITC to help their expedition." If the village doesn't have a Trapper I would be surprised, to say the least.:P I think whether the elims have a Doctor or not depends on their number, but it's a reasonable assumption to make. Of course, after the last LG I know not to let role distributions fool me.:P They can be tricky. Sabotaging it later (if need be at all) seems to be the more advantageous course of action for the elims to take. They can use the Kokerlii early on in the game for protection against scans and the Sak too for protection. The Twins they'll probably use to gain trust from the villagers, which is extremely useful in both the early and late stages of the game for the elims. 3 Aviars are up for being loaned off every cycle, and are granted randomly to the players that request for one. So the elims don't really have a guarantee of getting one, but it'll cost an action regardless. I doubt they'd all go after the birds in the first couple of cycles and risk wasting their actions. Plus, sabotaging it would give out birds to everyone randomly, two of which would be Aviars. Those could go to villagers for all they know. The saboteur does get one, but that's all.
  8. Finally. A game with rollover at a decent hour. :] 9 ship parts. Noice. I was gonna ask whether the hospital was included, but I guess it's off ship since it's not on the list. Would make sense, especially with the visitors being unable to use actions/vote and all that. Airship parts without a dependant role to it are the starboard engine, port engine, and sky crane, unless I've missed something. There are no secret roles and things (I asked in my GM PM) so it's probably safe to assume these parts serve no purpose other than targets for the elims to sabotage I think. Nothing more to say as of now.
  9. I’ll sign up. This (being an MR) probably won’t last as long as an LG would be expected to so I think I can play.
  10. I think I’ll have to drop out, sorry. Turns out I’ll be traveling in a couple of weeks, and although I’ll be active in the time leading up to that, I’ll likely won’t have any time at all for SE until I return (which will be sometime late-August). I’d rather not sign up for a game I know I’ll eventually go inactive in. :/ So much for considering singing up for both this and the MR xD Sorry again.
  11. On my phone that pic under the spoiler shows up as quite a bit vertically stretched xD I agree that it’s very artistic and symbolic. Even though I have no idea what it means. xD
  12. Oh yeah I read the whole thing. Was just wondering if there’s more to it than that lol xD Oh I always knew why you were doing it.:P Villager!Stick wouldn’t have, so that’s how I played it off. Normal elim!posts are fine, it’s just the player analysis ones that get me. They just get really boring when you know exactly what to say and you’re not trying to actually decipher anything, but you still have to go through each of their posts xD Oh no...:P Not relevant but I’m glad that I managed to maintain my little record of never being lynched as an elim Somehow I nearly always get lynched as a villager though..
  13. Ah nice. Good to now I was stressing out in the doc for no reason xD GG everyone! And thanks are due to Striker and Maill for GMing - the role distribution twist was my favourite.:P twas fun working with fellow Rebels Xino, Aman, and Snip/Coop (btw thank you SO much Coop for subbing in for Snip). Aman’s ploys were great and entertaining as always. XD And kudos to Fura for very good analysis in the dead doc! You’re always welcome What’s this Hazekiller legacy about though?:P Straw you could’ve claimed to be the hazekiller that allowed the kill on Aman to through during that day you got lynched - certainly would’ve helped your case.:P Basically, yeah. Btw this game just HAD to end just when my finals did, didn’t it xD I was looking forward to giving it more time than I had been.
  14. I will bring up the fact that you were the one that brought up the possibility of the Hazekiller being completely fabricated in the first place (and that was essentially your basis for the whole Devo lynch), so naturally I'm inclined to think that you're the hazekiller.
  15. Oof Fifth’s particularly not looking good...Though I doubt we have a Coinshot. Would’ve probably seen more kills if we did. edit: but how does it hard clear you? Soft clear, maybe, but you'd only be hard cleared if Fifth flips elim I think, which I think is not far from likely now.
  16. Wait, when did this happen? Yeah, he did. On...June 13. So...C2? I think
  17. Well from my perspective this is just a matter of who to trust here, honestly. Fifth is right in saying that Ventyl's only hard-cleared if the two of you aren't elims together, and as of now we don't really have any proof that you were RB'd at all. Although, I don't think village!Devotary would have any way of proving that even if you wanted to. Which...I suppose is kind of what makes it a good opportunity for elim!devotary to make such a move. Also do you have any reasons other than your roleblock claim to suspect Fifth of being the Hazekiller? For now, Devotary. Mostly because I already had my doubts about you after the Aman flip, as I've stated multiple times in my previous posts. Except...I'm starting to think I've been trusting-but-not-quite-trusting-but-still-eventually-trusting Fifth too much this game, so I might change my vote depending on how my thoughts progress over the next 24 hours. I really don't wanna mess this lynch up when we're close to lylo. But for now I gotta go to bed.
  18. Yeah I stand by it Well, there’s still a tineye out there (since PMs are still open) who hasn’t publicly claimed afaik. So unless I’m the tineye unless people have false claimed...
  19. Assuming you’re telling the truth, did you maybe discuss with anybody in PMs about who you planned to target last turn?
  20. Woah, didn’t expect that. And a hazekiller out of all roles... As usual I slept through rollover It’s interesting that we got two Hazekillers. I think I agree with Fifth that the elims probably have a strong role left...maybe a Mistborn? Also I don’t quite see what soothing my vote proves, Ventyl.:P I mean, elim!ventyl could still have an elim partner submit the night kill - we’re moving with the assumption that there’s 2 elims left. Although if the elims may have a Mistborn I’m starting to wonder if there’s really just one left. Hm. Xino was vanilla, so perhaps there’s 2 remaining regardless of what roles they have? Anyway I’m gonna stop suspecting you for being a Soother, since I clearly can’t seem to correctly guess the role distributions in this game (I never would’ve believed Straw if he’d told me he was a village hazekiller)...I still have other reasons I outlined last turn to still suspect you a bit though. And welcome Coop! Choosing Lum? You mean choosing Straw? You voted Straw
  21. 1. While this doesn’t take away my suspicions, I guess it’s a fair response. 2. But unlike what you say, Aman was being viewed as a villager by everyone. Iirc there was some general suspicion directed at him D1. 3. Why’d you only feel it necessary to check Aman’s analysis of Fura and not, say, Fifth’s? Apologies Fifth, I see your reasonings for your vote on Lum and I mostly agree with it, but I’m going to leave my vote where it is for now as to provide another topic of discussion for the people that have yet to vote (almost everyone) plus I wouldn’t mind a Straw lynch honestly. And as of now, we’re standing at a no-lynch as the min no. of votes needed for a lynch is 2 so people should really get on and vote. Plus the lack of activity at this point is worrying. I’m supposed to be asleep so I won’t be contributing to discussion before the turn ends in ~6 hours (?) I’ll see if I can get on some time before it though to see if changing my vote to Lum/Ventyl is better.
  22. So I finally looked at Straw’s posts. (Please save the applause for later ) : 1. Starts with a emoji so that Aman can add him to his tally. Distancing? It’s nothing game related so I don’t know - probably best to just chalk it up to NAI. Notes that there are only poke votes and no major lynches. This part is interesting because despite saying this, Straw didn’t cast a vote himself. Elim lean because it sounds like he wants a solidified lynch instead of those scattered votes, without really willing to be proactive in that. 2. Criticises the low number of voters, hopes that more people to vote D2. Slight elim read because it sounds like he’s looking out for the village, except he didn’t vote either. So it’s kinda hypocritical. 3. I’ll just quite the post here: “Yay for no kill, I guess. I guess this kind of compensates for losing a Mistborn?” Completely ignores the possibility of a WGG (which we now know actually happened). Elim read here too, as it is subtle somewhat-defending of a confirmed elim. 4. Talks about the possibility of a WGG after being prompted to do so by Fifth. However he takes an uncertain stance on it, saying that he finds the WGG unlikely and doesn’t want the discussion to die down. Perhaps a little elimy bc of the response to the WGG? Mostly NAI though, I’d say. 5. NAI post about kandra (as in, the kandra in the lore, not the role itself) 6. Now this is a nice post. Let’s see...It’s basically reasons why Straw finds Fura suspicious, followed by a vote. I will note that the lynch status at this point was Fura(4) and Devotary(5), so jumping on an already existing village bandwagon would’ve definitely been the easy way for an elim to vote. Nothing stands out in his reasons for the vote - they’re basically things everybody else said too. 7. Tells Fura to respond to Aman’s post as that would allow them to defend themself. Some stuff about PMs, and then points out that Fura’s vote switch to themself is a villager thing to do but also not. I’d say this post gives me slight elim vibes due to the last part but it’s largely not indicative I think. 8. Again criticises Fura’s PM network info gathering thingy. I’ll admit that the PM thing sounded pretty elimy to me too at the time. So NAI I guess. 9. NAI post about OoG stuff 10. Votes on Rath. I will note that this was the 5th vote on Rath. Seeing as almost everybody voted on Rath I’m not going to look too much into this. NAI. 11. Encourages me to take my vote seriously as it shows my stance on the lynch, even though I’d already given a kinda detailed response to everything going on in the thread. This is kind of suspicious in hindsight as it looks like he wanted me to change my vote to Rath just to be sure the lynch isn’t under any threat from vote manips. Although, the lynch was p solidified as it was anyway, like I pointed out, so I don’t entirely see the point. Ever-so-slight elim read. Additionally, I asked Straw for this thoughts on the game/reads like twice at various points in time but didn’t get a reply to either, so that’s kinda sus too ig. As such, I’ll be changing my vote to Straw I plan to look at Snip next, but no promises on whether I can manage to do that before his turn ends due to time constraints :/ Ventyl
  23. :0 edit: I can’t tell whether that’s an actual claim, elim!ventyl joking to try and sound not too worried, or just village!ventyl joking
  24. 1. You tried scanning him? Did you scan him last turn or at some other point in time? 2. What? Did Aonar claim that PMs? I don't think he ever claimed that in-thread...As far as I can tell, these kills could've been a coinshot's doing too. The writeup didn't reveal anything about the kandra's abilities. Though I think it's safe to assume everything Aman said about the kandra abilities was bullcrap xD Or even just one if we're lucky! Either way I'm feeling pretty good. Not sure where you stand in my suspicions list anymore, Fifth. You have everything to make me suspicious enough, but given Aman's alignment reveal, your reaction to the WGG seems to point towards you being village. hm. Anyway my suspicions for the remaining elims are Ventyl and Lum (because of interactions with Aman), and Devotary has some potential too. More importantly, I want to take a closer look at Straw and Snip this turn. Which...I will get around to doing at some point >> do I regret joining this game in the middle of finals? Ha ha you betcha iNtErEsTiNg. Two village soothers? I agree with Fifth that doesn't sound very likely. And on top of that, your trust for Aman throughout the game is suspicious too. For now Ventyl But, yknow, we'll see. Haven't looked at Straw and Snip yet
