    I’ll play :)) Also I will only be communicating through memes/gifs. I will try my best to remain actively contributing while also sticking to this, I think it should be fun. I suppose in PMs I might drop it, haven’t made my mind up about that yet.

    Everyday we are faced with a choice: I'm about to go to a 4-hour class soon, and later today I will be out (possibly during rollover time) - I will try to log on every now and again whenever I can. But me getting exed is likely I think, even with the RNG, given my luck. I was actually really excited about my role because it's unlike anything I've had the chance to use before and I can't use it this cycle because that will definitely have bad, destructive outcomes.xD I guess if Mat is village (which I kinda doubt, at this stage), my role can still be used by someone else as an item, hopefully village.

    Some thoughts: Mat: I feel like with the role that Mat’s claiming, I’d certainly have more than just a singular question. I am not discounting the possibility that the claim is true - but from my perspective this role can easily be both an E or V role so this should not be a basis for softclearing. Mat: This feels like distancing, potentially. Exp: This makes me lean exp/archer not e/e TUA: Also I somehow missed this post and was confused about this and no one bothered to let me know?? xD Jeez. Stick: This illwe/exp exchange doesnt seem like e/e to me : Stink: Progresses from reading mat neutral to elim/neutral but notably does not cast a vote - imo stink/mat are likely e/e The fluidity of Thaidakar’s votes seem village (i feel like a first-timer rolling elim would play more cautiously - be a lot more self-conscious) so I’m less suspicious of them now, but I am by no means softclearing them Will note that Ash’s posts so far have been largely NAI (ninjad by aman noting the same thing about mat and GM PM questions) Tani: what was the point in tagging Szeth? I feel like tani/szeth possibly e/e. I dont recall szeth talking about newbie desperateness like ever, and my reread confirms that. So perhaps they were having doc conversations and it accidentally translated into tani tagging szeth in the thread conversation regarding the same. Might be reading too much into it, now that im typing it out actually Perhaps tani is just being tani. like i said, I don't mind switching to Striker. I'll think some more about Ash, since I just quickly went through their posts in addition to the thread reread and they come off to me as NAI, which might not be the best thing

    I really don’t see the correlation here the bolded is exactly why I assume this. Note that I’ve also previously said that the term epic maybe doesn’t necessary equal to a role. It could just be epic in flavour, without actions. I’m confused as to why everyone else wouldn’t make the same inference from the name? Yeah I wanted to see how people would vote, given the ripe targets. Like I said, I’d previously underestimated how much info we can get off D1 when there’s multiple people up for the exe until the AG, so I guess part of me was hoping to recreate that There’s a chance we might’ve, I’ll have to evaluate the votes after this cycle if I’m still alive.

    Mat for obvious reasons of self pres, though I am also open to switching to Striker because his votes have been oddly self-conflicting. In fact Mat’s vote on me despite reading me village apparently also does not make much sense - I let it marinate overnight because the level of desperation seemed to indicate either v!mat with a highly powerful role that would be really useful for us to have, or e!mat. But given this role claim I’m kind of left with the latter now. 3/5 people haven’t given reasons for them voting me and out of the 2/5, devo is exeing me for having a role (? :P). Just feel like it’s painfully obvious something’s off about this train EDIT; why do I always forget to green out my votes smh Experience

    True. It also depends on what the player in question thinks Archer's alignment is, based on which they can either decide to spill accurate info or simply mislead. I know. I literally said these things . I feel like you didn't read my entire post? I laid out 4 possibilities and concluded on v!archer for the moment because i feel like it's a move way too risky and also just unnecessary for an elim to make. Anyway I be off to bed

    Gotta admit I’m not sure what to make of the suddenly forming train or Mat’s flip-flopping/non-committal tone, but this sure is getting interesting We’re tied currently and ties result in RNGesus deciding who bites the dust. The way the votes went in the C1 tie in the AG worked rather well in terms of giving us enough info to uncover nearly the entire elim team so… Will note that this post (and exp’s post prior to this one) makes me think that exp/aman are not e/e

    Yes to the first part, not really to the second. Yes, I am a bit paranoid of them, but that’s not only why I’m not reading them village. Mainly, I’m not reading them village because imo they haven’t said/done anything that sticks out to me as particularly village? And Idk if e!mat would say the things I’m thinking cuz I don’t know what the e!mat mindset is like xD Just because I agree with their takes doesn’t mean their alignment is the same as mine - it’s the stuff like asking about neutrals, the faction names observation, this response to the TUA vanilla comment, etc. I can see these takes logically coming from either alignment, which is why I’m not necessarily giving village cred to them. Ninjad by kas, same response ^

    If I actively wanted him dead, I would’ve just voted on him As it stands, I am not suspicious enough to cast a vote there but have no reason to push against the exe, if that makes sense? C1s I am simply not opposed to any exe candidate unless I have specific reason to not exe them (i.e. reason to believe they’re village). Think Devo talked about this in the AG as well.

    If we're dealing with v!Archer, then the elims are probably picking apart your claim right now. So I suppose we should as well. The more I think about this the more I'm convinced that v!Archer does not gain much for the village from false-claiming this way, so you're either a 1.villager telling the truth or 2.an elim telling the truth or 3.an elim lying. In terms of usefulness of use, I'm not too sold on the second possibility because why would an elim talk to the dead? I have already confirmed with TJ that the elim team does not have any hidden secondary wincons/alternative ways to win other than reaching parity. Perhaps it would be useful if they wanna communicate with a dead teammate. Hm. Not impossible. And again, how useful really is this role to villagers anyway because the dead people can maybe just straight-up lie, as you said? @|TJ| is the dead doc spoilered? Perhaps TJ just threw this role in just to troll. On to possibility 3 - this role is not strictly provable because dead people are dead. Uh, unless. (TJ, does this game have zombie mechanics? xD) so maybe e!Archer can safely get away with claiming this. I'm afraid I don't know Archer's playhistory well enough to know whether they are likely to pull a gambit like this as an elim. Thoughts, anyone? Also I didn't mention possibility 4 but I guess we can't discount it - Archer being a neutral. Any questions I asked TJ regarding neutrals were given a PAFO, so I guess it remains a possibility. For the moment I think I'm going with v!Archer, if only because it's a bold move to be making C1 specially when he wasn't in any danger/pressure to do so. Unsure of whether this is genuine confusion or you playing the newbie card Something is off about this and I can't put my finger on it. tbh that bit reads more elim than village to me - the elim team knows it's own role composition but not the village's. It's obvious from the elim faction name that they're all Epics (although I suppose it's possible that some of them are only epics in flavour but vanilla in practice?), whereas the village faction name is more ambiguous. I acknowledged his apathy comment in my first post and thus knew he'd voted, but given all the other votes flying around I forgot who it was on Agreed. Wait hold on lemme simplify that: Indeed. Why the Mat vote? Thoughts on players so far: reading archer village for above reasons, gut-reading illwei village but I feel like that's mostly because she's voting on me and I tend to trust people who I feel arent trying to pocket me xD While Tani hasn't given me much reason to village read her (and thus not much reason to take my vote off her), I think I'll go for Experience for today. I'm also side-eyeing Thaidakar but wouldnt wanna exe them just yet because it's their first game and the benefit of the doubt is warranted, at least tentatively. Regarding Mat, I seem to find myself mindmelding/agreeing with a lot of what they say, so naturally I am paranoid xD Not opposed to that exe. Mental note to look closer at Araris, Devo, and Ash (though im leaning slight village on ash because of tone). Will also add Kas to the village pile for now. I think I am caught up on the three extra pages now. Generally we vote on people we're suspicious of in order to execute them, but Cycle-1s are usually the exception since we don't have enough info to make highly informed decisions so we mainly go with our guts here. xD
