    sequence conf vill (the scan was fake(:P)) edit: also, while youre not allowed to copy/paste things from your PMs, you can always paraphrase them. But avoid your GM PM as that can get tricky.

    As I understand it, Drake PM'd people claiming to have scanned them village. It is unclear whether he PM'd everybody claiming the same or just a select few (I received one too). If Drake is an elim, he might've done this either to pocket people (unlikely) or as primarily an info gathering tactic to pass it off later as a reaction test. If Drake is village it could only really be a reaction test. Either way, from what we saw in-thread, I think it's safe to conclude that Drake is NOT e/e with: illwei, Archer, Tani. Archer Archer didn't hesitate to out Drake as the "scanner" following illwei's announcement (he posted this 6 minutes after). @Archer how come you didn't consider the possibility of another scanner having scanned illwei? Why did you assume Drake's scan was fake? (Asking because perhaps he explained to you in PMs that it was - in which case this doesn't make you suspicious)

    Village: Steel, Fifth, TJ, Bip, Illwei, (Tani, Mat) Took out JNV from the list as I have been unsure about them lately Tani and Mat in parentheses because they probably need revaluation but I’m willing to trust them tentatively edit1: Elim: Araris, Karn, Drake, Archer, Szeth? edit2: Id like to move TJ to the null pile actually. Know I don’t have one currently but it exists now.

    I too found it a bit odd that he was willing to vote alongside his top suspicion, but you have to remember that Thaid was the lead train and my exe (consisting of only Araris' vote) wasn't showing signs of taking off so it does make sense to switch to his other top suspicion. That said, at this point in time I do not read Araris as village - it's possible he only jumped on that wagon for a chance to get one of Thaid's items.

    I mean...villagers do want other villagers to view them as village in order to avoid unnecessary MLs, so maybe? But it's probably a way more subconscious effort than an elim's deliberate moves aiming for village cred

    Makes sense I do gut-read Mat village, but it's mild and not enough to blue him out in the list because it's purely gut and nothing else. Also I accidentally greened out Bip here: I promise I'm not an Investigator and have definitely not scanned her Here are justifications for me village reading the people above:

I think it's highly unlikely that none of the elims partook in the exes, so by PoE, there has to be at least one elim among Araris, Drake, Karn, Mat, Archer, and Szeth. edit: Also, I just realised I've been calling TUA TUO this entire time xD Are they the same person??

Mat and Karn also alerted them of the same in thread though - my initial assumption was that this was what prompted Thaid to quickly edit it out. BUT. I agree with Bip that forgetting that your item got stolen isn't all that likely, so claiming to have forgotten in-thread does seem not entirely genuine. And there was also that other glaring thing where they refused to acknowledge the hard claim our friendly neighbourhood security officer has been trying to make - I can see that E!Thaid got informed of this through the doc perhaps, and maybe forgot that this claim is actually just thread-wide knowledge. And so they tried to play it off as if they had no idea. I could be reaching here but it is also 2 am so Thaid edit: re:the Bort RB thing - if we get roleblocked, do we still get to use the vials in another turn or do they just get wasted? Not tagging Striker because this might've been already answered but I'm too tired to go look

    hmm yes I am now destressed for some mysterious reason ( ͡° ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ͡°) I can't remember if I've already said this, but I think Steel is village. I also think his explanation of the teammate thing makes sense. Does anyone have a VC? I don't feel particularly great about any of the exes being brought up, so I'm going to see if I can get something else going.

    One of those two definitely was the elim kill though, so it checks out. I would've! If PMs existed. I was afraid that if v!Exp, the elims would just send their NK on them in the same cycle then, because that plus my kill would mean that Exp was being double tapped and so the elims would effectively get rid of a lurcher that they otherwise would've had trouble getting rid of. To be fair it didn't even do it's job right so idk, it was kind of a let down This assumes I knew what Archer was gonna flip as - which I didn't, so... tbh feeling unsure about orlok at the moment
