  1. Why not. In-character game as Amnar the Watcher. (Not watcher in a stalker way. Just in an observe-before-act way.)
  2. Where is your hospitality? Get this guest some cookies!
  3. I'm choosing whether or not to run a character on C2, because according to my history, approximately half my deaths are first-cycle.
  4. This really sounds to me like you yourself is Preservation. Publicly advising Ruin to hit the less active players sounds like a really good way for you to not get targeted, don't you think? I think there was some difference between Phattemer's comment, which rubbed me the wrong way, and Stick's comment. I interpreted Phatt as "not voting is a good way to generate discussion" whereas I interpreted Stick as "I'll vote later after I get some material to work with". Seeing as in many games I do the same thing as Stick did, I'm not suspicious of him. As for HH, he does seem a bit off to me tbh. I have to head out the door soon so more on him in the future. - RP to come, and one more thing when I can
  5. Do it Drake! We need you in the game! I'm signing up. I'm really tempted to run Ceol the Truthseeker again, but I'm not sure yet.
  6. Now we're only missing two players probably a record I'll get a post down once I analyze better. Also, to quote Phatt, " I'm going to wait to vote to encourage more discussion. " Actually, wait. That logic sounds a bit dubious, don't you think, Phattemer? I'm going to vote on you, hopefully this doesn't discourage discussion by me voting.
  7. Happy birthday!

  8. Heads up! The blade of the monster smashed the ground next to Ceol, causing him to break out of his stupor. He regained his bearings. His right hand held the claymore, and his left... Hithon was no longer holding his hand. Ceol surveyed the scene frantically. Where had he gone off to? It couldn't have been f-- His eyes rested on the terrible image of Hithon and Teresh locked in combat with each other. Sword clashed with daggers as the two traded blows inhumanly fast. Teresh danced with a trail of Stormlight behind him, while the blind man fought savagely, leaking darkness with every slash. Life before death, Ceol. Though exhausted, he began to run to Teresh’s aid. He had only made it a few yards when, completely unexpectedly, the Voidbringer’s massive sword came down on him. Ceol raised his claymore at the last second, but it did little to stop the mighty force of the attack. He was thrown to the side, arm badly wounded, and the sword spun off in the opposite direction. The monster smiled, a horrific sight, and raised its sword to finish Ceol off. Instinctively, the hunter reached for his bag of coins, finding the right one in a matter of seconds and transforming it into the glimmering shield. He braced it in front of him, but he knew it would not be enough to stop the colossal blow that was to come. Strength before weakness. Ceol breathed in, and his body filled with strength. Stormlight. The monster’s sword hit the shield, causing the metal to shatter in a spiderweb of cracks and sending a shockwave through Ceol’s whole being. Yet somehow, the shield held together. Stormlight filled the cracks, glowing in a pattern not unlike the Shattered Plains. The Voidbringer swung again, but Ceol was too fast, rolling out of the way as the sword split the ground which he had been standing on mere moments ago. It was only then that he realized he had backed himself up against a cliffside formed by a tall rock formation. The monster smiled its hellish smile, hefting its sword once again for another blow. Journey before-- “Enough with the mystical talk, Vis! Say something practical, like ‘dodge left’ or something!” Fine. Run up the wall. “Run up the…what!?” Ceol held up the shield again to blow another momentous strike. The cracks in the shield widened, the Stormlight flickered. You asked for my advice. Run up the wall. The Voidbringer prepared for another strike. Ceol raised the shield, though he knew it wouldn’t last much longer. “How the storms do you expect me to--” Another hit connected, and the shield completely shattered into silver fragments, which peppered the battlefield. A large piece flew straight up into the air, and Ceol caught it. A tarnished coin. Do you have a better option, Ceol? “Point.” He turned his back on the Voidbringer, who was preparing for a finishing blow. All his instincts screamed against the move. Then again, all his instincts screamed against trying to run up a wall. Clear your mind. Let the Light fill your entire being. Then, let your perception of the world shift. Let the rocks beneath you become your surroundings; let your surroundings become the rocks beneath you. The sky is no longer a barrier, but an opportunity. No longer a law, but a tool. Break the sky, Ceol. And may Braize feel the fury of Justice. Ceol jumped.
  9. Could I get a few people from around the world to PM me and I can send them a link to make sure this is working? I want to ensure it works for someone in Australia just as well as it works for someone down the street.
  10. Oh! Right! Because I'm Unjust and you don't even care who I vote for... [spins the wheel] Lopen Quiver DA This may or may not be a WIFOM. Probably not. ;D
  11. Mage, you wrote 26 pages of elim doc by yourself? You deserve the win just for that Edit: @A Joe in the Bush Was it always meant to be the first player who signed up would be the eliminator? Or did it just turn out that way?
  12. 20 minutes until GG 1 to 1 last cycle isn't too bad, is it? Joe, if you could tell us what the crap has been going on behind the scenes, that would be great. Also which items actually do things. I'm pretty sure my antidote is useless. Probably the spear too.
  13. I've been working on a system which has the players use Google Sheets to submit their orders and then automatically gathers up all the information for the GM on one screen. It seems to work so far, which is good And it's much simpler for everyone to use.
  14. First Harry Potter was good, but the second? Not for the first time, an argument had broken out over breakfast at number four, Privet Drive. And then the murders began. Once, in a house on Egypt street, there lived a rabbit who was made almost entirely of china. And then the murders began. "Lady Sarene begs your forgiveness. She's going to be a tad late for dinner." And then the murders began.
  15. - “Initiate, get Hithon to Teresh, now!” Ranatar called, then whirled back into battle. This "Initiate" has a name, Ceol thought wryly, finally. He took Hithon by the arm and ran around the monstrous Shardbearer, who was distracted by Ranatar. The monster's weapon hit the ground again, sending up a shower of stone chunks. Ceol's Stormlight quickly closed the wounds. He glanced over at Hithon. He wasn't healing. That was a bad sign. Ceol. "Vis? What is it?" Ceol's voice was clear and unstressed. Ceol, do you hear it? "Hear what?" The voice. "Voice? What voice?" It is calling to you. Calling from the realm of the cognitive. The realm of the dead. Great. Now a dead person wanted to talk to him. That was definitely a bad sign. "Are you sure you aren't hearing things?" he asked Vis. Ceol, this is no time for jokes. Another shower of rocks from the monster's swing emphasized Vis's point. "Well, what's it saying?" Hello Ceol. I speak to you from the other side. Ceol gasped. That's Sareth's voice! But how... Vis is quite an interesting spren. I've had a few conversations with it. Is his voice coming from...Vis? Do not be alarmed. I have one thing left to do before I pass to the Beyond... ...and that is to choose a Truthseeker. Truthseeker... that Shin man always was talking about the Truth or something like that. Ceol. You have found your Truth. Congratulations. But now I call upon you to help others find the Truth within in them and around them. Storms will try to block your way. Lies and temptations and hate and violence, all will rise before you, and it already has. Do you know the book? Find it. Wear the cloak. Each are a symbol of your status, that you have become something more. Think of it as a new facet of your nature, a gem now more beautifully cut. "Sareth! Wait! A book, a cloak, where...? How? A gem beautifully cut? What do you..." The voice merely said, Fear not death. Then, with a sense of finality, it was gone.
  16. I have to say, I was right on two of my main three assumptions: Bugsy is village Alvron is eliminator Mage is eliminator I should have noticed you to be suspicious lurking around during "Me v. Alvron". Was phattemer an eliminator?
  17. Fair enough. Mine was black too. Just making sure you didn't try to say "green" or something. Why are you giving me that look? I'm village, and the game hasn't ended, so unless this is hidden last-man-standing or something, you're clearly an eliminator. >.>
  18. Fine. Mage. But what do you mean "this is still gonna be a village win", you dirty eliminator? Here. I have a question for you. What color was your alignment in the GM PM?
  19. Never mind, Magestar. I just remembered that tied lynches result in double death. Let's do this Hunger Games style!
  20. Uhhhhhh... I'm village. I don't have a kill role or anything. The game should have ended by now Magestar, I guess? Gibbs was lucky today. He hadn't been paying half as much attention as he should have been, yet somehow, this happened. Did it have anything to do with the briefcase he always carried around?
  21. Near-infinite wealth versus a living corpse following me around? What kind of a question is that? Would you rather be a Rioter but every time you use your power, a Justin Bieber song starts playing loudly and nobody can tell where it's coming from, or randomly receive $200 in quarters from an eccentric uncle?
