Long Game 28: The Awakening at the House on the Hill
Magestar replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'd like to join as Moro. Moro is tall (6 ft 5), has a shaved head, coal black skin, and maroon tatoos spiraling around his body. He's narcissistic, somewhat haughty, but very loyal.- 980 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Would you mind telling me if my arguments did anything to sway you? I tried to prove I'm innocent, but I don't think it's being very effective. What else can I do to try and prove my innocence? What have I done to make myself seem guilty? Have I not defended myself effectively?- 463 replies

I'm very happy with this guy right now. Thank you for posting something where someone realizes that the election is over, and life hasn't changed a whole lot. I'm looking around me, and I'm not seeing a lot has changed. Maybe it will in the next four years, but there's a reason we have a system of checks and balances in our government. Right now, everything is still pretty normal, and I intend to enjoy it while it lasts. I'd also like to thank all the people who are remaining calm.

This is probably the best outlook I've heard in a while. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity, by being sensible.

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh Boy. Well, before I start, I'd like to say I like the tone of your post. It's not super accusiatory, just stating the facts, which is nice. And I'll admit it looks sort of bad for me. It was a massive bandwagon. I didn't like it. I'm not sure that there was another person that it looked like Doc PM'ed. Another thing is, Doc was in contact with Jondesu, so I was right, even if he was an Eliminator. Ok. My voting patterns look unfortunate, but I did basically start the game on C3 with like no information. I guess I've had a bit of a bad streak of voting, but if you look at my votes, I've always tried to back them up, I've not just voted on Villagers (I don't think?) and I think that I did not vote sometimes when villagers were lynched. I only voted Alv to try and get him to talk. Rae's post defended her pretty well. I'm not sure that that's a point against me. That's not a classic tactic. You might consider, possibly, that instead of being a manipulative mastermind, I had no idea what was going on, and I voted on the person I was suspicious of instead of the inactive person. I don't remember defending sheep super strongly. I just remember saying basically what I've said, that I'd rather lynch an active suspect than an inactive one. And wouldn't defending a villager be in my favor anyway? You yourself said Sart was a good option. I said second best for the same reason I said I'd rather lynch Len than Sheep. DA was more suspicious, but also more active. Looks like I was right about lynching the active person instead, anyway. Although DA did end up being a villager. But I always have trouble reading DA. Had Sheep survived and not posted, it would have made a lot of sense to lynch him. The people I listed are basically cleared. I still think Ecth is a Jester. I doubt that there were more than 6 elims, and that there are more than two or three left. I wouldn't be surprised if there's only one. We've killed... 3? And an inactive was probably an Elim, at least one. So two more would make six, which I don't think is unlikely.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions

-sigh- I'm going to vote for Assassin as well, simply by process of elimination. My suspicions are Assassin, Ecth, and Stick, in about that order, simply because everyone else is basicly cleared in my mind. Although I intend to go over that today to make sure I'm not missing anything.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions

The vote is so spread out right now. It's somewhat worrying. I feel like I should keep mine where it is, however, I am slightly worried that DA has three votes, and then there are a large number of miscellaneous votes hovering around. If we could decide on a person to definitely lynch, that would be great.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This cycle. I mean, if he had survived to this cycle, and still not responded, I would have been all for a Sheep Lynch. I just felt like it would be more useful to lynch a suspicion of mine who was actually active. And was I pushing that hard? Looking back, I remember giving some reasons for a Len lynch and asking why we were lynching Sheep. I don't remember getting a good answer, and I think I asked again. edit; Ninja'd by Dani. DA usually confuses me, and I think he likes causing chaos more than he likes winning, which is odd. I think it will be easier for me to decide what to do next once he's dead, plus, I think it's pretty likely that he's an Elim.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Would you mind telling me what about my posts seemed off? If @TheMightyLopen could do that as well, that would be great, as I've seen both of you list me as a suspicion. I thought lynching Len was a good idea. I was wrong. Not a lot I can do about that now, but I only voted for Len twice this game, and the second time was after other people had voted for him, so I voted for someone I thought we should lynch instead of someone I thought would die by inactivity.- 463 replies

I think, personally, it's best not to let it sit. You'll probably have to deal with it eventually, and it's probably not healthy for her to see you that way. Given time, it will probably go away, but I think that you, as an authority figure, and a person 5 years older, should probably tell her, in a kind way, that the relationship won't work, and why. You can deal with it however you want, but leaving it hanging is probably not best for her, IMO. -
Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
How does this make me more suspicious? Guys, can you tell me something? Do I just exude natural Elim reads? Because in like every game I've played, I've been told I seem like an Elim several times. -sigh- I'm going to vote on DA, although Sart seems the second most viable option. Rae has pretty much cleared herself in my mind, same with Lopen and Wonko. I still think Ecth's a Jester. Assassin is quiet, having only participated to vote and say some OOG stuff, but what else is new. Stick is.... Stick, probably. I'm not sure about her. Sart most likely either posted in a Doc at some point or sent a PM, because by my calculations he has not posted for nearly the amount of time needed for the innactivity filter. I sort of hope he comes on, but otherwise I think it's likely he will die of innactivity, so I don't feel the need to lynch him.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Nothing. It's basically recompense for getting a role as bad as Jester. I personally don't mind the role. It's usually obvious when someone get's it, but I've seen some players use it very well, and it can be fun to try and get someone to lynch you without being super obvious. It's definitely interesting, and brings a new facet to the game. Some people hate it, though.- 463 replies

Quick Fix Game 19: Noble Intentions
Magestar replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It's from ToS (Town of Salem), and it's basically a role that needs to get lynched to win, and then gets a kill after they die. So, once they get themselves lynched, they get a kill from the grave, but can only kill someone who voted for them. edit; This explains it better than I did. http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Jester edit 2; Although personally I don't have a problem with the role. But that site doesn't like it.- 463 replies

Actually, all things considered, I'm worried about a Jester role. Sheep. I'm feeling like either he wants to die, or he's a jester. If he wanted to die because of RL reasons, he could have just said like Aman did. Too scary for me. Or he has a protection role? Idk. Still to scary. The Paranoia is real.- 463 replies
