I'd like to have all the cheese, and I'd like to know what color the Oiled Linen Shoes are. Are any of the shoes Black, to match my nice, black cowl? I'm also going to vote on Arinian. I think that it will give us a lot of information, and, also, if he's village, then we can lynch Joe. Kynedath might be next, but I'm kind of surprised Arinian has lasted this long. Thendir stood in front of a large mirror he had found. "Hmmm." He spun around. He turned left, and then right. Yes, the [Black Cowl] fit him very, very nicely. He was confident that he now was the best looking person in the tower. Thendir spun around, and set off to find someone to tell about it.

Long Game 29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye
Magestar replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I have way to much time, so it wouldn't cause an issue in my schedule. However, I'd rather this game not be postponed. I'd love if more people signed up, but typically people I know have more time around Christmas. Also, the things it would do to other games is not good. While I wish more people would sign up, I think it's better not to delay it.- 984 replies

Yes. The combination of your general quietness, you're general, sort of vague helpfulness, (up until recently) and your tone is setting me off. The same is true for Rae. If Len is inno, then I'm going to be pretty suspicious of Nyali. It'd be nice to kill an Elim, though. I'm also probably going to die soon, because I'm a contributing villager. Or maybe they'll just let me live because all my suspicions are wrong.

Could I have the [Black Cowl], and the Ebony Capped Staff? If someone else want's the Ebony Capped Staff or Cowl, I would be willing to give one of them up for [All The Cheese]. And, I'm going to put my vote back on Elenion. I think that it's most likely that he's an Elim, considering past events. Assuming we have between 4 and 5 elims, I'm begining to get a little worried. I'd love if some people would post suspicions and do some more analysis. I'll do some more myself a little later on. My top suspicions right now are Len, Rae, Joe, and Kynedath, in about that order, I think. Joe and Rae might swap places a bit. It might just be Rae's playstyle that's throwing me off as well.

It's mostly because I'm unsure of myself. I should really put my foot down. Fine. Elenion. Stink. I'd love to have a tie between Alv and Len and Stink. They are my three main suspicions right now, I think. I should really take notes. I'd quote what STINK just said, but it won't let me. So in response to that, well, this post. I'm voting for Len. Either Len or Alv would be a good lynch, IMO, for info's sake. STINK, I'm still suspicious of you, don't worry. But it's more you're tone, which I'm having trouble reading. Leaving it up to chance provides a nice 'It's not my fault' fallback. Plus, it's helpful for deciding between two equal options. I can see why you might not like it, but it is nice occasionally. And people keep responding to me. -sigh- That's interesting. Now I really have to hit post so you can all see what I'm saying.

More because I don't really find any of the people up for lynch super suspicious. Good try though. It was a bit of a shot in the dark. It's more likely that you'd forget to finish a sentence when writing in a Doc, from my experience, but I don't really thing it's very viable. I think the way you reacted to that is more interesting that the fact that you didn't finish the sentence. Neither thing really definitely makes you look suspicious, though.

Same. I feel so... Relaxed. It's so weird. Len, if Alv ends up being innocent, I'm going to be very suspicious of you. I really don't mind letting the RNG decide, although I wish there were better options. I do see what you're saying about Alv, though, and I don't think we should discount him. So I'm not going to argue against killing Alv, because I think it will give us a lot of info. But you're on thin ice, Len.

"Well Tarnation." Thendir said. He spat on the floor. "Well, I still think there's something suspicious about you. And that wine, which, obviously, is a poor year. Nothing like that (mumbled date) vintage I had the other day." I'm in the same position as Joe right now, but I think I'll vote for Stick. A tie seems the best way to deal with this to me, seeing as I'm not particularly suspicious of any of these people. I'm more suspicious of Stink and Alv than Stick, however, so that's where my vote is going. I believe we now have a tie? Also, for my suspicions list, I'm going to borrow this nice list of players that Burnt made. Thank you, Burnt. 1- Glathir (The Only Joe in the Bush) - Rather quiet. Had not posted a whole lot of game relevant info, mostly skirting the edges of responding to people and contributing. Elim Tactic to remain neutral and Unnoticed? Who knows.2- Stormblessed (Darkness Ascendant) 45%3- Sartinia (Sart) 47%4- Boris (Elenion) 59%5- Thendir (Magestar) 50%6- Arinian (Arinian) 44%7- Fjord (Assassin in Burgundy) 48%8- Lyce Norvo (Kynedath) 55%11- Stub-Tail (Alvron) Fairly normal read. Would be surprised if Alv survives very long with his rep. If he does, suspect shenanigans. 12- Stick (I am a Stick) Neutral/Good Read.13- Kipper (Kipper) Inactive. Will probably die by filter.14- Guilty (Elodin) Ummm. Quiet? Somewhat helpful. I can't get a read on him. I may have forgotten he was playing.16- Galerion (OrlokTsubodai) Not seeing a reason to be suspicious of him.17- Rhea (Nyali) Mildly suspicious because of voting patterns and going against WoH with her theory. Basically what Rae said. But wait, I'm suspicious of Rae to!18- Jayjay (Arraenae) This is odd: It just cuts off. What's that? Did you copy and paste this from a Doc, or just forget to type it in? Idk. Plus, I've been getting a bad gut read on Rae. Something about her tone. Been fairly active.20- Adarjmei (Burnt Spaghetti) Seems to be acting like normal Burnt. Can't say a lot about her.21- Kjartan & Mus (Kasimir) Meh. Again, I'll be surprised if he survives a lot longer, considering how much he's been contributing. If he survives much longer, I say we lynch him.22- John (JUQ) Quiet. Idk. Plus, I'm getting tired of making viable suspicions by the 22nd player.23- Stink - Whatever. Maybe evil. Idk. Idc. Well that's about it. I'm tired now. Bai.

THANK YOU. Also, in the future, it might be a better idea to have mentioned me, because I almost missed this. Not something I'd like to have happened. Also, I think I explained why I missed C1, and I apologize for doing so. I'll be much more active over the next week or so. My suspicions right now mirror Kas' to some extent, however, I'm not really suspicious of Alv (This bit is going to be a bit of a joke.), and I'm still somewhat suspicious of Kynedath. I have an awful cold RN, so my brain isn't working at it's best, but I'm going to try and cover for that with more activity. Also, I'd love to have the regular [Staff], if no one minds. I don't think that's been taken yet? I'll make a suspicions list in my next post, when I have a bit more time. I have to take a quiz today, but the good news is it's the last bit of school I have before break. So I'll be able to say more relevant stuff later. Thendir walked up to Kjartan. "It's quite simple, really." He said, his wrinkled face creeping into a smile, "Stub-tail bet against Innocent being an Elim, when Boris bet his wine bottles. Innocent turned out not to be an Elim, and, that same night, Zelda, the other person who had bet against Boris, died!" Thendir waved his staff about, pointing to people as they mentioned them. "This means that Stub-tail got all the wine! I propose that he knew that Innocent was innocent, and bet for that, knowing that he would get all the wine! Then he killed Zelda, so as to be the only person with wine!" Thendir paused momentarily, for dramatic effect. "I propose we kill Stub-Tail, take the wine, and destroy it." Thendir mimed smashing wine bottles with his staff. "The wine is obviously an object of great evil." He coughed. "We should probably kill Boris while we're at it." (I was bored. Thendir's views in this matter do not reflect my own.)

It's gotta be so hard to type! Aaaand, the vote is tied. Did we ever get confirmation about what that does? While I'm not sure either of the main lynchees are evil, I get the feeling a no-lynch would put us in a bad place. We need info. Also, @Kipper, did you mean to spoiler your whole post? On a completely unrelated note, I was just listening to that song. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go through the whole playlist. edit; Aaand, you fixed it.

Mostly, I felt you're posts felt incohesive and forced. You're general tone spoke 'Off' to me, and that makes me nervous. Reading through C1, I found you and Lopen to be the most suspicious. Lopen turned out to be good. My reads aren't always accurate. However, I've considered a few things. 1, I've never played with you before, if I remember correctly. So I don't know how you act normally. 2, I think you've put together a pretty good defense, and the things you've said have made sense. 3, My suspicion of you has lessened on a re-read of C1, considering the things you have said. I'll kick myself if you turn out to be an Elim, but I don't think I want to be part of a Kynedath lynch RN. I'm also not seeing a Rae lynch, but I need to look at that more closely. "And, on another note," said Thendir, after finishing his monolouge, "Could one of you young'uns ask me the really important question here? I'm sure you can guess what it is. You're all smart folk. Guess!" Thendir echoes my suspicions, to some extent, but not my reasoning. Once I've said something, you can usually mirror the concept to Thendir. The reverse, however, is not always true.

Thendir woke up. He shook his head, trying to clear out the moths that had likely flown in while he had been sleeping. Moths tended to do that to him. He had had the oddest dreams... Someone had screamed in the night, waking Thendir up. He had rolled over, and gone back to sleep, but still! People. Always so... screamy. Even now, people were shouting, arguing, and being generally annoying. Thendir wandered over to a hole he had made in the floor sometime last night. Through it, he could see the people talking. He squinted. Hmmm. Kjarten was yelling at Helchon, and becoming quite red in the face. Helchon had backed into a corner, and was weathering the tirade rather quietly. Thendir smirked. That's what you get when you attempt to talk to a philosopher about logic. Hmph. After a quick look around, Thendir hefted his [Staff] and made his way downstairs. The views expressed by Thendir definitely don't necessarily mirror those of the writer. Magestar- Was suddenly, unexpectedly, and physically unable to post on the Shard last cycle. Which is also why I couldn't contact Hael to say I couldn't post, because I couldn't PM either. Eh Hem. After reading over the last cycle, the people who really stuck out to me as suspicious were Lopen, Kynedath, and Alv, in that order. Lopen turned out to be village, so I'm not sure what to make of that. Doc really stuck out to me as very village, having played with Doc as both a villager and an Elim, so I'm not really suspicious of them at all. Kas seems to be pretty village to me, and everyone else is sort of in between. Overall, I feel the best place to put my vote for now is Kynedath. Also, someone should ask me why I think Alv is suspicious.

I've decided to change Domo's name to Thendir. Domo is not the right name for this character, nor the right character for this personality. Plus, Thendir decided he didn't like Domo anyway. He's very changeable. Thendir turned. "I'm doing absolutely fine." He replied, his lined face contorting into a grin. Then, suddenly, like a reverse Cheshire Cat, the grin slowly disappeared, until all that was left was Thendir. "Not that that's any of your business, kid." Thendir turned away, mumbling to himself. "What a suspicious looking fellow."

[Theory] The Highstorm is a mobile Perpendicularity
Magestar replied to Yata's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This is extremely interesting to me. The other perpendicularities we have seen usually have extremely large quantities of investiture. However, Shallan entered Shadesmar with just one sphere. I think it must be that they can 'pierce' the realms in a way we haven't really seen before. On that note, another interesting thing is what happens when you duralumin flare Atium, or Flare the Eleventh Metal. It causes sort of a bubble in the realms, which doesn't allow you to travel them, but appears to just let you transcend them momentarily. I was reading SH and thinking about that the other day, and it struck me as a possible way to world hop using the Scadrian Magic system.- 32 replies

Because we need more Dark Elves in this game, I've decided to be a Dunmer! He's of House Telvanhi, and his rank is Magister. I'll stick with Domo for a name for now. He's somewhat comical, grumpy, and very, very old. However, asking his age would be unwise, and likely start a fight. He's not necessarily competitive, but he does like hitting things. He's also rather short for a Dunmer. Guys, Magister sounds like Magestar!
