  1. The ghostCloak is just as good as anything else to block night kills. I'm not sure if it can be disabled(?), but I think I should be fine. I'm not sure if the elims will try to triple tap me to get around it, but it seems more likely that they'll wait till it's gone. I'm not too worried about village attacking me, mostly because I think I've put together a decent defense of my innocence, but also because I'm pretty sure that, even if there is another villager who started with a ionBlade or bought one, they won't waste it on me. I honestly don't know who else we could lynch though. Everyone alive is alive because they are either trusted by the village or ignored by the Elims, which makes it hard for me to make good judgements. I would not mind lynching Burnt or Lopen, but IDK. I worry that we will end up aiding the Elims. Stick's been awfully quiet. I wonder what they have to say on the matter? Also, I'm wouldn't mind hearing some people's lists of trusts and distrusts. I liked seeing those from the other people who did them, which is part of the reason I did one.
  2. I took this to mean that you did not include an alignment scanner role, as you said you did not include an alignment scanner role. That's all I meant.
  3. Barring secret roles, to which effect Aman said he was not going to put any in this game, all they'll find out is that I'm not lying about being an Arcos. So, I'd love if you could find a better way to clear me. I wonder about Burnt, still. Something feels fishy about the whole behind the scenes events associated with Doc and PMs. At this point, with Doc and his primary contacts dead, it'd be really easy for her other major contacts to lie about this stuff. It worries me, TBH. Plus, I think we should look for more lynch candidates. I know everyone loves lynching Magestar, but perhaps we could at least consider others and the reasoning behind it?
  4. Awesome! Glad to hear it.
  5. So, what your saying is, I have to kill upwards of 4 people to make a one person kill record. Cool! Thanks.
  6. LoL. I can't duel you, because I'm an Arcos. I was honestly hoping to keep that a secret, but I after Burnt's reveal, I really can't. Thanks Burnt. I'm going to give you a quick history of my actions and such to make everything clear. I am an Arcos. N1, I started with 5 merit, and a pulseShield. I decided to play for time, acting like I did not have one. I continued this charade until Doc attacked me, and my pulseShield died. Then I claimed to have a pulseShield (I did not). Last cycle I bought a ghostCloak, feeling that I would rather have ALL actions fail against me. I have one now, and I'm suddenly glad with this desire to kill me. I currently have 11 merit. I don't know exactly why Doc did not trust me. He sent me a PM earlier, asked me like 5 questions, to which I responded with complete honesty, about everything except my role. Then, when I asked a few things of him, he did nto get back to me, until the cycle where I was up in New Hampshire, with no internet. I got back to his having asked me another series of questions, which I did not end up getting back to before he died. I instead told him that I would like to look over the thread and get my bearings before I revealed my role and such to him. I did, and told him I'd tell him next cycle. Then he died. Apparently, he had attacked me, was blocked by my items, and was part of a series of kills by whoever the Forsworn have stocking up blades. I'm also not sure why Elbereth was untrusting of me, but I can see how it must look to have the person I was gunning for the whole game end up being a villager. I admit, I was a bit disapointed with that particular turn of events. I actually thought Rae was one of the most viable lynch targets, and then the Elims killed her. But I ask you, how would it make sense for me, if I was an elim, to kill the person I was gunning for, especially since I would have known that she was village? Even if I was an Elim, wouldn't it make more sense to lynch her? I think it's most likely that that was a poorly planned attempt to place suspicions on me. I don't think Lopen would do that, nor Bard. I didn't think Len would either, but this sudden and drastic attack is concerning me a bit. To end, I don't really see why you guys are attacking me, besides the word of a confirmed villager. And, as they themselves stressed, confirmed good is not confirmed right. Yeah, Len's acting all wacky this game. He went from nearly innactive to rapid fire posting and attacking people. I think he was merit farming to try and make up for missing out earlier, but I can't be sure. I was happy with his aggressiveness and activity until it turned on me. Now, needless to say, I'm not entirely happy. Currently, I think Burnt and Len are suspicious of me? Is that it? And have I responded in a decent fashion to your queries? Also, I doubt I'll be back on until 1:00 EDT, so that's why I've tried to get everything down right now. If I contradict myself or seem odd, it's cause I did this really quickly. Also, don't expect me to respond until about 1:00, because I won't even have access to a computer.
  7. It was like that for me, but I went to a new page and it was fine. It might be only parts of the site, or maybe you just need to reload the page.
  8. I'll try to respond later but I don't have time to do so thoroughly right now due to RL reasons.
  9. Out of curiosity, is there a record for most kills in one cycle by one person? My interest is purely academic, of course.
  10. What. That's so... I can't tell if that's the coolest or silliest thing ever. Dankness is going to end up like Stink, I'm predicting it now. Yeah, I'll agree with this. Confirmed good is not confirmed right. I thought you had to get at least 100 words to get merit? I've been operating under that assumption the whole game. Ok. I'm slightly confused now. @Amanuensis, do I have to post 100 words of game related discussion to get a merit? I thought we did. Yeah, that's slightly scary. Oddly, it seems more like how Elenion normally acts from previous games, all over the top aggressive, so it's partially making me trust him more. So, I'm not sure what to do about that. My read on Len is staying the same for now. I would like to hear a little more from @AliasSheep, their thoughts on the game, and such, but other than that I'm mostly happy with the direction this game is going. I would also like to work on who we should lynch tomorrow. My gut says that Burnt is probably the next best lynch target, just from my overall suspicions this game, but it's kind of difficult to get a solid read on her because of how quiet she is. I intend to go back over the thread later today to try and cement my suspicions, and hopefully I'll have a better idea of what to do then. Also, we're nearing the point in the game where we'll start to be able to buy ionBlades. Those of you who are still alive, and have been gaining a decent amount of merit per turn (Looking at you Len, this lynch should give you enough), I encourage you to use your Blades wisely, and preferably PM someone you trust so someone knows what's going on.
  11. Eh, what the heck. Sanity died a long time ago anyway. Atuin. It's turtles all the way down. If we manage to end this game before all the PM's are sent, does that set some kind of record?
  12. I'm honestly a little frustrated that Rae turned out to be good. -sigh- Also, we lost like all our most talkative people in one turn. We're so dead. I'll cheer Len, because I'm not sure what else to do, but I'm going to try to post some interesting stuff here, as well as revise my suspicions list. It's below. Bad reads section: Brown-Piercing: Some odd vibes. Suddenly got much more talkative, and is not paying attention to his own lynch. Maybe he has protection? I'm cheering Len because I lean Elim on him. Tia: Meh. I wouldn't mind lynching her, but don't feel strongly enough start it this cycle. Maybe next? I think it's probably that she's an Elim, but I couldn't say why. Mostly process of elimination ATP, with so few people left. Quintus: Still some meh reads, leaning a bit towards elim? Idk. Probably just newbie stuff, but I'm paying attention to him. Gregor: Pretty quiet, but no RP. Some posts on game related stuff. I almost feel bad after what Wonko did last cycle. A little bad gut read. Basically the same as last time. Stick: ??? Started noticing them this cycle, and I think he's avoiding talking. Somewhat participatory, but mostly RP and agreeing with whatever people say. Slight bad read. Priam: Lopen has been accused of being quiet, and I'm not sure what to make of him. He has been on since the cycle was posted, but he has not posted yet. Idk. Netral read, leaning towards elim. Good Reads Section: Khazad: Started the lynch today, and worked on good reasons for it. I'd tend to trust Len RN, but we'll see. Nirgal: Sheep seems to be acting pretty much as he has in previous games I've played with him. He's posted a few times this cycle, and has cheered Len. I see him watching this topic, so I'll expect some sort of reply, but I'm pretty sure he's village. Tenebrum: Very quiet. Some few posts, I'm going to guess that Chaos is going to go the same route as Burnt, becoming a sorta-lurker. Neutral read, in the good section because I'm leaning towards that. The Jackal: Some gut reads towards village, participating in lynch somewhat, really quiet. Jefry: Mostly RP. Some discussion. Quiet this cycle and last. Idk. Good read. So, we have only 12 people left. Most of the people left have been really quiet, so discussion is probably going to stagnate soon. I've never survived this long before, so I'm hoping to survive a game for once, but I'm also unsure as to what I should do at this point. I have aquired a pulseShield, so I'm no longer worried about death too much, but I'm worried that the elims will be able to kill us before we can kill them. It'd be nice if some of the people with ionBlades had survived, but they didn't, so we'll have to be careful with lynches. I'm not sure about DA, but his cavalier manner makes me think he has protection, so I wonder if we should lynch him or not. I'll be back later with some RP, if I can muster up the energy.
  13. One of those is right. It's the last one.
  14. I'm pretty sure the correct color is This, but I could be wrong.
  15. Rae. She asked me to give the points I had against her.
  16. The vote on Bugsy seemed like bussing a fellow Elim early on. Then, when everyone jumped on with you, it would have been hard to get off. So you just stayed on, and soft-cleared yourself. When I accused you of this, you did not respond. When more people did the same, you still did not respond, however, you did post other things. You say it was because you were not on much, but I don't know. You did post things after I said that. Maybe you missed it? Still a bad gut read, plus initial suspicions. You mostly (until recently, after I pointed it out) just posted RP, and stated that you thought Lopen was being quiet because he was an elim, because he had not posted a lot. I think this was maybe the first or second cycle, so that seemed odd to me. You said a few other game related things, but they seemed to just be questioning the Julii plan once, and that was really it. You said you would kill Wonko with an ionBlade, so we could lynch someone else. I thought this was an OK idea at the time, but if you were an Elim, you could just have easily not done anything and claimed role blocked. We never really got to see what happened there, but you pushed for a second kill, which seemed odd, but that never happened either. Just an odd turn of events. Elbereth tried to kill you. I trust Elbereths judgement, usually, so this was big for me. I know confirmed good does not mean confirmed right, but it's just another piece of this analysis. Doc, Burnt and I all stated you seemed trigger happy yesterday. Apparently not, because you did not end up making a kill, but maybe you were just trying to draw attention to yourself? That seems somewhat village, but I still am wary of you RN. Plus, you jumped on Jondesu, and so did Elenion, which was really odd. Trigger happy, again. Looking for someone to kill. You sort of overreacted to my statement of suspicion on you, which was odd, but I'm willing to let that pass because I did that in a couple of games. A few people have agreed with me. When people agree with my suspicions, I tend to feel more confident. That's why I've kept going on this, at least in part. I think that's it. There might be more, but I'm not sure. I'll try to get some RP done later.
  17. I'm not sure what to think of the fact that I'm on none of these lists. I don't exist anymore, guys. Well, I suppose I had better make one of these lists. They seem to be the in thing. Brown-Piercing: Some odd vibes. Haven't really payed much attention to them, TBH, but they seem to be one of the people who are just posting RP, although they have answered the call to discuss, and have said a few things. Honestly, I tend to have some trouble reading DA. Danii: I have some good reads on Danish, for a few reasons, Spartacus: I've been very happy with Doc this game. One of my most trusted reads, everything seems to be pointing towards them being good. In my most paranoid moments, I wonder if he set it up with Bugsy to reveal that as a soft-clear, but it seems stretched. Everything that Doc has done has been helpful to the village. The Jackal: Basically just RP. I've had gut reads towards village, but they are pretty neutral RN, between everything he has done. Lucius: Best guy ever. Trust always. He's so cool. Sanis: Pretty obviously Elim. I want him dead right now, so I can move on to other things. Quintus: As far as Jondesu goes, I have extremely strong, violent readings of... meh. I've had some really conflicting reads here, but I'm taking it as some newbie stuff going on. He's mostly taken advice from people on how to play, RPed a bit, and seems like he's trying to be helpful(?) Done some slightly off things, but mostly a meh reading. Nirgal: Sheep seems to be acting pretty much as he has in previous games I've played with him, but he's been somewhat quiet. I think I'm getting village, but he tends to stay pretty neutral whatever alignment he has. Stick: ??? I don't remember anything they've done. Off my radar entirely, be that as it may. Tenebrum: Khazad: Has been oddly quiet for how he usually plays. However, when I've checked, he's been off the shard entirely for long periods, so I assume RL stuff. Neutral read. Gregor: Pretty quiet, but no RP. Some posts on game related stuff, mostly a neutral read, a little bad gut read. Priam: Lopen has been accused of being quiet already, and that (supposedly?) is a bit of an Elim tell for him, but I haven't played with him enough. Seems ok besides that. Tia: Vaguely bad readings. I wouldn't mind lynching her, but don't feel strongly enough start it this or next cycle. Nyanah: My reads on Rae have been clearly stated. Jefry: Mostly RP. Some interesting discussion. Fairly good read. I've not put LivingLegend or Straw on this list because they both are quiet because of RL reasons. I don't think it's right to put reads on them.
  18. I have a problem with this statement. I'll get to that when I respond to the rest of your post, which strikes me as somewhat overreactive. Paragraph 1: The basis of this paragraph seems to be that I am basically hopping off of the 'confirmed village is confirmed right' wagon onto a 'lynch Rae' wagon. This is not what has happened. The main subject of my suspicions of you have been what I said cycle two and one. The lynch of Bugsy seemed really odd, and your statements about it seemed off. Then later, you still did not defend yourself, and my suspicions increased when other people said they have been getting similar vibes. This on top of a bad gut read combined with some creepy analysis. You still did not respond. You've dealt with that part of my suspicions to some extent now, however, the bad read is still there. And, you jumped onto not one, but both of Elbereths suspicions. (Besides yours, of course.) I merely expounded on my bad read of you, following someone who I personally trust, trying to kill you. That doesn't look good, let me tell you. Paragraph 2: I don't have a bad read on Sheep. As said in my previous statements, I pointed to you, because someone that I trust, after having been confirmed – By death! – to be a villager, tried to kill you. I've had bad feelings from the start, but that made it worse. I'm now paranoid because you have an ionBlade, which you did not use, and because I still don't have a real protection item. Paragraph 3: Like I said, I'm rather annoyed with you for taking the stance that I'm making confirmed good confirmed right. I'm not, I'm just taking the word of someone I trust, along with the data I've compiled, to try and find lynchees for next cycle, because I'm pretty sure we no longer have a scanner. I'm making discussion, which is working, and I've gotten you to make more posts to analyze. And finally, if you want more points against you, say so. I can call them up from previous cycles, and give you whats still in my head. I'm not going to say whether or not I was trying to articulate something to the GM, because I'm not entirely sure what you mean. One part of that sentence was clarifying to Rae that the only reason I'm not accusing her is because I think that we should kill the target from last cycle. I think Wonko needs to die, so I'm cheering you instead of randomly starting another duel. It doesn't make sense. That's part of what I was saying. I also would like to see a little more of Jondesu, but that's true of most of the just-RP'ers. I wish we had a little more discussion, as I said in my earlier post. I have brought up things to talk about, I think, but I'll do it more later. I won't be back on for a few more hours, and I don't have time to continue RN.
  19. I forgot that Rae was Nyanah. I mixed up the Tia and Nyanah, for whatever reason. You weren't attacked, as far as I know. In that case, everyone forget what I said about a vigilante.
  20. I don't like D1 lynches. And I'm still suspicious of you, by the way. And, I'm not the only one who seems to be suspicious of you now. It's slightly odd that the most trusted villager not only did not trust you, but tried to kill you. I'm going to cheer for Bard, because I think we should kill someone who has been declared evil by a proven villager, and has said so themselves, but I think that if things were just a bit different I think I'd be accusing Rae. You haven't really even defended yourself from the accusations that have been made on you, which strikes me as odd. Also, you have pointed to the same two people as suspicious as the most trusted villager. And, the things I said earlier about you still apply as well. And, because the Julii plan is now basically disabled, I think it might be good to focus on our analysis of players. K. Now I'm basically done talking about Rae. On to other topics that have been discussed this cycle, and things that are important which have not. I would like to know who attacked Burnt? Rae says she did not, and it looks like there were two kills last cycle. So, we have a vigilante on our hands. Lovely. I hate vigilantes. I would like to continue discussing the things that have happened today, but it looks like there have been annoyingly few. With my absence, El's death, and the general quietness of the other players, there has been so little real discussion today. So, guys, even though we already have a Lynchee from last cycle, that does not mean that we should not talk. We have an additional 24 Hours, and we'll need to fill that up. Discuss! edit; Just realized I double posted. Sorry. I didn't think I'd put this together so fast.
