  1. I actually don't mind lynching Sheep. I don't see a problem with it, and it will gain us more through information then we'll get in protection late game, in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if he's asking them in his GM PM, and then asking them again here to do some weird suspicion allaying or info redirecting stuff. Like, he finds out things in his GM PM, then asks only select ones here in order to lead us astray. Alv is an Elim, confirmed. Seriously, though, I wouldn't be surprised. It could just be a way of revealing proven, instant, info, no questions. It makes sense, to an extent.
  2. I thought El was evil as well. But I'm not so sure any more, especially since you seem to be parodying my suspicions, to some extent.
  3. Not sure obsession is the right word there. It seems a bit over the top, considering. You're right about activity, though, at least partially. Confirmed active does not mean confirmed good. But the unjust can also afford to lurk. They can just sit back and watch us kill each other while we target the only active people; villagers. So while I do like to focus on people I can hear, I can't always do what I want, because sometimes the Elims are lurking. And, right now, Arinian's imprisonment doesn't really trump killing inactives in my book. I realize this isn't a reason for imprisoning quiver, however, so I will take my vote off of him. I don't have a problem with your reasoning on that last bit, either.
  4. I'm actually going to vote for quiver, because I don't want to see an active player put in prison for reasons I can't quite see. Would someone mind telling me why we're trying to lynch Arinian? I can't quite see it.
  5. Balthazar ran up the screaming creatures back. It was flailing wildly now, and had sustained more damage than he had ever seen on one creature. He knew what he had to do. Placing his feet and practically dancing up it, he reached the top of the creatures head. As it arced upwards, he pulled his two swords off of his back, and jumped straight into it's gaping maw. He shot straight past the rows of teeth, and into it's giant stomach. And it was very dark. Well, at some later point I'll have to get out of this somehow. That'll be fun to write. I may retroactively add more description to this.
  6. Lol. That's hilarious. That gave me a much needed laugh.
  7. There were like 3 people up here last I checked. By all means, join us.
  8. The question is, will this actually do anything to it? How big is the outcropping/Chasmfiend?
  9. Balthazar heard shouting as he scrambled up the Fiends leg. He looked down to see the blind man scrambling beneath it's many chitinous appendages. That man was going to get himself killed! Balthazar opened his mouth to say something, but heard someone else yelling. "Hithon, Move!" "Blind man!" "Hithon!" Balthazar sighed with relief as Hithon dodged, just in time, and began to climb up the chasm fiend. Well, now even more people were riding this crazy beast. Balthazar grinned. This day just kept getting better.
  10. How odd. Balthazar had circled around it. I suppose I should have notified someone. Ah well. These things happen. Balthazar had, by the time he heard someone shout; 'Go!', already made his way to the far right of the Chasmfiend. The sudden noise and action caused it to turn it's head, and Balthazar began to run. He felt adrenaline surge through him – it was just like the old days. But now, he felt something else, as well. Something... More. It flowed through him, giving him strength. He smiled. He stalked it, his newfound energy giving him the speed and endurance to stay behind it while it focused on the charge. Someone had vaulted onto it's head... Balthazar frowned. That was what he had planned to do. Well, the attack seemed to be going quite well. Balthazar had reached it's back legs by now, but the creature was going crazy. Someone had climbed onto it's head... And thrown something into one of it's eyes. The creature was flailing. Now how was he supposed to reach it? He sighed. He began to run towards one of it's back legs, which was on it's downward arc. Hopefully, he would be able to make his way onto it's back. And then things could get interesting.
  11. You know, I'm going to just go sit in a corner and cry. -sigh- You can interpret that as either Carmichael or me; It's pretty accurate either way. Sorry, Assassin.
  12. This is so sad. That's some really good RP there, Assassin. I was moved. Nice job.
  13. Ok. To be honest, I've been thinking about taking a break too. Yeah. That's awful. I would take my vote off of you, but I'm not sure I can just sit here wondering about your alignment. -sigh-
  14. I... Don't know about this. I suppose with enough stormlight, it's possible that you could just eat up the impact. And Stormlight does increase endurance and things? Huh. I didn't think of that.
  15. Honestly, this attitude is making me sad. And I'm seeing it quite a bit lately. Most village lynches aren't going to be on an Elim, because we don't have all the info. Getting lynched as a villager happens to everyone. It happened to me quite a bit when I had just started playing. If you don't like being lynched, defend yourself! Right now, all I've seen you do is say that I shouldn't follow STINK, say that you're a smoker (Did you already say this?), and use this to say that you can't be an elim because Elims are mistborn, and complain that you get lynched a lot as a villager. Admittedly, I don't know if you're an Elim or not, but I'm not seeing a lot of evidence against it. As for 'You guys seem intent on lynching me', I think there are only three people trying. I will be sorry if you're a villager, Assassin. And I hope you don't quit SE because of this. I'll take partial credit for mis-lynch if you're a villager, because I haven't been paying enough attention. -sigh-
  16. Well, if some players don't end up RPing until later, like I did last cycle, they can always retroactively put something in. It limits the aspect of working together, though, so I think it'd be best to get as many people as possible. We've got days. I, for one, don't mind waiting an hour or so.
  17. Actually, I said I thought you were suspicious earlier. @STINK, I wouldn't mind hearing why you're suspicious of Assassin, though.
  18. Storms. I was going to do that. I may or may not decide to jump in it's mouth. And then tear my way out from the stomach. With my teeth. RP begins: Some time near the present... Balthazar slowly walked up to the edge. The chasm went quite a ways down, but about thirty feet to the left, and a little more than half the way down was a small ledge. He'd have to be careful, but... "Well, I'm not going to be the last one off." said Balthazar, to the air. "I'll see you at the bottom." And then he jumped. With less than a foot between himself and the chasm wall, Balthazar made certain not to so much as touch the wall, for fear of pushing himself further out. Glancing down, he saw the ledge hurtling towards him. Grimacing, he flexed his legs... and slammed into the ledge. It broke his fall, and he could feel his legs threatening to shatter, but the plating on his shins helped to absorb the damage. Still, his leg muscles tore, and he flipped backwards off of the ledge, his fall only partially broken. He spun about, using his momentum to twist himself into a nearly upright position. And then... The ground hit him. There was no other way to say it. Balthazar was certain he hadn't hit the ground, but it had definitely sucker punched him. Balthazar coiled his legs, trying to absorb as much of the fall as possible, and rolled. He slammed his arms into the ground, and his wrists shattered. But his legs were working. Ahaha, his legs were working. He inhaled deeply, and stood. Slowly, his wrists healed, and he began to walk towards the Chasmfiend. RP ends. I seriously considered landing on Kintas or Ranatar, but decided it might not be the nicest thing to do.
  19. Me? I went inactive/quiet for a bit. Did you mean to type Mage, not Mate?
  20. No worries. I actually didn't mind at all, since it's partially my fault that I didn't get to responding in time. Plus, it made for an interesting dynamic. Begin RP. Some time ago, somewhere fairly close by... "I suspect, however, that for this question, addressing two people is fortunate. Czarn, what is your take on the matter?" Balthazar looked up. "Along the many paths I have traveled, I have learned that the situation is rare that cannot be dealt with better with many. I, for one, will not say no to having good men besides me, and I will defend those who defend me. No man should be left to be devoured, especially by a Chasmfiend. As far as mending your garments..." Balthazar looked down at his own clothes, and laughed. "Well, as you can see from my clothing, I am sure that whoever Teresh suggests is likely better than I." "And I do hope the Captain was joking about that Greatshell." Some time after that... "Ah. So he wasn't joking." Balthazar commented, from his vantage point on the cliff. "Poor fellow." He continued, looking down at the man the Captain had pushed off. "We should probably go do something about him." End RP. This ought to be fun. Nice writeup, Aman.
  21. I'm also going to vote on Assassin in Burgundy. I've been suspicious of him for a bit, and I don't mind seeing him dead. I kind of wonder why Stink is so suspicious of Assassin, and would like to see more on that, but I don't see any cons in lynching him, and I'm not certain about the other lynches.
  22. I have to agree with Alvron on this one. This is also partially why I'm saving up my Honor, as little as it is. I'd rather hold up my Honor and spend it all to make sure I get the spren I want, then be careful and get no Spren at all. This does, of course, only works really well if everyone else doesn't do this, so Alv, by all means spend your Honor. This line made me laugh. Thanks. I needed a laugh. Well that's not creepy at all. Guys, we've got to stop Alv at all costs. Otherwise he'll just stab us all to death with a living shard blade. That's what I'm getting from him. Earlier that day... Balthazar sat in his quarters, feeling his tongue. How odd. He wouldn't have thought it would grow back that quickly. Balthazar sighed, and looked down at the task before him. Of the many things he had learned to do in his various employments, sewing was his least favorite. He looked at his uniform. It really wasn't what he was used to. Well... The arms were almost gone anyway, so... rip There. That would work better. A few hours later, Balthazar's uniform, not only lacking a good deal of it's original fabric, was a good deal thicker, supposedly more durable – under the philosophy that adding stitching and patching to everything made things more durable – and rather more rugged in every way. Balthazar smiled. Perfect. Just Right.
