Does the Shardpool need to be connected to a shard? A Shardpool is basically a collection of liquid Investure. The pool in Sixth of Dusk is also like this, a pool of Investure not connected to a Shard.

Wasn't every region beyond the most distant Dominances basically a desert or worse? That would probably end off any empire that lives there.

Since when do we have metals that aren't part of the default sixteen or god-metal alloys?

Jasnah and Renarin won't be doing a lot in the coming book. We maybe see a bit about their orders, but they won't do too much because they aren't the main characters in these five books. More Radiants will come to Urithiru, but the influx of numbers will cause internal arguments between the orders (and maybe individuals) because of the differences between their oaths. The leaders of the Radients will learn about the true nature of the Cosmere, or at least the part that is of influence to their situation on Roshar. The first five books will end with the Desolation being won, but Odium still in power. They will win through a fight between champions, but because of this weird manner of winning (and maybe a deal/trick with Odium to give them more time) the Desolation will continue/a new one will come in the next five books.

And odium would perhaps look into Shallan if she suddenly pops up out of nowhere as a fully fledged radiant, and while examining her past he would probably find Hoid, and get mad at him (just stating the obvious).

IIRC when Sazed stored steel he felt really sluggish, but his mind was still working normally. So I would guess that everything would still seem to pass at the same speed for you, but everyone (probably including you) would think you were moving in slow motion.

Yeah, gold compounding probably wouldn't work, but I think that using Regrowth on the victim would work.
