  1. Thanks. There aren't really any other characters yet
  2. Thanks man
  3. Wow. That's the first time I've ever achieved a down vote. let me go cry, brb
  4. I'm writing a short story and have become concerned about the lack of female characters. I'm planning to introduce three later on, but I'm 7500 words in and there have been nearly no females. Is that an immediate turn off for reading if you're a female?
  5. I know I missed a lot. It only lets me have twenty questions. I also based it on likeliness that a Sanderson fan would live there- not population.
  6. Wow. That was perhaps better than most prologues to actual books I have read. I'd edit for you. I mean I', not a professional or anything but it would be nice to makes some cash when you're making millions of writing. Best of luck, and PM me if you need beta readers.
  7. Wow. I like that. Do we have a specific WoB on being more powerful?
  8. Well, preservation is my fav. idk why, it's just that we get the biggest look at him and he is hilarious. Not what you would expect at all.
  9. Okay so there's a scene where alcatraz starts adding random punctuation and crap. The problem? Idk which book it's in. I have a 4 in one copy and cannot find it to save my life. So yeah. Which book is it in, and if possible, which chapter
  10. Trampled. Quicker Death. Would you rather have an epic with steelheart's skill set, or a steel compounder?
  11. You know, I'm not a huge fan of Elantris. it was his first book, and it shows. The plot just felt a little disjointed and the only character a gave a spike about was roaden.
  12. I once saw something about this so I sat down to do the math. At the current rate, Stormlight 3 took three years, and that without, say, Nightblood (Warbreaker Sequel) or Mistborn era 3 to get in the way. The fair way to adjust this is to add a year, in my estimation. SO, 4 years a starlight book and 7 left, that's 28 years. Brandon's birthday is December 19th 1975, (Coincidentally one day off my own day, but quite a few years off). That makes him 41. At this rate, that makes stormlight 10 finished when he is 70. which is worrying. It is worrying because after that we need the grand conclusion. Here's to hoping-
  13. I was referencing wheel of time, which was finished by Brandon and has a large fanbase who are into both
  14. i watched this (3 times) and Luke's words concern me. its kind of like how J.k rowling misunderstood the geodes character rule of breaking in half to see what there made of and instead crushing her characters into a 16 pieces.
  15. because personally i think we'll get in like 2 pages and alcatraz will throw a fit and say she's doing it wrong and write the rest of the books.
  16. Welcome. I am but a infant, perhaps mother Sprinkles or father Kobold will welcome you properly. .
  17. ....there is a table of contents for a list of questions lol
  18. I have this happen with a lot of my friends who say Mistborn is "too big" and while that makes me question the quality of reader they are, I enjoy talking to them about Reckoners
  19. Okay i got really scared when you said Syls death but then i was like nah fam Oathbringer doesn't come out for months. After that thought i sat in the corner and cried
  20. If so, who's you favorite Doctor and why? 10th because he's cool. Idk He's just awesome. Who's your favorite companion and why? Clara because she's so nice and balances 12 out so well. What's your favorite story arc? you know i liked the River Song arc
  21. Seriously, we are one of the weirder fandoms. For example: -our most revered character is a small piece of wood -the learning curve isn't evident until you've fallen off of it (Cosmere only) -We can claim ownership/partnership with an entirely separate fandom (WoT) -We don't argue about which book is the best -Or which character. Because of said Stick Why else are different and more awesome than other fandoms?
  22. I glance around the wiki, powered by fandom. The page hasn't been updated in years, let alone weeks. I turn, then, to the best website on the internet. I am back, shaders. Receive me well, I pray. Edits range from hours to seconds. Dedicated fans surround me. I smile slightly. i have returned from my hiatus.
  23. Huh. Always thought it was Kaladin with the spear and Dalinar. Oh well, learn something new every day.
  24. I understand Brandon taking time to write novellas helps his sanity, but what about mine? I haven't read a full length Brandon Sanderson novel since yesterday (Reread Mistborn). This is why I try to stay off the shard in between books. It's so PAINFUL.
