I always thought that animals like Chasmfiends and Rockbuds, which are very large, were only possible with such low gravity. You're probably right about the horses though, they don't seem very Rosharian. Why Yolen though? Are there even horses on Yolen?
-
Welcome to the forums hoidydoidy! Why do you think that the Ryshadium are related to the horses from Yolen? It's possible, but I don't think it's likely. Since Roshar only has .7 earth gravity, the Ryshadium look a lot like Roshar animals, I think. They grow more due to the lack of gravity.

Ah! Good to know. That makes a lot of sense as their investiture systems are not at all related.

There is a WOB saying that Sel and Threnody are in the same system! Here is the thread... http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/53260-an-interesting-wob-on-sel-and-threnody/

Nightblood doesn't really know what evil is, I think. That's why he would kill him. Also, he has negative investiture so would be perfect for destroying a shard. He could take some of the shards investiture and move it out of the cosmere.

That's true, but did they know that? Do you think that Honor and Cultivation decided that they were opposite legal systems, and so they should go to the same world? It's possible, but I don't think that the Shards made decisions based on those types of ideas.

So, is Moelach causing the death rattles by getting inside of people's cracks? Wouldn't that mean that he is constantly inside of people's souls? He would have to be extremely powerful. Is it even possible to become that powerful?

The Radiants might be coming back because the voidbringers are coming back, or it might be the other way around. Or, maybe Nalan thinks that it's the other way around. Either way, the desolation would be blamed on them, and Nalan would want to kill them.

So shards that are opposite go to the same area? That makes sense, but what about Cultivation and Honor? For them, it was entirely the decisions of the vessels, with nothing to do with the shard's Intent.

The two magic systems are certainly very different. However, if you think about the fact that each shard is essentially a splintered Adonalsium, and Adonalsium could have easily splintered some other way, then if you bonded two shards, then splintered them, in the case of the Dor, then wouldn't you get splinters that are a combination of the two shards? For example, if you splintered Harmony, you wouldn't get splinters of Ruin and also splinters of Preservation, you would get splinters of Harmony.

From what we've seen, the Dor on Elantris is very unified. The Seons are mostly Devotion, and the Skaze is mostly Dominion, but the Aons, the Dakhor monks, and Forging use the Dor as a whole. Is it possible that the Devotion and Dominion are bonded like Preservation and Ruin? Hemalurgy is mostly Ruin, and Allomancy is mostly Preservation, kind of like the Skaze an the Seons. It's a very similar situation. Could this have something to do with the Ire?

Brandon plans his books ahead really well though - I think they are all going to mostly tie together, or at least he will make it seem like they should tie together, and it was his intention all along.

It's pretty likely, I think, that Odium is going to be killed by Nightblood, for a few reasons: 1: Nightblood is currently being held by somebody who is extremely obsessed with perfect Justice under the law. 2: Nightblood wants to destroy evil, and Odium is definitely evil. 3: Nightblood is in the Roshar system, as is Odium. 4: Szeth follows Nalan, so he's basically a Radiant (almost a Radiant), and the Heralds were supposedly exiled to Damnation, which is where Odium is.

It's actually pretty common I think for fantasy books to have powerful pigs in them, because they are so 'of the Earth' that they counter intuitively are powerful. The thing that you least expect to have power is powerful.

What is a member title exactly? How do you get one?

Nalan has shown himself to obsessed with pure justice, so I think he is still blaming the Radiants for betraying humanity. Long shot?

Maybe the current Rhysadiums are imperfect, kind of like a non-radiant's blade and plate. Just as a Radiant would never use a nonbonded shardblade, Kalidan really doesn't want to use a Rhysadium.

What is the strength enhancement of Shardplate?
Farnsworth replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
Makes sense, but wouldn't that require a bond with a minor spren? It would have to be a weak bond, because I don't think that unintelligent spren can make super strong bonds. Can they? -
All of Roshar is a single shell beast
Farnsworth replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Stormlight Archive
Would this omnibeast be at all related to the greatshells that Rysn sees? -
Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

Granted. Without the wondrous miracle of delicious tasting food to sustain you and preserve you throughout life, you become extremely bored with everything. I wish I could discover the meaning of life. -
Going back to before the strange interruption... The parshendi probably tie the gemstones on for a reason though. Why would the gemhearts in the Parshendi relate at all to the gravity spren?

Granted, but it is your member reputation rating on 17th shard (-25 to -99). I wish that I had unlimited access to delicious food.
