I went to a bookstore to get books for s trip. The guy who ran the fantasy section was slightly crazy for several reasons, including the fact that he claims to own over 2,000 books. He hates libraries for some reason. Maybe he rips up his books like Vin? Anyways, he gave me tFE and WoK and was actually really awesome. If you're on the site, I want to give you a huge thank you for giving me the cosmere!

If the screaming was coming from the voidspren, what is it upset about? Is it being used wrongly?

Maybe Parshendi die differently than humans, more like spren. When they die in battle, it's like their oath with their warspen is broken, and they permanently die. I dunno, just weird speculation.

Agreed. Shallan cannot afford to change the situation. what better motivation that "if you don't do this, everybody left of your family will likely die in a slave mine". Things don't go well for lords who don't pay their debts.

It says in WoK though that they leave the bodies of the dead on the battlefield, even after a victory. Maybe it has something to do with dying in battle?

There's that whole thing in vorinism about palindromes, so a symmetrical ending would make a lot of sense.

@ScavellTane While it's possible that humanity is the reason that Parshendi have many fewer forms than they used to, and that could certainly be due to humanity, I don't think that makes humans the Voidbringers. I'm pretty sure that we have confirmation that the Parshendi in Stormform are Voidbringers.

So I finished the series, and while the ending was FANTASTIC, I have a lot of questions. Now, I could look these all up, but instead I'm going to be extremely lazy and just ask them here. What is up with the saa in Rand's eye? Why is it different from normal ones? Why can Rand not reach Saidan? How did Rand light his pipe? Did his madness heal? Did his two wounds heal? How does he expect to travel the world inconspicuously with his heron marks, dragon marks, and saa? Why is he called the Dragon? I was expecting Dragons to cone into the story somehow, maybe in the form of that odd snake that is wrapped around the wheel at the end of each chapter, but it didn't. By the way, that ending was awesome.

Vin for sure! Otherwise I might get asked how I poop in my armor. That would lead to some awkward conversations. Would you rather live on Ashyn or Braize?
