  1. I think Dilaf. Though he seems like the kind of person who would play MOBAs' and scream angry profanities in voice chat online until he gets permabanned, he'd be very determined to rise in levels which would probably keep him hooked. Who would make the best wedding cake, Galladon or Teft
  2. You're not alone ...
  3. I'm envious, now you get to make witty insults to everyone! Edit: I'm a Grand? A grand ... what? A 1000 dollars? A grand personality? A grand pumpkin?
  4. When you have to focus real hard to not abandon your current portfolio piece in favor of a mistborn fanart that has been brewing in your mind for some weeks ...
  5. This! I only have one shelf for this, but I've packed all of the paperback versions in there pretty tight. So tight you have to struggle to get them out. My mom used to have about half a bookshelf just packed with Wheel of Time when I was a kid. It's 24 ish books in swedish translation ...
  6. Whenever they mention spicy curries in Stormlight I imagine them sort of as my favorite spicy curry from Thailand. So, I'm gonna say Rosharan/Alethi(?) curry, whatever that actually means. But I guess I wouldn't be allowed to eat it since it's man-food in Vorin lands.
  7. Meta con. I guess I'll have to rage a vendetta ... Against myself ..? Uh
  8. I am now at risk from being killed by Kelsier whoops. Interesting, since I was just recently "crew leader"?
  9. Lift. Clod would at least be moderately quiet and calm. Life would be sliding on tables and stealing the other guest's food, then sneak into the kitchens if she was thrown out. Who would be the better hair dresser, Pattern or Wyndle?
  10. Mistborn 1 would've been a lovely film to start off with; mostly because it's a bit more easily digested for a larger audience than I think Stormlight might be as a movie. Stormlight is a lot of politics and history and intricate worldbuilding and would get a bit awkward compressed as one movie, I think. Mistborn's story (at least book 1) follows a bit more of a "movie" plot pace i'd say. Also, that ash+red sun aesthetic would make for some really cool shots haha. Only problem is ... well, there's a lot of flying fights and insane martial arts and flashy magics involved in both. I hope they have a really impressive CG team, stuntmen, and a ton of budget :I I'm so afraid they'd make a fight and it comes out looking like a very old kung-fu movie. While those are cool, I'm not sure I want to see Vin or Kal in that style. A Wax and Wayne movie would be amazing because
  11. Cool to find a fellow Swede. My question is: What is your opinion on kebabpizza? And also what is your favorite Cosmere book?
  12. Mistborn Era 2:
  13. Kaladins determination is something I find comforting to read and be reminded of: I guess the lesson is "Don't let yourself give up, even when you want to and think you deserve to." That you gotta grit your teeth and roll out of bed regardless.
  14. Whoops missed a page lol. Ham, Dalinar wouldn't duel! Who would win in a Magic the Gathering tournament, Kelsier or Hoid?
  15. Teft, Wayne would get bored too quickly, or get into trouble with the land owner somehow. Who would be the better ballet dancer, Vin or Sarene?
  16. Pick a power!
  17. I'll make sure to be nice to the kids. To be honest, I'll probably be afraid of them. Also, it's funny how this rank-promotion coincides with my writing that "I am hope" thing in the "You know you're a Sanderfan when..."-thread
  18. Crew leader, neat. Now if only I knew what crew I'm leading.
  19. I can kinda see Shallan going the Jasnah path and deciding that she doesn't need to marry if she can get away with it, sweeing as she currently does mostly for "business" reasons. It seems more likely to me she'll end up with Kaladin, but I don't like the idea really. Mostly because I'm not fond of two main characters getting involved like that and for fear that it will become a story about this overly powerful couple / "love conquers all" rather than their individual traits and stories I guess.
  20. When you mess up saying "I'm hoping" and "I hope" and end up saying "I am hope." And then follow it by shouting "HASHTAG KELSIER"
  21. One fantasy loving friend of mine read Way of Kings and was not particularly fond of it. I think it's because he's a bit less into fantasy politics and worldbuilding and more into cool, grand fantasy battles and snappy humor if I am to judge his earlier choices. I think the whole Kaladin-being-a-slave-buildup kinda deterred him from enjoying the rest of the book sadly. I should mention I told him to read Wax and Wayne and he seems a bit more interested in that, but is not really into reading Era 1 for the foundation so he hasn't gotten into it.
  22. Oh my god, Eragon! I nearly forgot. He got stranger and stranger as the books progressed. And the elf-woman in those books too (I'm really bad with names, uh).
  23. WoA. It was worth it times a million to get to book 3 though and have everything make sense, but a lot of felt like I was just reading with one eyebrow raised waiting for Vin to kick butt.
  24. Ginny Weasley. No good reason, I just really don't like her. She worked as a plot device in one book and definitely not as a character later on for me I guess. +1 on Zane. He added some points to the story but most of it was just ... too much crazy Zane. Nobody can like the Bolton bastard from GoT (his first name escapes me). I believe it is impossible.
  25. here's a new one already: when you need to look proper for company recruiters, and you've mindlessly scribbled allomantic symbols all over your hands (: Oh well it's art, I'm applying to do art. They should understand!
