  1. yes please. But yeah, I'm really curious about what planets might be involved come Mistborn era 4 (if any? I'm not up to date on this I think). It'd be interesting to see how the timelines line up too at that point, if there's a chance we'll get to see a world we know from earlier but perhaps at a much later stage and so on.
  2. Yo, I was told to come here by various people in my introduction post, so here I am! I draw and doodle, and my creations usually end up on tumblr (matchiine). Sometimes I do some 3D-art (was excited to see someone do 3D-stuff in blender here when I skimmed through!), though that's mostly reserved for projects and coursework right now, heh. If sewing is considered art I've been known to dabble in that too, and have been pondering the possibility of making a little cosmere fan-project in cloth one day ...
  3. The first time I heard about Brandon Sanderson was when my mother, who is a long time Wheel of Time-fan, read the last book in the series. I wasn't that into WoT though, I'd kinda lost hope in fantasy books for a while back then and read very little in my spare time. Then later my boyfriend came over and brought The Way of Kings with him. He recommended it to me with a comment along the lines of: "It's the kind of fantasy you'd like: it's got a unique setting and a cool magic system that makes sense." I recalled that it was the same author that had finished WoT and thought that "Yeah, this author seems to be pretty good, this book should be all right". So I decided to give WoK a shot, and I remember being instantly intrigued by the world and how different it was from anything else I'd read. It didn't take long before I realized that WoK was far beyond "all right", it was probably the best fantasy book I'd read. My old hunger for reading came back after that and I devoured WoR as soon as I was done with WoK, and then went on to the Mistborn books which made me find out about the Cosmere and ... then the rest of the Cosmere books followed. Aaand here I am.
  4. Thanks! And ... wait, so you're hemalurgical cookie-selling scouts, huh?
  5. Thank you! For both the art-comment and the stab, I guess. I suppose with such feruchemy I could art-block myself to draw upon great creativity later on? That could be really useful, seeing as I only get super-creative at the wrong times ... (like at 2 am and right before huge deadlines).
  6. Each tooth? That sounds quite extravagant. I guess I wouldn't say no to cool powers after all, hmm.
  7. Ah, yes, I've noticed cookies might be suspicious around here (though ... are they intended to grant me powers or steal my powers?) And I'll definitely check out the Guild of Arts!
  8. Hello! I've been lurking around reading posts here for a while, but I figured it's probably about time I introduce myself too. I discovered Brandon Sandersons books about a year ago when my boyfriend suggested I read The Way of Kings. After having read TWoK and TWoR I continued with the Mistborn books and found out about the Cosmere being a thing and thought it was amazing. I’ve now read most of the cosmere-related books, I think (haven’t gotten around to reading Sixth of the Dusk or Shadows for Silence yet though, but they’re definitely next!). I love reading Cosmere theories and get super excited whenever Hoid shows up. I sometimes doodle cosmere fanart when I have time, which tends to end up on my tumblr (it ain't much but here it is if anyone's interested!). So yeah, uh, hi! I hope to have some excited fandom conversations here with you all!
