  1. You’ve never watched Hocus Pocus?! It’s a lot of fun. I do have eczema, but was unaware of the other name until now. TPBM looked up atopic dermatitis out of curiosity.
  2. 1: This character first appeared in an unpublished book.
  3. I couldn’t remember which one had their house broken into... Mercystar. She’s orange.
  4. “You are one enslaving her,” Eryn noted. “Sovereign does not believe in this. We serve at will. Do not have to obey - not even him. Only not harm one another. That all must follow. Otherwise...” She shrugged.
  5. Isn’t Marasi a Survivorist? This could lead to a fascinating theological crisis...
  6. “Ah.” Eryn handed Zola one of the extra muffins. “This for him, too.”
  7. Eryn nodded. “Makes sense. Marie has many powers. Could help Sovereign much and Ett cannot control if she leave Scadrial.” Eryn nodded. “Is likely, while near. Wants Marie join him; she cannot do if enslaved, ja?”
  8. Mistborn Tarot: Harmony Not very surprisingly, this card features Harmony. He cradles Scadrial in his arms, guarding and protecting her. On his arms, fingers, and in his ears are copper metalminds, sybolizing his knowledge and wisdom. His stands on water and land, black and white mist swirling about him. The same colors appear on his symbol, indicating that he is both Ruin and Preservation united. Upright Harmony symbolizes Balance, Moderation, Patience and Purpose. Reversed it symbolizes Imbalance, Excess, Self-healing, and Realignment. Water and land symbolize that one must remain grounded, but must also go with the flow. Harmony cradles the globe, symbolic of Scadrial’s people and their ties to their world. Black and white swirl together at the peak of Harmony’s symbol, sybolizing how the two united become life. The blue in Harmony’s robes are the blue skies he restored. The green is for the green plants. Orange recalls the Copperminds Harmony utilized to restore the world. This card has seemingly always been called Harmony, even prior to the Ascension. As such, the modern association of this card with the Shard was all but inevitable.
  9. Eryn gazed at her in confusion. “Why save then?”
  10. I think Kelsier is probably experiencing mild effects when going from North to South Scadrial. It’s just enough for him to be aware of the change - and it TERRIFIES him.
  11. Eryn nodded thoughtfully. “He will not tell me,” she noted. “You may here, if wish. Or tell me on way to church.”
  12. Eryn watched Zola with concern. “Not need to worry about food now,” she assured her. “Do not need to save.” “Does not do that often,” Eryn noted. She frowned thoughtfully. “What Sovereign say to Marie?”
  13. Once she had everything, Eryn returned to the table. She put one tray in front of Zola and took the other for herself. “Now can eat. Not too fast; will make ill.” She turned to Ladashwy. “Went with Sovereign? What happen?”
  14. The Steward of Spears: The Steward card is also known as the Terrisman, hence the use of Bronze, or the Scadrian letter T. The Copper symbol in the upper left corner is used here as the letter D for Dockson, the Steward of this card. This card represents Ambition and Drive. Unlike some of the others, I do know exact how Master Dockson came to appear on this card, as I had the opportunity to ask Master Thaidakar about it. I can only hope that he is pleased with my research thus far. It seems Lord Kelsier was unhappy that his best friend was absent from the deck. Lord Spook decided to surprise The Survivor by creating a Dockson card for their personal decks. Once the Lord Mistborn began utilizing the card, the practice was quickly adopted and this version of the card has since become standard across the North and South of Scadrial. Out of Universe: There was a bit of a delay creating this card as I didn’t have a purple oil pastel. I had to wait until I got new cray-pas, which I now have. The next three cards should come sooner, as they’re already drawn. The person writing about these cards is a Ghostblood member researching various forms of divination in use across Cosmere cultures and whether or not there is a Spiritual component to any of them or if there is any manipulation of Fortune involved in the divining. The character is a Scadrian and she is part of a team researching this. Her name is Trésor, btw.
  15. “Wait with Sage,” Eryn instructed Zola. “I get food.” She headed over to the buffet, taking two bowls of sweet rice porridge, some thick brown bread, butter, scrambled eggs, a few slices of bacon, fresh juice and milk. She also took a muffin for each of them, and a few extra to bring to the Sovereign later. 2 of Spears:
  16. Eryn nodded, entering the mess. She glanced around, looking for Sage and Adilie. Spotting them at a corner table, she headed over to settle herself and Zola.
  17. “Is back,” Eryn corrected. “But not in inn. We will meet. AFTER breakfast.”
  18. Eryn smiled, heading toward the mess. “Sovereign will meet us in town. Drae, you come to meet.” @Lecky Twig
  19. Eryn took Zola’s hand, heading down the stair. ”Will meet him,” Eryn affirmed.
  20. Kelsier: (in a High Noble accent completely inexplicable to modern Scadrians) Finally! Something we agree on.
  21. Interesting thought. I don’t see Cultivation as including Endure because part of Cultivation is removing parts that don’t work. Nothing endures when you Cultivate. Instead everything is turned toward a new purpose. I see Cultivation and Endowment as working in similar, but very different ways. Cultivation works by shaping things so they grow in certain ways; Endowment works by providing encouragement for things to develop in particular matters. Essentially, Cultivation shapes you, while Endowment encourages you. Cultivation is a lot more deliberate; Endowment involves a lot more personal choice. I could see Cultivation as Change/Connect, swapping with Whimsy, as everything in a biosphere is connected. I could also see it as Change/Change, but Ruin really doesn’t fit most of the categories well. Random Two of Spears (incomplete):
  22. Kelsier, however, LOVES it when people do this.
