    When you call Brock Turner a chullhat on Facebook because you can't think of a non-obscene insult degrading enough to express your disgust for him. (Warning: if you haven't heard about Turner's trial already, it's a rape case, so... trigger warning if you decide to click that Wikipedia link.)

    I just spent 30 minutes reading that whole thing. It is now 12:30 am, and I have to get up at 7. XD Also, I did not see any ads.

    Well I still have yet to see the movie, sooooo.... I guess if I can handle the book, the movie should be a breeze?

    If you have CDs and a computer with a disc drive, you can "rip" the CDs to the PC as MP3 files and then load them onto a music player of your choice. Alternatively, if your car has a slot in which to stick a USB drive, you can put the MP3 files on a USB stick and plug it into your car. That's what I do for music; it means I never have to worry about the radio cutting out when I go on longer trips.

    After many many people recommended it to me, I have finally started reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas, and I'm enjoying it a lot so far. (28% in according to my Kindle's progress bar.)

    Why is it that everywhere I go, public bathrooms are stifling hot? Is there some law against running air conditioning in bathrooms? I can seriously spend 5 minutes in there doing nothing strenuous and be sweating when I come out. It makes using the toilet at Comic Con completely miserable because I'm already hot from wearing my cosplay, and although it's not quite as unpleasant at my job in the library, it's still obnoxious.

    When it comes to pizza, I'm happy with classic pepperoni. Other kinds of meats are also ok by me except the spicy kind of sausage; I can't handle spicy. But I hate pineapple as a general rule, so putting it on a pizza would completely destroy my desire to eat said pizza.

    Notice that StormingTexan said he expects book 10 to be 1700-ish pages, not book 3, based, I believe, on Brandon's current trend of writing each Stormlight book longer than the previous one. If each successive book is 50-100 pages longer than the one before, book 10 could totally be in the 1700-range.

    Yeah, I'd love to increase our meeting frequency. I feel like I don't get as much time as I'd prefer to just sit around talking with people who like the same kind of stuff that I do.

    I have now achieved the rank of Spinner, although I haven't the faintest idea how that relates to any of Brandon's books... XD All I can think of is the giant talking spiders in Suzanne Collins's Underland Chronicles because that's what they call themselves--spinners.
