  4. Oh, nice. Thanks and thanks!
  5. Where did you get that second picture from? It's awesome!
  6. Heal Cody, hurt Joel. 3. Cody--43 9. Joel--29 10. Melody--28 As for me, I'm absolutely in favour of @CalypsoDreaming's idea.
  7. Oooh, now that's interesting. Could there be some connection between "voidbinding chart" glyphs and Dawn Cities?

  9. The moment I saw the garage band image, I've been chuckling For maximum being-pelted-with-fruits value, I nominate Rock to play bagpipes. The horror! On another note, that's yet another post full of great art. Adolin's expressions are comedy gold, but gah, the headband! The headband continues to be a fatal fashion accessory for Kaladin, as far as I'm concerned. With Urithiru, I suspect my "fat unicorn horn" concept is incorrect, mostly because of what you've noted - it doesn't look all that aesthetically pleasing, all things considered. I suspect the terraces might be partially, or even mostly hidden beneath the upper floor's ceiling, which would make the entire thing slightly less pyramid-like. Still, a helluva achievement for Roshar-level society. Makes me wonder how many generations of Radiants were involved in making the thing, or if it was something the Heralds or even Tanavast & Cultivation themselves constructed. I admit I'm going to disagree with you as to Kaladin, mostly for the same reasons Djarskublar stated. To each their own, I suppose, but I find him neither annoying nor implausible.
  10. @Evenstrom, thank you so much for this! That's some interesting information you've fished out, especially considering magic translation. Also, this: How many threads did we have speculating about her identity? Three? Five? More?

  15. Is it just me who feels like we're going in circles again? The only difference between this and my last post is literally just one point that jumped from Joel to Melody. Anyways, hurt Joel, heal Stephen. 3. Cody--40 9. Joel--26 10. Melody--28 17. Stephen Leeds--6

  18. I have to ask this question also, I don't recall seeing that phrase before. I have seen "the ship has sailed", though, meaning that something happened that makes people start shipping a particular ship. And, of course, my favourite "launcher of a thousand ships", meaning the person who gets shipped with everyone. In Cosmere case that'd probably be Kaladin. Oh, and "ships that pass in the night", AKA shipping two people who's never shared pagetime together. Kaladin and Jasnah, in this case.
  19. Seems like I'm fighting for a dying cause... oh, well, I shall soldier on. Hurt Joel, heal Stephen. 3. Cody--32 9. Joel--27 10. Melody--28 17. Stephen Leeds--13

  21. Could it be that honorblades don't bestow such abilities on a person while Radiant blades do? Even without his blade, Taln could easily move much faster than human being and snatch poison darts mid-flight. Heralds seem to be augmented beyond capabilities of normal humans, so they could be capable of Stormlight-healing on their own. If so, then presumably there'd be no point adding the same ability to the honorblade, which could be why Kaladin can heal Shardblade wounds and Szeth cannot.

  23. Investiture healing appears to be working based on self-image and sense of identity. If Kelsier's spirit possessed a body, it could be that his ingrained self-image of having scarred arms (which do form a huge part of his personal identity, being connected to his time in the Pits) caused the body to "heal" appropriately. On another note, upvote for that catch! I completely missed that line, and it seems to imply that Kelsier is, indeed, not on Scadrial at the moment. Either that or him and Sazed don't feel the need to converse all that much, which would be quite strange.

  25. Hence why I mentioned the possibility that Shalash may become a Dustbringer, which could be interesting - she presumably knows all the theory, but with Dustbringers and Lightweavers sharing no surges whatsoever, she'd have to unlearn and re-learn a lot of stuff.
