No idea behind the first part, but as for the latter, it's a story about Lift, taking place after her interlude in WoR. She's apparently saving some buddying Skybreaker from Nale. Every Cosmere world represented in the story will have an introduction penned by Khriss. The book also comes with a Shadesmar/Cognitive Realm map of the Cosmere, showing relative positions of all its worlds - also an in-universe document. The map will probably be far more readable and intelligible in paper form than on an e-reader screen. So... I guess you'll just have to judge for yourself whether you'll find it a worthwhile purchase.

I don't know... I admit, I'm with marianmi on this one, I think the last two oaths are about leading. Maybe something like "I will not abandon those in need" and "I will be a good example to those under my command" (<- needs fancier phrasing). Regarding the first one, Kaladin might feel the need to simply lead the people of Hearthstone to the nearest safe-ish town and then rush to Urithiru or Kholinar. As for the latter... I don't know, it just sounds like a "leading" kind of thing.

When I tried making it guess Hoid, at first it thought I was talking about Anomander Rake for some reason It did manage to guess him on its second try, though. It still can't guess Allik, but at least when I typed in his name, it did know it.
-
Whoa, I did not expect Hoid to be offed so early, let alone first @Tariniel, Baon is "Blunt" from the Purelake interlude. Heal Nazh, hurt the Terriswoman. 1. Khriss - 9 2. Nazh - 7 3. Galladon - 4 4. Demoux - 5 5. Baon - 5 6. Vasher - 6 7. Nightblood - 6 8. Iyatil - 6 9. Felt - 6 10. The Ire - 5 11. "WalDo" - 8 12. The Nalthis Terriswoman - 3

Hello and welcome to the new round of Hurt and Heal - this time, with 100% more Hoid! Here's the rules: When you post, pick one person to hurt and one person to heal. You take 1 point from the person you hurt, and add it to the score of the person you heal. Bold your choices Wait 10 minutes and at least two posts before you post again Every character starts with 5 points, and is elliminated when s/he reaches 0. When only two characters are left, we hurt and heal by 2 points, as to not prolong the game unnecessarily Let us begin, then. I'll start with hurting Hoid and healing... Nazh. 1. Hoid - 4 2. Khriss - 5 3. Nazh - 6 4. Galladon - 5 5. Demoux - 5 6. Baon - 5 7. Vasher - 5 8. Nightblood - 5 9. Mraize - 5 10. Iyatil - 5 11. Felt - 5 12. The Ire - 5 13. "WalDo" (the mystery Kandra worldhopper) - 5 14. The Nalthis Terriswoman - 5 The total sum of points is 70. If I've missed someone, feel free to add them!

I guess I could? But which one? Because if it's up to me, I'd go with worldhoppers.
-
Hmmm...

I recall seeing a similar discussion once, and someone suggested an interesting possibility that the dream was Nightwatcher's curse beginning to slip off Dalinar thanks to his Nahel bond. I'm not quite sure if it's likely - or possible - but it's an interesting option. Then again, it could be simply a dream showing that he's finally managed to deal internall with his brother's death, with maybe glimpses of Shadesmar 'bleeding through', so to put it.
-
Interesting! I wonder, could Silverlight be the "Restaurant at the End of the Cosmere", AKA the worldhopper colony?
-
That was a nice game, even if I wasn't there for the ending I like @CalypsoDreaming's idea of worldhoppers - it'll certainly be much easier to decide than Cosmere objects (though that sounds interesting as well).

Sure looks like it... Heal First of the Sun, hurt Roshar. 3. First of the Sun--16 5. Roshar--39

I've just managed to stump it with Marasi. For some reason it kept on asking me about vampire novel tropes. It also couldn't guess Tanavast, though I suppose it was on the right track with all the gods it was suggesting. And it still can't get Allik, either.

In Soviet Roshar, beginner Radiants are hunting down Nale! Also in Soviet Roshar: gemhearts harvest you!
-
As an ardent, he's irrelevant-colour-eyes. Nevertheless, a minor, everyone-probably-knows spoiler:
-
Gah, I knew this would happen. Heal First of the Sun, hurt Roshar. 3. First of the Sun--165. Roshar--39

Heal First of the Sun, hurt Roshar. 3. First of the Sun--34 5. Roshar--21 ...something tells me that when I wake up and check the forum in a few hours, First of the Sun will not be leading any more.
-
@old aggie, I'm obviously not Peter, but Legion/David Haller has been an X-Men character since 1985. If anything, Marvel could argue that it's them who should be calling a lawyer on Sanderson - and IIRC, Brandon has said that the show you've just brought up is the very reason his Legion will likely never take off as a TV show.
-
@Secrets, for the last two participants, the rules change to adding and taking 2 points, to faciliate the game ending in any sort of prompt fashion. This being said, it doesn't matter all that much, because I'm healing First of the Sun and hurting Roshar anyway 3. First of the Sun--46 5. Roshar--9

Isn't that just the King's Wit ceremonial sword? I do believe this was mentioned in one of his first appearances, that the blade is King's Wit's court insignia or somesuch.
