So after getting through the whole book (which on the whole I really enjoyed and am hoping to see somehow adapted and fit into the rest of the cosmere stories) I ended up having one nagging question. The answer may be super simple, it just didn't jump out at me. So the Vo-Dari have secretly bonded Agaris' aether, illuminous, but are also secretly of the Amberite and Bestarin lines. But they've also Bonded Night, which is Makkal's Aether. Doesn't this completely destroy the logic here? How could they bond two opposites? That goes directly against the Patriarch's assertion that you cannot bond an opposite once you have bonded the other...
