Reading David Eddings' Elenium for the first time since I was a teenager. Yeah Eddings' has his problems and detractors, but it's one of the series that got me into epic fantasy in the first place so I give him a pass. I have a big soft spot for his writing. So far with a few exceptions I've found that it holds up pretty well to this day (for me).

Right that's my point. Until the people "effected" by these names object on racial grounds, I won't. That being said, the names sound pretty silly.

Yeah I'd be careful about speaking on behalf of the cultures represented here. In that same article there are a few native americans who comment and say they have no problem with the names. Same thing with sports teams like the Redskins and the Indians. I personally know some guys from the Reservation nearby who laugh at all the white people worrying about offending them with those names. They don't really take it seriously.

So I really enjoyed this movie. All characterizations were phenomenal especially Black Panther and Spiderman. That was the best Spiderman on screen ever. Period. I do however have a couple nit-picks: Once again, the MCU has underwhelmed me in the villain department. I know Zemo was different than most of the MCU villains, but I just feel like a lot of his character was wasted/forgettable. I don't know why, but Marvel can't seem to get villains right and I'm really hoping they can fix this with Thanos. Who knows. Also, WHY THE GIGANTIC ALL CAPS PLACE NAMES??? We get it, this is happening in a different country. Lastly did I miss the passing of the law that all fugitives and people in hiding MUST wear an unlarked baseball cap and a hooded jacket? I mean seriously by the time they showed Bucky I just couldn't take it seriously it pulled me out of the movie a bit. Overall, I'd give it an 8 or so.

This is only true concerning regular human tacticians. We're talking about someone who can supernaturally see possible futures with certainty. I think that would lend itself to a pretty good substitute for experience.
