  1. Szeth and Nale will defenitely fight. That has been foreshadowed pretty clearly. I can see them being the Champions too. Szeth would defenitely fit for Honors Champion, and Nale has a lot of pain Szeth can take away. Plus, Nightblood would ensure that Nale cant return to Braize, which might break the Oathpact
  2. There is the Nohadon vision in OB too, where Nohadon goes shopping, I think. There is defenitely something up with him. I think he will appear in present Roshar in some shape or form. A cognitive shadow maybe? I could see him returning in 5. He has a connection with Dalinar, and 5 was almost Dalinars book, so it would make sense for him to be there.
  3. Fun to see Leshwi having a bigger role. It is pretty fun that she is one of the best warriors among the Fused though, since Moash with a knife took her down.
  4. Jezrien is the correct spelling :-)
  5. I don’t think they are, for the simple reason that it should have been mentioned if that was the case.
  6. Yeah, which makes me wonder how long Kalak was gone.
  7. So, I wonder how much time the Heralds had to spend to make sure that Ash was with them on abandoning the Oathpact. After all, it meant that she left the man she loved to eternal torture.
  8. Stormlight spoiler: Agreed about Jasnahs flashbacks. Amaram is pretty much the sole reason for why I look forward to those (well, that, and the fact that Brandon is writing them). I cant get into Jasnah as a character, which you know by now I think. Always a pleasure to discuss with you!
  9. Never even heard of it :-)
  10. Thanks for elaborating on it. The spike thing is the most creative part, I think. I like your idea a lot!
  11. Good point. Pretty sure that Bondsmiths as a rule dont have Blades. Edit: Found it! Note that this is part of a longer WoB on Elhokars Blade, but Brandons statement is pretty clear, so I didn’t grab the whole thing.
  12. I don’t remember much about the Sibling, so I can’t bring up any WoBs that debunks this. But it would be really, really cool if it was true. Upvote!
  13. Navanis parents were Hoid and Vivenna. Plot twist.
  14. @Pathfinder I think that you are, again, making a good point regarding Strange, and I see the difference between them. Regarding Amaram specifically: Bayaz is one character I despise. I think he might be my most disliked character in fiction. I’d take Straff Venture or Ramsay Bolton any day, to avoid him.
  15. Stormlight spoilers: If you want to continue discussing Amaram (which I’m glad to do) then you should send me a PM so that we dont derail this thread. I do give you that the Strange/Amaram comparison doesnt hold up, at least not entirely. Strange is somewhat of a destination before journey guy though. Before looking into the future he is willing to sacrifice both Tony and Peter Parker to protect the Time Stone, which, as it turns out, was also the wrong thing to do since Tony needed to live for them to win.
  16. Right, thanks, I got that wrong. Iyatil is from Denmark (just kidding). I still dont feel like the Ghostbloods would not recruit people on Scadrial.
  17. Pretty sure its Numuhukumakiaki’aialunamor actually :-)
  18. That was a joke actually, though that can be hard to tell in text form. I know. And I dont consider him a villain. He is however showing the same mentality as Amaram or other antagonists in the Cosmere. Yeah. Beric, Gendry, Sansa, Robb, Talisa... there are a bunch of decent people.
  19. Thanks. That was what I thought. If you don´t mind, what exactly does spook mean?
  20. We are pretty good, I think. We don´t get everything, but we defenitely do get a bunch of stuff. For example, I know that we did predict:
  21. The Rebels are obviously the villains of Star Wars. The Empire is just seeking peace and order in the galaxy, and they also employ smurfs in their navy. Total good guys. The rebels are terrorists who seeks the aid of teddy bears who eat people, and a shady religious order of old, represented by a wierd frog who lives in a swamp. The Vikings in Vikings are defenitely the bad guys in the drama, but are also the main characters. Likewise, in The Last Kingdom, Uhthred, the main character, is pretty much a douchebag. Thor is defenitely a bad guy in the first half of the first Thor movie. He is a genocidal warmonger. Gandalf is pretty much sending out random farmers to fight dragons and evil empires who employ monsters. He does this twice. Dumbledore is pretty much sending his students to fight dragons, dark lords, risk their lives by travelling back in time, allows them to attempt murder at school, employs a guy who dreams of torturing children, and allows a bully to work as a teacher in his school. He does this a LOT: Doctor Strange willingly sacrifices peoples lives for good in his Endgame plan. In Knightfall, the main character steals the kings wife, and when the king finds out, he is treated like the villain, and the one who has been doing bad things (granted he does do bad things out of anger, but not really before that). Basically everyone in Game of Thrones. Except Davos. He just smuggled onions, which is okay. I will be back if I recall more things.
  22. To answer your first point about Kelsier, it is unlikely, agreed, but certainly not impossible. We know that Iyatil is from Southern Scadrial, even though she has since spent time in Silverlight. And the Ghostbloods are worldhoppers, and I dont think it unlikely that they spread out, and have people on several different planets. Thus, they could recruit Kelsier as an operative on Scadrial. Not likely, but defenitely not impossible. Also, the one thing that suggests Spook as a Ghostblood is the WoB above. Kelsier being a Ghostblood is a common question for Brandon, and so it wouldn´t be unlikely for Brandon to be referring to those questions in his answer. The only three people close to Kelsier who are alive are Sazed, Marsh and Spook. And out of those three, Spook is defenitely the most likely candidate. Also, yeah, I know that that is the origin of Spooks name, but isn´t spook also a word in the english language? It is not my native language, so I´m not sure. It does remind me of the swedish word for ghost, which is spöke, but that is defenitely a coincidence.
  23. I listened to the latest episode of Shardcast, and I got interested in this particular WoB: The podcasters discussed this a little bit, and connected Brandons response to Kelsier, since Kelsier somehow being involved with the Ghostblods is a common theory. But if it was Kelsier, we wouldn’t be pretty close. We would be there. But someone close to Kelsier? Someone who has been seen as a Survivor, like Kelsier. That someone is Spook. We know that Spook is Cosmere-aware. We also know that he left his position as king and disappeared. But we do not know where he went after that, or what he is up to. I suggest that he became a Ghostblood. Furthermore, I think Spook is a word that has something to do with ghosts (not sure about this, please correct me if it isnt so). If so, that is another connection. What do you guys think?
  24. I dont remember, but I wouldn’t be surprised about recruits sneaking in. And he doesn’t necessary have needed to be in the bridge crew when they were doing actual Bridgerunning. They haven’t stopped being Bridge squads, so he can be reborn among them even if he wasn’t there for the dangerous part of it. He could just be like Skar, and have a hard time acquiring the powers. He wouldn’t be thrown out for that.
