  1. What is Autonomys intent anyway? If someone bothers to answer, reply in spoiler tag (I guess).
  2. I am biased, since I actually like Amaram. But here: I have seen threads like this before. One of them pointed out that it seems like the Sons of Honor's endgame is power for the church. If that is the whole deal, then Amaram is pretty bad. But we dont know everything yet. What we do know is that Amaram does feel bad about some things he is doing (Kaladin, people dying), something Sadeas doesn't. There could be a higher purpose to Amaram. As pointed out, Sadeas does everything for himself, and feels no remorse. He is also a bully, with his taunting of Adolin. I go Sadeas.
  3. Ruin has swag. I love him. No seriously, he's my favorite. I like the fact that he thinks he is justified. He had a certain charm to him as well.
  4. I just think its a coincidence. And Vin, Elend, Siri, Jasnah and Dalinar (as mentioned) all have styled hair as far as I remember. I suppose Susebron and Lightsong have as well. I think it depends on the character. Vasher for example is messy-looking. That is his style, that fits his character and his image. About Adolin, I think it fits the kind of carefree attitude he is trying to show.
  5. That is my fave as well.
  6. Didn't Brandon say that he liked Bavadin? Might be cause he is a dragon. Also, didn't Hoid call Rayse "individual" in the letter. There could be a reason to why he chose that instead of "human being." The fact that a dragon as villain might seem random to the readers who don't know the Cosmere speaks against this though.
  7. Jaime is not supernatural either. He's just really good.
  8. Okay, I get it. I plan to buy the antology when it comes, and I guess Emperors Soul will be there. Going to read it then. Planning to do the same with the other Cosmere shorts.
  9. Havent read Alcatraz, Elantris or Infinity Blade, so I cannot speak for or agsinst the characters from those series. However, I love these kinds of threads, and I hope its OK that I give my opinons about the characters that I have knowledge of: -Vin vs Shai: Dont even know which book Shai is in. Do Vin have coins and daggers? -Eshonai vs Siris: Have not read Infinity Blade. -Adolin vs Dilaf: Although I dont know Dilaf, I have a hard time imagining someone with only a sword beating Adolin. -Raoden vs Alcatraz: No idea -Kaladin vs Hrathen: Unless tha armor can block a shardblade, Kaladin wins. -David vs Wayne: David. I would explain if I knew how to insert a spoiler tag. -Susebron vs Denth. I dont think Denth can win this. Susebron is too powerful. -Vasher vs Wax: Wax has guns, he is accurate, he can make the bullets fly faster than usual and he is rather agile thanks to his Pushes and weight. I think that is more than Vasher can handle, especially considering the fact that Wax can push away his sword.
  10. The one guy we can be sure about being in Hearthstone is Roshone. He has too much history with Kaladin for them not to have an encounter. And it would add conflict to Kaladins storyline. I think its 50/50 on Hesina and Lirin being there. But I am sure that Kaladin will meet at least his father again sometime. Maybe not in Oathbringer, but sometime. Laral, I think will be there. I think she has some kind of part to play. Wonder if she will have a relationship with Kaladin? Kaladin meeting Jasnah (and Hoid), would not surprise me at all. After all, Kaladin and Hoid have a tradition of hanging out together for a story, and I can see that continuing. Then, Kaladin is supposed to go to Kholinar. I can see him meeting Jasnah and Hoid there. Alas, he wont be spending the entire book in Hearthstone. Hopefully we will get to see Aesudan as well. I want her too have an actual appearance!
  11. ^^^You know nothing, Meridas Amaram. I guess the theory is plausible... the "why the Davar family?" is a good question.
  12. She'll live. No way she died there.
  13. Hurt Tyn heal Mr T 1. Hrathen- 32. The Lord Ruler- 165. Ruin- 209. Bleeder- 1315. Taravangian- 1919. Mraize- 2020. Tyn- 9
  14. She is an antagonist. A minor one, but still, an antagonist. Personally, I cant see why people like her. She always felt bossy, overconfident and had an I-know-everything-better-than-you behavior. So hurt her and heal Taravangian 1. Hrathen- 42. The Lord Ruler- 155. Ruin- 209. Bleeder- 1315. 16. Brandon has not sponsored it yet, though.
  17. Not that I want to ruin the party or anything, but would this be legal? Stormlight does belong to Brandon. If it is, it's a cool idea though!

  19. @Daniyah I forgot to add one HP to Denth. Could you edit your post so that he has 4 HP?

  21. Is this TV-Brienne or book-Brienne. Book version do not have all the feats of TV-Brienne. I think Adolin would take both, honestly.
  22. First this will most likely contain SPOILERS for BOTH STORMLIGHT BOOKS! So, Adolin is among the most skilled swordfighters we have met in the Cosmere. I thought it would be fun to debate how he would do against other skilled swordfighters, like Lan Mandragoran, Aragorn, Lothar, you name it. For the sake of discussion, Adolin has no Shardplate, and his opponents have swords that can block Shardblades. So, which fantasy swordsmen could beat Adolin in a duel? Didcuss!
  23. I can see this happen. On the subject of Nightblood, I guess this is possible, but Brandon would have to put some kind of explanation in there for those who are unfamiliar with the Cosmere. They would be confused.
  24. I'd say yes to arrows. You would probably need a special bow, though. Dunno if the one old Torol had would be sufficient. Am I the only one who wants Shallan to have a huge Shardmace?
