  1. Amaram does realize that his actions concerning Desolations are wrong, but he finds that the prize makes up for the cost. He mentions in his letter to Restares that he is bothered by the amount of people dying during the events to come.
  2. I doubt Adolin will be a traitor. I have seen @maxal talk about this before, and the arguments used are very sound. I am not able to say it as well as she would though, but I think that the whole thing narrows down to the fact that Adolin never would harm or betray his loved ones, since he is an incredibly loyal person, who strongly cares about other people. I also agree with @aemetha in that the passage about the traitor probably refers to Unmade or Heralds. Probably Heralds, to which (Edgedancer spoiler):
  3. Could Denth be spiked? His super-speed has to come from somewhere. And he could certainly be seen as unhinged.
  4. Why didnt I think of this?
  5. As I said on the page before this, I would like to see Billy Crudup do Ruin. Serkis would be an awesome TenSoon though.
  6. I will say like the others. There are nothing linking them, and Iyatil would need some kind of illusions. If you are right though, you can laugh at all of us.
  7. True. I feel like Straff is the closest Brandon comes to GRRM.
  8. Whaaaat? No one mentioned the best Cosmere couple ever??? Mistborn Era 1 spoiler: For real though, I really have no idea, as romantic pairings really aren't my thing. I guess I'll go with (another Mistborn Era 1 spoiler):
  9. Actually, we do know several differences between living Shardblades and dead ones: 1. The living Blades do not require ten heartbeats in order to be summoned. 2. The living Blades can shapeshift into other weapons (or things). Syl changed into a hammer, and a spear for Kaladin, and (Edgedancer spoiler): 3. The living ones glow. In addition, there might be some differences in wether they disappear when dropped or not (I believe living Shardblades stay in weapon form as long as their Radiant wants them too, but I am not sure).
  10. Warbreaker in order to get the background on Zahel and Nightblood. The Mistborn series are also good, because they will allow you to recognize a couple of characters in SA. When you have read all the Mistborn books (Final Empire - Bands of Mourning), you should check out Secret History. I think you will find that interesting.
  11. @Nohadon Exactly how are the fights supposed to work? Will everyone just drop their thoughts on all the battles, and the ones with the most votes move on? Also, you should maybe tag the people who selected fighters, so that they know that the tournament has started. Just write @username to tag people.
  12. Oh well, I better get on with it. You want to be my first subje... assistant?
  13. Im a Silent Gatherer. Does this mean that I get to shut up and gather stuff? And is that good or bad? And ehat am I supposed to gather? So many questions...
  14. Edgedancer spoilers:
  15. Do we have a WoB on this lying around? Actually, I doubt that Honorblades would grant squires. When you wield a Honorblade, you are no Radiant, just a random guy with a weapon allowing you to Surgebind. I think that squires should be something that only a Radiant could have. Even if Kaladin wielded his Ash's Blade, he wouldnt be a Lightweaver Radiant, just a Windrunner with the ability to use Illumination and Transformation.
  16. As Breeze? Out of those, Im going for Spader.
  17. I could see this, but I doubt their appearances are the same.
  18. I read Edgedancer. What does he do in that?
  19. That doesnt have to be the goal of whoever is controlling Aesudan. Pai might have been an unforseen event. It is possible that they just wanted to use Aesudan to control Kholinar/spy on Elhokar/affect Elhokar/whatever. The goal does not have to be chaos.
  20. I dont like the controlled-by-Odium theories, for a number of resons: 1. It feels very predictable. As soon as someone behaves strangely/is evil people assume that it is control by Odium or Unmade. 2. It feels done already. Mistborn Era 1 spoilers: 3. I dont want everything to be about Odium. I like it when there are human threats as well, such as the secret societies. Having Aesudan controlled by someone else (like the Sons of Honor) or acting by herself, feels much more interesting.
  21. I guess most of you recall the mad beggar in Axies Interlude. The guy who builds cities with vegetables. Any theories on him? Who he is, what he is doing, wether he is connected to anyone? Or is he just a random beggar?
  22. -What does Hoid think about the merging of Ruin and Preservation into Harmony? -Does Hoid have children?
  23. When it comes to chasmfiends, I believe that there is some connection with Voidbringers/Odiun. After all, Jasnah believed that they were Voidbringers in WoK.
  24. You know what? I think she is both Odium, and his champion.
  25. I noticed it too. Started to wonder wether you had become The One Who Disconnects.
