Waht? I don't like the sound of that. I'm not sure if this is real world stuff, but this feels weird to me. I'm going to switch to @Coda. I suspect him slightly more anyway, but didn't think he'd be on to defend. Coda Darkness

As promised, here are my reads so far: In order from most trusted to least I’d have to say I trust Abstrusity, Lemonelon, Elandara, Sart, Wonko, Snipexe, DeTess, Darkness, and Coda. That’s all just from the posts they have made. I want to go back through and see exactly how each person was involved in the lynches so far and see where the tipping points were, but that may have to wait until tomorrow. For now I’ll place a vote on Darkness, but I should be back on near turnover to see what changes. Edit: Formatting

Sorry I haven't been able to contribute as much today. I don't like the lynch where it's at, but I guess we at least get some info on what "types" means. Tomorrow I should be able to do a deeper dive on what the living players have posted so far. A vote for Devotary here is useless and I don't really think he's a thug anyway, not to mention that I doubt there are any vote manipulation roles at this point... and Devotary just voted for himself. hmm. well, rip in peace. That's either the most desperate elim play, or he's definitely village. Not much we can do now, though. I'm almost tempted to see what happens if we get a unanimous lynch.

Elias looked at the hat in his hands. Such skill. Such kindness. He put it on and rushed to the restroom to get a look. What style! What panache! Elias wandered back into the room to see the man... er Mundric he'd said his name was... set up with a case of hats. He wasn't kidding about his passion. The only question was why here. Even a powerful misting couldn't contribute more than someone who has found their purpose. Elias approached Mundric. "Thank you for the hat. You do such beautiful work! Why did you come to the academy?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Oops Sorry. I will do better. With not a lot of time left I figure a vote count will be helpful Wonko: DeTess Abstrusity: Straw Lemonelon: StrikerEZ, Abstrusity StrikerEZ: Wonko, Lumgol Coda: Elkanah @Coda Do you have any thoughts? I'd vote to break the tie, but I don't think we know yet whether ties kill both, neither or randomly. That seems like relevant information, so I'll poke Coda

Elias listened warily. Who was this who dared approach an Innate. Inviting him to cheer up? what mockery! Elias was about to send away this stranger when Mundric introduced himself and presented the most glorious hat Elias had ever seen. It was a deep red that contrasted beautifully with the tassels: a green that reminded him of what his mother wore before she was sent away. "Splendid! Superb! How did you ever come across such a hat?"

Yes! Snipexe Young Bard! Aww Young Bard. One Living Thug I've rewritten RP here seven times before just deciding this character is not worth saving. I disagree slightly. I agree early role claiming is a poor choice overall, but that also means information will be slow coming. That gives the thugs an early game advantage in that they will know some of the roles and what they can do, and we won't. While the roles we claim can't give us an idea of who is or isn't a thug, it can give us an idea of what we might be up against. The downside is the thugs have already destroyed the records and would almost certainly lie about what their abilities do nullifying the strategy. The lack of private conversations further hinders this. I think role claiming may be a valid strategy in a cycle or two so we have an idea of what we're up against / what possible assets we have against them.

Elias scowled. It was bad enough that he was had to see urchins in the street as he made his way to school, but now some knave had the audacity to place himself as an equal. Lost in thought, Elias barely noticed the young woman lying in the street bleeding. It was indecent. She should have better manners and die where no one could see her. Was it really too much to ask for ingrates to keep to themselves. As he entered the school he expected to find the sweet relief of silent academia. Instead of the respite from the world, he was greeted with a flock of concerned teachers and students rushing the other direction to check on the girl. One plowed into Elias almost knocking him from his feet. Fire lit in his eyes as he stared the offender down. They were smaller and scared, and hustled to clear out of the way. The fire cooled after a moment. The word had gone out that there were common thugs admitted to his school. Well, maybe Elias would be able to banish a few people who made the cut, but still didn't deserve to be in his presence. Darkness has a character and he and Sart already have a vote sooo Snipexe

Hey everyone. I understand the concern for not killing people the first day of a game, but I'll second Araris' statement about day one lynches. We typically don't learn much from who dies night one either, but that won't stop the eliminators from killing one of us. Without the necessary discussion that happens when people feel like they're about to die, day one is completely wasted. That said, I'll poke vote Mark. What are your thoughts?

Year 6 A year full of research has brought a bountiful harvest to the fractions of Arelon. The harvest was great and the citizens rejoiced. It seemed as though the very gods were smiling on the once ill fated collections of fledgling countries. With only the exception of a few. The demise of MAI in year 4 had come as quite a blow to their religion. It seemed they would soon be extinct and their gods forgotten. Their leader Alvron had fallen among the dead in the great battle for its preservation; however, as the few survivors searched for the bodies of their kin, Alvron was found. Knowing what this could mean for their way of life, they made the long trek south into Duladel to recuperate their numbers. Once their commander was at full strength he bagan to poison the leaders in the country of Quiver. His missionaries zealously preached in the villages about their true gods. Enough descent was gained that the people rose up and slew the royal family, setting in their place Alvron as their supreme commander. Duladel, thoroughly entertained by all the intrigue and squabbling that had happened in Arelon was sad to see such little turnover in year 6. Surely people were tending to their wounds, but perhaps there was a way for them to speed up the process. Largely at peace themselves they decided they could spare 15 AP to the highest bidding country. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TURN 6 HAS BEGUN ENO and TII have fallen. ALVRON has taken the place of QUIVER. There will be an open auction in thread for the 15 AP offered by Duladel. To place a bid, mark the amount of wealth in Green in the thread. PMs will be sent out. Turnover will be 8 pm Sunday April 10.

YEAR 4 Widows filled the air with cries for the lost. Bodies covered the earth from horizon to horizon. Unfortunately there is no rest for the weary as more armies marched through. The never-ending procession of soldiers gave way to monotony and the people knew to hide inside whenever the dark form of half starved warriors entered the cities. people would pillage what they could, but there really wasn't much left to be had. The people's united prayer to their diverse gods was "where are you?" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Turn 4 has begun. PMs are being sent out. The countries of MAI, SAO, KIE, DAA, TII, EDO, and AOR have fallen. Alvron has been eliminated. You have until Sunday April 3 at 8:00 pm MST to send in orders. April fools only MAI fell

YEAR 3 With the fall of Are, Sao, and Opa, tension has spread. Rumors blazed from Ake to Kae of warlords determined to take the world by force. The responses; however, were as diverse as the religions they came from. Some followed the example of these warlords, marching to destroy their immediate neighbors. Others took a more defensive approach. Still others looked for another more subversive way to seize control. One thing all had in common: They needed their gods more than ever. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Turn 3 has begun. PMs are being sent out. The countries of ENO, IAD, SEO, ESHE have fallen. Ripplegylf has been eliminated. You have until Wednesday 30 March at 8:00 pm MST to send in orders.

Supremacy of Arelon Year 2 Rebuilding from the collapse, nations have frantically scrambled to assemble a military. One can hardly pass a forest without seeing a barracks or workshop. Militarization has reached an all-time high as religious excitement grows to a frenzy. A few nations have kept their heads. Instead of war machines and battalions, they focus on faith and knowledge. Discovering and producing new tools, they try to restore balance in provinces ready to rebel again. More often, though, Bloodshed reigns. Preferring preemptive strikes, already religions have charged. The religions of Trumpism, Shu-Korath, and ideosyncranism have been thoroughly wiped out to the last of their race. Turn 2 has begun. PMs have been sent out. The countries of SAO, OPA, ARE have fallen. No Players have been eliminated. Please send in your actions before Sunday 8:00 pm MST. Map: Player List
