So, one night my family made scones, and left the oil in the pan, on the stove. The stove was off.
Fast forward to a couple days later. I'm getting myself some waffles, and I thought the cooking oil was syrup. So I put some on my waffles, and start eating.
Right away I notice something's off, but I thought it was the waffles, so I put more "syrup" on them. It didn't help. I ate the whole thing, and I only found out about it at dinner.
I have a history of being a picky eater. My mother no longer fears for me in that regard.
