    My friend was a Sanderson fan (at the time ignorant of the Shard's existence) and managed to get me to read Steelheart. Then Alloy of Law (it kinda messed me up when I read Mistborn). I don't remember what happened next, but I wound up reading WoK, Elantris, etc. Years later, I finally read Mistborn. Alloy of Law and its Harmony references made so much more sense.

    If you want to ask questions, your best bet is book signings or personalizations. He occasionally does Q and A's in various settings, like Reddit, or maybe Twitter. He actually does them on this site sometimes. In my less than two months on this site, I have never been present for one, but I'm a veteran in everything except time.

    If I ever go to Roshar, Sel, or anywhere in the Cosmere, I'm going covered in aluminum foil. It is the material that Nightblood's sheath is probably made of, as well as the practice sheaths of Shardblades. I'm more or less indestructible!

    Aluminum is very interesting. I am fascinated with it. Not in real life, though. Real life aluminum is pretty boring.

    There is a difference between Voidbringers and the Listeners. As far as we know, all Voidbringers are Listeners, but not all Listeners are Voidbringers.
