  1. In the epigraphs, Sazed states that ascending at the well gave Rashek a deep understanding of the 3 metallic arts. Some was whispered by Ruin too though, so that's where the hemalurgy stuff came in.
  2. Depends on which phone you have, but on iPhones if you press the upload button on the bottom of safari, you should see a make shortcut on home screen button.
  3. umm, I'd like to say something about this, but it's heavy BoM Spoilers so this should (probably?) be moved to the subforum. Or the grace period might have ended. I don't know. Don't trust me.
  4. Being an Atium ferring actually isn't that useless. It doesn't have any practical effect, but for someone who needs to hide a lot, changing disguises would be easy.
  5. Adonalsium was from Yolen, as well as the original shardholders. I believe there's a WoB hidden somewhere about this. EDIT: found
  6. Well, if you remove the spike, you lose the power, so that'd disappear. As far as the effects it leaves on you, like Spook's sense loss whenever he stops burning tin, I have no idea.
  7. Most of that was just his innate power, not through compounding iirc. I believe we have a WoB stating that he started out as a more powerful allomancer than lerasium mistborns.
  8. So compounding is the broad term used to describe the mixing of allomancy and feruchemy. The type of compounding we've seen in the books so far involves a feruchemical burst in power, as opposed to an allomantic one. We know that this other type is possible, because of these WoB's. We just don't know how it works as of now.
  9. Pssh. Mistborn is better. We wouldn't have our spikes cookies without it.
  10. I'd like to join by virtue of joining.
  11. So, if spikes are 'tacking on' parts of other spiritwebs, and becoming a savant slowly widens the rips, would a spike of some metal (don't really know which) kind of fix the damage? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeird thoughts.
  12. If all humans stood in a single file line around the equator, most of them would drown.
  13. They'd show up as Koloss-blooded, since they're a true breeding species now, and they'll probably still show up as Koloss-blooded if they accepted the spikes as I believe the 'spikes' are just a cultural thing, and have no actual hemalurgic charge. (haven't read Alloy of Law in a while, might be wrong) but even if they did have a hemalurgic charge, I believe a Koloss would still show up in the realm, as now they're not actually created from humans, rather, they're basically just taking a spike, like Vin's earring. When inquisitors die, they (probably) don't show up as 16+ people in the Cognitive realm, just what they looked like before they became an inquisitor.
  14. Have we gotten confirmation over what Lerasium alloys do? I thought we were still spectating.
  15. There's just going to be a ridiculous amount of metals for every god metal. If harmonium gets alloyed, then that's 64 metals.
  16. Well, we now know that his children were tied to his decision to give up TFE earlier on, so probably after Ascension. Who else feels like Brandon is making this up as he goes along?
  17. Such an odd name.
  18. In the 300 years before AoL, the Terris started to interbreed, and because of the Allomancy and Feruchemy mixing, it created the ferrings.
  19. I just feel like if Calamity was a 100 or so pages longer, I wouldn't have any qualms about the ending and not as many questions. Ending a series with this many questions isn't a nice feeling.
  20. But the shard didn't splinter as we know. Kelsier picked it up, handed it off to Vin, and then Sazed grabbed it. Splintering a shard is effectively killing it.
  21. So what I gathered from that was, you only become the Lord Ruler with the bands on. If you take them off, you'd lose all powers, right?
  22. It's right after Kelsier finds his way to the well. He sees a bunch of Inquisitors drag the one he killed into the well.
  23. Wait, when have we gotten this confirmation? I know it's been hinted, but I can't recall any hard facts being said.
