  1. I mentioned this on the "useless uses" thread, but a fully Invested Shard's ability to edit words on a page might come in very handy for, say, situations like these.
  2. Splintering generally leaves behind beings made of Investiture, e.g. the spren and the Seons/Skaze. The summons or beings like the Nine-Tailed Fox, perhaps?
  3. Might Naruto be Cosmere? There'd have to be several Shards present from all the various types of jutsu (Unless it's like allomancy with its panoply of powers), but chakra bears a startling resemblance to Innate Investiture, much like Breath.
  4. Much as the idea of Coinshotting my way around appeals, I'd have to go with feruchemy. It's just too broadly useful to pass up
  5. Assuming of course that the animal in question is sapient enough to understand the command "tap the metalmind" and willing enough to follow through with it. Going by stereotypes, dogs would disqualified by the former requirement, while cats (sorry Kurk) would be disqualified by the latter.
  6. You don't need compounding for that - just vanilla pewter feruchemy is good enough to get the requisite muscle mass. Koloss-bloods have it even easier, especially for portraying the early versions of the Hulk which were grey and not green.
  7. Hence the caveat I placed on the original answer, "assuming they could draw an Aon in the first place."
  8. Re: the Elantrian on other planets question - that's what I've extrapolated from the "Rosetta Stone" nature of the Moon Scepter. If one wanted to draw an Aon on Scadrial, there'd have to be a different base aon to start, otherwise it'd fall into the same problem Raoden did in Teod. I don't have a WoB for it.
  9. It's a bit late, but I think I can answer a few of these, help you narrow them down:
  10. They might have done, once they created humans. But Taldain is tidally locked, so Khriss is literally from the dark side of Taldain, hence the moniker.
  11. Would you like help from the community? Other people suggesting or (dare I suggest it) editing in new questions? There'd have to be an announcement post saying "Tour X is now over, do not alter the doc until the next one!" or something.
  12. You'd need the calories as well. Otherwise The Martian would be a very boring book.
  13. It doesn't remove the mass of the food, just the nutritive value and the calories. Much like Crashers can't store their mass in a metalmind, just the weight that mass exerts. Spiking someone in the chull with a F.Bendalloy spike would cause them to have, uh, buildups.
  14. I'm assuming that the newly restored Shard is on the side of good.
  15. Arguably Devotion and Dominion were opposing pairs as well (although not nearly to the extent of Ruin and Preservation). However, we don't know what they acted like when they were alive, so yeah.
  16. Not more than normal bullets, I believe.
  17. I think it was lost during the Catacendre, if not sold during Elend's reign to help with withstanding the siege.
  18. And in a third (SoS), he works indirectly against the Set by working to bring Bleeder to justice. (Because those two allomancers working the crowd during the climactic speech didn't come from nowhere)
  19. Didn't Ben Affleck play his childhood friend in Rudy? Or was that Paul Rudd? The one who dies in a mining accident a third of the way through to jar Rudy out of his rut.
  20. Fallout? No, they didn't have superpowers. Zelda: the Wind Waker? No, the catastrophe wasn't nuclear. May we have a hint towards what kind of superpowers?
  21. Oh yeah. Regrowth is an absolute godsend for anyone interested in really good fruits and veggies. I wonder if an illusion of a light source would provide the same nutritive value (for as long as it lasted, anyway) as the genuine article. (trying to see how much Illumination would provide to a hypothetical Truthwatcher with a green thumb) PS. And those black tomatoes look like they'd be wonderful roasted, maybe filled with some kind of cheese... Ooh! Bacon-wrapped Black tomatoes with goat-cheese filling! I'm sorry, I'm continuing the derail. And making the rest of the thread hungry. I'll stop now.
  22. Tapping feruchemical zinc to help you think of a way to actually make something palatable out of that one piece of cuisine you hate. (I'm the same way with sweet peppers) EDIT: On a more mundane note, stir-fry them in olive oil, and every type of Italian herb you have (plus salt and pepper, of course). Basil and Rosemary are basically required, although everything else can be to taste. Depending on the type of tomato, you may want to cut them into more manageable chunks, but when possible I prefer ones small enough to pop in your mouth. Remove the veggies, make a sauce out of the oil, remaining herbs, and some white wine, and then serve the veggies over pasta (I recommend a small and twisty noodle, cooked al dente - fusilli or rotini, and there's one I believe called Collentoni which is my personal favorite) with the sauce drizzled on top.
  23. Honor never said that. Besides, the "current leaders" are the Trell-agents. They couldn't care less about any specific human pawn, so long as the plan itself continues on schedule (and if they aren't immortal, I'll eat my hat). And there is a greater goal - secure dominance over the whole of Scadrial. Again, they don't care about the puny humans. If they need to wipe everything and start from scratch, so be it. It'll take time, and is appallingly wasteful, but better to flip the table than lose on it.
  24. Suit accepts the Trell-agent's authority without question, and is gratified that they listened to him about moving up the timetable. That is, until they told him what exactly that entailed. That plus the fact that the Set's hirelings are afraid of them (see also their conduct while divulging the information about the agents' presence) suggests that the Trell-agents are fully in charge. Also, Taravangian runs a murder-clinic to get intel from one of the Unmade (who by the way are his ostensible enemies) regarding his plan to take over the world - if he's good, he is extremely misguided.
