    First off, Joe. Just an FYI but both Riew and I are guys (though I will admit you are not the first to make that mistake) So, my vote. Not that it will likely matter at this point. Newan, I was smoked, by whom I do not know nor do I know exactly why. However you have admitted to being a smoker, and three village smokers seems a little unlikely to me. Where better for a spiked smoker hide than in plain sight? Why was I Lurched? I don’t know, honestly it came as a bit of a surprise. I’m of course thankful, I really don’t want to die. (I’d really like to see the end of one of these games) If it was the spiked, I don’t think it was the smartest move on their part. They should have let me die, one more Villager taken down by friendly fire. But they didn’t, and hopefully it will backfire on them. Anyway, good night. And good game. Scratch that not Newan, I'll vote for my /good/ buddy Lord Pifferdoo (that'll teach /you/ to stab me in the back like this)

    You're right, they probably are. To be quite honest I get why people are voting for me (though I know you are all going to be sorry when you find out I'm innocent). At least you are hesitant. But it does kind of hurts that this many people suspect me, and are continuing to vote for me when it's obvious I'm going to die. Do I wish you hadn't added this, of course. But I don't blame you. I will be doing another post later on with my "vote" (for what it is worth) but I'm watching a Brandon livestream right now.

    The thing is I compulsively check the forums. I'm here a significant portion of the day. So the fact that I saw and responded to a post (with literally just a link which took a minute to find) in a reasonable amount of time isn't exactly unusual. As I mention in my previous post this being done "on purpose" would require me to be a complete idiot. I reject the implication that because I responded to a post in a timely manner it means I'm spiked. (And if we /were/ both Spiked there is no way in Braize I would have responded to that in the thread). As for your Soothing of me, I certainly can't explain it.

    Okay, so we didn't lynch any body last night, which if Peng and Newan are both Villagers (which I kind of doubt) would be a good thing. If however either one of them is spiked then we missed an opportunity. I would say it is too soon to say which, hopefully it's the former. On the me and Dowanx posting within minutes of each other thing. Technically this is my third game, but since I died at the first opportunity for the first two this is effectively my first real game, so yes I am a rookie. However not posting in such close proximity is Basic Strategy 101, I would be severely disappointed in myself if I made a blunder that huge. I wouldn't even feel bad if y'all killed me for it, I'd totally have deserved it. However it was a complete coincidence so please don't actually kill me.

    Actually they did post-Final Ascension. It's talked about in the Alloy supplement for the MAG, and presumably will be mentioned in Shadows of Self. They can take human-bodies at the command of Harmony however.

    Sorry everyone for not posting yet in the cycle, I've been focused on other things... I'm going to go ahead and vote for Peng. I'd rather there not be a tie and I'm slightly more suspicious of Peng than Newan. Both have been relatively inactive, I think, Newan more so than Peng (who has been around but not necessarily contributed much) but are now much more active...

    Well darn. And also it will nice to have an explicit WoB on that about Elantris, we sort of knew it already but Brandon only obliquely references it. Having it cut and dry like that will help a lot. How long is the recording?

    It's in the annotations, which haven't entirely been added to the interview database (I should get back on that).

    I don't see why they wouldn't. Magnetism is a pretty fundamental phenomenon. In fact I'm pretty sure the ash is somewhat ferro-magnetic in that it that it interacts with Scadrial's magnetic field.

    Actually both syllables of the Aon are stressed.

    That doesn't mean the audiobook reader is saying it correctly. Author's sometimes give a pronunciation guide but there is no guarantee that reader will follow it. H

    Yeah I wouldn't consider that canon. Cover art, even the US covers are commissioned by the publisher, not Brandon he has very little control over how things are depicted.

    Only tangentially I would say, Devotion and Dominion were shattered /long/ before the Reod. So while I would say that the Reod was caused by a build-up of the Dor, which is a result of Devotion and Dominion being Shattered, it's not as simple as one causing the other, there is a chain of cause and effect over hundreds/thousands of years.

    Actually Sarene and queen don't rhyme, in-world it would be pronounced "sar-EE-NEE" (or sar-AY-NAY, but that is more an artifact of the fact that her name used to be Sarana, based of Aon Ana instead of Aon Ene).

    Alex did another podcast interview here. They talk a little about the dice themselves, and the story of why it has taken so long to make them again. In MAG news, edits for the skaa supplement are supposed to start in a few weeks and the cover artist is also supposed to start work in a few weeks. They were also originally going to do another FE-era supplement but with the announcement of two Mistborn Adventure books they might do a follow-up to the Alloy supplement next instead.
