With the release of Calamity a few weeks ago we Sanderson fans bid farewell to what has become a very successful series (which is currently sitting at number 1 on the New York Times Children's Series Bestseller List!). And while I, personally, do love that Brandon jumps from project (though it does lead to troubling arguments with myself about which book I want the most...) I'm not going to lie, it is really nice to have a resolution like this.
Of course Brandon being Brandon has decided to expand this world multiverse before moving on to something else in his new series Apocalypse Guard. Here's the blurb from Delacorte's press release:

Now for those of you who read our coverage of last year's State of the Sanderson this should come as no surprise, but it's nice to have the official announcement. I, for one, could not be more excited about this. Calamity wrapped up the story of The Reckoners excellently but it also gave hints towards some deeper mysteries that I hope this new series will address. It's just a shame that we'll have to wait so long to read it!
Check out our forum thread here to discuss Apocalypse Guard!
You have to remember that the only reason that the only reason the Final Empire was at a "normal" temperature range was because of the ferromagnetic ash. So weirdly enough it was actually colder there than it was at the Geographic North Pole. That would imply that the South Pole also had a higher-than-is-usually-comfortable temperature.
As far as I am aware the Shadows of Self tour was the first time he specifically asked people to not post the reading. It sounds like he isn't saying anything about it this tour though, but I'll try and tweet Peter about it.
Edit: And it looks like he officially doesn't want videos/recordings of the reading posted until the tour is over. Luckily it's over on Friday.
Brandon has been asked about this and there is no meaningful connection between them. They were both drawn by Isaac Stewart so there might be some unconscious thing going on but there is not some great secret here.
There currently isn't a legal way to get ebook versions (except for the first two because those were just re-released). Knights of Crystallia is out April 19, Shattered Lens July 19, and Dark Talent September 6.
Rani actually asked that question for me. And the phrasing I gave her was to the effect of "Is 'subastral' the term for "region of the Cognitive Realm', ie Shadesmar is Roshar's subastral. Or is it the material that makes up the Cognitive Realm." Her report seems to indicate the former but it's unclear.
lightningrani on tumblr also went to this signing:
I'm so glad we got a recording of this signing, 'cause I really want to here the verbatim exchange on the last one...
They are definitely not hidden. But I don't think there's that much chance for overlap but I'll obliquely reference stuff:
Secret History spoiler-ish
and actually the rest of the non-Calamity spoiler questions have already been posted by kelek's breath.
Thank you for this, I was just about to say this exact thing. In any case I'm going to be locking this thread, any further discussion should go in the Seattle signing thread.
squirenonny over on tumblr went to this signing and recorded the general q&a (audio+their signing line questions here) and posted a transcription here. Warning there are spoilers for Calamity in there, and technically spoilers for Secret History as well.
In the future reports like this should really go in the relevant event thread (it just makes it easier on those of us who eventually have to go through and index everything). And SafestPear we did find this out in a reddit AMA last year. There's also a fairly lengthy thread about this over in the Cosmere Theories subforum.
There's a google doc linked in the first post of this thread that gets updated with all the suggested questions usually before a tour (not happening for the Calamity tour because I just haven't had the time to go through and sort everything).
