Yah, we've seen that interview. It's in the "Beaverton Steelheart Signing thread" in the Events, Signing, Stalking Forum. That chart does have Steelheart spoilers, which have been banned from the forums, so you should probably remove it from your post. But you can share it over PMs. (I'm going to PM you about it so we can compare our charts, but there are a lot of similarities so I like it already.

http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=700#3 Here it is.

The way I remember it is that glyphs are commonly, but not always, stylized in a way to portray their meaning. I prefer to put atmospheric pressure as between 1 and 2 because they both have gaseous Essences.
-
Travel is already a confirmed surge.
-
The "Multiple readings and q&a" one. And it is in Argent's transcripts, just transcribed differently, it is the first one under the "Multiple readings and q&a" heading.
-
I think you mean Cultivation, not Endowment. Endowment is on Nalthis. I just have a hard time accepting this. If I remember correctly, the planet names all date back to pre-shattering times, they are what the shards know the planet as. Why would they change the name from Yolen to Roshar? Also the Letter to the dragon on Yolen happens after Hoid gets the lerasium bead from the Well of Ascension which is only a couple hundred years before the Way of Kings

I think Heat+Atmospheric Pressure is Skybreakers so one wouldn't get "dust." I think Dustbringers are Order 3, so would have Heat+Steelhunt surge. I just don't see weak/strong force as more explosive than atomic motion. Transformation potentially requires the breaking/forming of bonds at a fundamental level which would require manipulation of the the strong/weak force.
-
Well heat is atomic motion, increase that enough I could see explosions happening. Heat+Atmospheric Pressure is basically weather, which could be said to "break" the sky. These are just theories though.

No the unique codes are a communal thing, everyone's codes count for the total. You only need one code.

Theory: How Gavilar got the Evil Sphere of Doom
WeiryWriter replied to Lightflame's topic in Stormlight Archive
For the former - http://lunarubato.tumblr.com/post/63708891840/alright-so-ellie-lisa-brittany-and-i-went-to They showed Brandon a mock-up of a surgebinding table and Shallan and Jasnah being separate orders is not one of the things he said was wrong. For the latter - The book, Jasnah says two orders have access to soulcasting maybe a couple paragraphs after Shallan shows her the Cryptic sketch. -
Emperor's Soul: Devotion's Body

Some information you might find useful about selish investitures. All the magic systems on Sel are manifestations of a single magic system. And they are all influenced by Devotion and Dominion. That said there is something going on with soulstone, it might be the body of a shard, but I don't really know enough to espouse the theory at this time.- 41 replies

Theory: How Gavilar got the Evil Sphere of Doom
WeiryWriter replied to Lightflame's topic in Stormlight Archive
It's debatable, I read is as her being surprised to see the Cryptics, not that she didn't recognize them, because she expected Shallan to be the same order as her. When she learns that Shallan sees Cryptics she realizes, no she is a different order. Though one of the recent q&a's has pretty much confirmed them being different orders. Yes, as far as we know it is how surges work. The Basic/Reverse Lashings are associated with gravity while the Full Lashing are associated with atmospheric pressure. We know that two orders have access to Solcasting -
My personal understanding of physics, light is electromagnetism it is an irrefutable fact. I concede that it is possible surgebinding splits electromagnetism into more than one surge but I have a hard time seeing Brandon doing it.
-
We really aren't supposed to post Steelhunt spoilers, even in spoiler tags. Which is why I haven't posted my table directly to the forums, but have made it freely available over PMs. Travel is already a confirmed surge. Electromagnetism=Light And my personal belief is that the strong/weak force=Transformation
-
On the Open-ended vs. Specific Question debate. I would like to point out the more wiggle room you give Brandon the more he can be like an Aes Sedai. (Also I have a labeled surgebinding chart if you need one)
-
I agree that it is unlikely that a lerasium would hold a charge indefinitely, it's not inconceivable but I wouldn't bet on it. On the lerasium spikes not killing the donor, it is definitely more plausible. My personal belief is that it acts as a master-spike for allomancy, meaning it can be used to spike for any allomantic ability. Like atium is the master-spike for hemalurgy and can be used for anything.

Roshar and Yolen are different planets. There is no doubt about that. As far as we know dragons are still extant on Yolen, one of them was the recipient of the Letter. As far as we know Yolen Lightweaving and Roshar Lightweaving are distinct systems that manifest in the same way. (I say they are distinct systems because they are derived from different sources.) This WoB talks a little about this. Also, Yolen plays host to two series, the Liar of Partinel and the seven book Dragonsteel series. The former takes place pre-Shattering but the latter takes place thousands of years later. At least roughly the same time as the rest of the cosmere books (give or take a couple centuries of course).

Theory - on Oathpacts, Desolations and Recreances
WeiryWriter replied to 11thorderknight's topic in Stormlight Archive
One problem, the Radiants did not abandon their shards as a result of what the Heralds did. -
Did the Lord Ruler actively have to choose to add super allomancy skills when he rebuilt his body, or was it the default when using the Well? Can non-humans be surgebinders?
-
If Ruin and Preservation had settled on a shardworld that was not Scadrial, and there were no other Shards present, how would the manifestations of investiture be different? Would the three Metallic Arts still have come into being? If so, how would they be different? What is up with Aon Ien meaning "Wisdom" but being used for Healing in AonDor? Will you ever do more "in-depth" Aon descriptions like you have done For Aon Ehe, Aon Ene, and Aon Omi? When King Raoshem settled in Elantris and made it his capital, did Seons exist? (This last one is kind of wishful thinking, it is a clarification of a question I asked Miyabi to ask him that had enough wiggle room to get out of answering, might be a RAFO though)

It's in post #5 in the spoiler tag.

Szeth's obedience - something more to it?
WeiryWriter replied to Smidge's topic in Stormlight Archive
Umm... I don't follow. Aren't Jezrien's primary traits Leading/Protecting? How is Szeth exhibiting those? -
Umm... Steelhunt spoilers shouldn't be posed... You're right though, its just a pattern I noticed. Whether or not is real or not is another matter. Edit: fix the quote to match cem's edit

@Askthepaperclip Unfortuantely we have WoB that Jasnah's second surge is neither Light nor Electromagnetism @11thorderknight I would say Light as 5/6 is "totally random" 5 is Pulp/plant-life which is basically dependent on light. Also so far on my table I've noticed that odd-numbered Orders have surges that match better while even-numbered Orders have mismatched surges.
