Yes he can, but remember that an Hemalurgic spike made of X can stole four different power (one of a quadrant) but the Spike could be use only as Xmind. Example: You could use an PewterSpike to steal the power of a Tin Ferring (Windwhisper) but you can't of course use that Spike to store sense. If you use another pewterSpike to steal a Brute's power (Pewter Ferring) you could use the Spike also like Pewtermind.

If i remember right, the thumping in the City was so strong that Vin actually don't understand where it come from. Only when she go away and the "power was less chaotic" she could understand that it came from the city. Probably the "go to the montains" was a suggestion (through the Story of the Well in the Norh Montain maybe). PS: any pro or contros about my "bonds" idea of some previous post ?

Not rare like it seems. statistically 1/16 of the Twinborn are Compounders. Anyway I feel strange the mechanics of "store push" in "steelmind". Could be the Feruchemical use of the Lerarium's Alloy ?

I put together two ideas on how using the Aondor on Roshar but there are a lot of speculative: - Using a 2 or more Aon to drawn the Dor and keep in a "loop" without using it, then when you have need of it, you "edit" the Aon to use the trapped Dor, This is theoretical usable to have a "small amount of portable Dor" (like the Well ter'angreal of WoT) and if works, works in any place of universe. - Based on a theory of mine (but there are spoiler of Warbreaker) This. The core-idea is that a seon-bond give on Roshar an X powers and the access to the local investiture to use its. If it's true an Elantrian with Seon, could fill of Stormlight and (in theory) use its to perform AonDor. I remember that both of them are Highly Speculative and could be horrifically wrong.

I have an Idea. May one of the "Spiritual Human's Attribute" that can be stolen be "the bonds" ? Something that allows to steal Shardblade (yes i know, it's more easy to kill the owner), Seon and maybe the Divine Breath (there aren't other "simple bond" in my mind)?

I remember something like 50% but it's not for a book (and I don't be sure came from a WoB). Anyway "the limit" seems to be something different from "if you store many, you die" and in a WoB about the Hemalurgyc decay, Brandon states that a Feruchemical Spike granting is more slow to fill than the original Feruchemist. Therefore there is a "percentage intrinsic" of a Feruchemist/Ferring and the Decay lowers the upperbound

The point was that in the books without read any "outside" informations there is no way to know that the other order with the Trasformation surge was the Elsecaller and of course you can't know that the Elsecaller have the Trasport Surge.

Your post made me think, May a Compounder react by storing the "compounding attribute" if the "nicrosilbust" come at surprise (ex. an attack) ? And has a compounder the same "storage-speed" limits of a normal Feruchemist (I think he has) ? If the answer is YES, a compounder could waste its "compounder-attribute" by Durallumin or Nicrosil (he could storage just a little part of the Compounding). With some metals (like brass-hear) He may die in this way.

I mean that "granting Allomancy" is a Side effect of the Lerasium, not its Allomantic Effect. Maybe my words are wrong but I used "burn" and "metabolize" to speak about the cases.

If the Nicrosil may really work in this way, that isn't sure but I think It does. Is probably what Rashek does. I dont' think that you could take a "large piece of shard's power" without using something like "a big mountain of metal", but also a tiny part had an Huge amount of Investiture. But if you take "a part" of Well's power. That part aren't came back within the remain power of the Well, unless you had used from your metalmind. The reason to the Kandra's treasure was to remove that atium from the Pits-cycle. Now that all his Atium is used. The Pit will produce a lot of Atium, or at least if Harmony doesn't mess with the Pits.

An Atium misting will burn the Atium (like a mistborn). He doesn't metabolizes it. It's the same with the lerasium, if you could actually "burn it", you gain some "unkwon effect" while if you leave your body metabolizes it, your strenght in Allomancy improve (or you gain allomancy if you hadn't before. PS: Probably Rashek searched Atium misting in the Nobles to give his Inquisitor the Atium power or to turn the noble into a new Inquisitor. Why Yolen is still living and Human, I don't know. Maybe he was simple to usefull in his role.

Sure but one think is "we know about the Durallumin" and another is "we know what a Durallumin Spike stole" there isn't any way to discover unless you already know. It's possible that at the time of the HoA, without any other metal of the right "Quadrant" the Ars's Author speculated that Durallumin was the key to stole Spirirual Feruchemy. There isn't the "steal Temporal Allomantic power" for the same reason, the Author though that was the Atium the right metal to do this (and it's "quite" true). I can be wrong, but there is a possibility (Mr. Sanderson is no stranger to such tricks)

Rashek knows for sure the duralluminium (he ascended after all) but I think that keep the metal's knowledge for himself (some one using the duralluminium could match him a little). But it's unlikely that somebody else (outside of Scadrial) knows about it. But of course I can't be sure.

Sure but we don't know what actually "Hack" mean in the Manifestation of Investiture. Could be something extreme complex or some quite "easy" like to have access to different Manifestations that could work together. PS: I remember a WoB about the "stormlight and metalmind" without a RAFO answer. I'll try to find it.

Like Bort says the Nicrosil ferring (or feruchemist) could do this. But he must have a way to have other type of investiture. With the breath is quite simple, someone could give to you and you can put in the metalmind, but is quite useless because the Breath could be put in any object. But Using the Feruchemy you could storage and tap it without Command. With the Stormlight is more difficoult because a standard man could absorb Stormlight. You have to be a Surgebinder or something like and together a Ferring to do something like that. I want to add at the list also the Mist (black or white) but this is quite at Ruin/Preservation/Harmony will to give them to you.

I ask this because there are things that seem to me speculation of the Ars'Author like the Duralluminium Spike for Spiritual Feruchemy because before the death of Rashek the alloy was unknown, at the time of Ruin his Inquisitor had hard day to find Feruchemist, and they seem to use the Terrisman to obtain more usefull power (goldmind,steelmind and pewtermind) and after the Final Ascension the Hemalurgy is quite forgotten. My point is that some "fact" are actually speculation of the Author and the Duralluminium Spike (like is in the Ars Arcanum) destroy a more "standard" pattern of the Hemalurgy. Another think is that there are two errors (one to be honest) in the Feruchemy. For an error the brass and electrum has their effect switched in the book (but is now canon). But using the original "purpose" is maybe better to understand the "logic behind".

Wonderfull work Oudeis I was updating my notes about the Metallic Arts (because when Shadow of Self will be released I can't no more visit the Mistborn section of the 17thshard and coppermind) and I found this little masterpiece . After discarting a fascinating idea about the Hemalurgy (but 95% false). I build up another patter to the Art of Ruin. It's a structure (not much) complex with: - 2 set of 8 Metal: Base and Higher. Inside both of them there contain two Human attribute(HA) and two different manifestations of investiture(MI). But every "set" has his own pattern. Base: UA-MI-UA-MI Higher: UA-UA-MI-MI - Every "set" has two Quadrants (google traslate tell me that aren't the right word, ) that have the Manifestations of Investiture switched among them (there is just two MI therefore isn't much complex). PS: We have any proof about the informations in the Ars Arcaum ? They are "safe" ?

There are problems to do this: 1) The Feruchemy has an upper bound to the amount storable, I remember that is the 50% of your attribute but also if I am wrong in the number (es. 75-80%) the feruchemist stay at quite 10° and it's too high to talk about Cryogenic. 2) If you lose consciousness, you stop to charge the metalmind (only the "Sleepmind" could be charge consciousnessless). 3) If you compound heat, you have "more" heat not less. Your method could be if you store "freshness" XD But of course the ability to store huge amount of Heat is priceless to any Life support system

It's quite my point. To create an "explosion" there is much more than "high temperatures". Maybe the Brass could be used to burn someone else while tapping the metalmind. But you will burn too and probably much more than the enemy.
