Sorry Eagleoftheforestpath but the books sugest that are exactly the opposite: Shai describes pretty well what the Forgery do in Realmatic and She change the Spiritual Aspect of the object. The Soulcast are quite vague and can be as you says but I find it unlikely. Example: Shai change how a table was made (or more simply its History). She changes the links between the Spiritual Object and his creator or other "factor" of his history. Probably the Cognitive Aspect find them a little weird and the Forgery may last forever or a moment as the Cognitive make resistence to the Spiritual Change. For the SoulCasting (but here we have not sure explaination) you "paid" an Object with Investiture to change and you have to overcome his resistence. But its Hystory remain the same. "I was a Rock and after Thousand of Year I become Blood" there isn't any hystory change, the object know what was before, but just he is something else now. In the Soulcasting I suppose that in the Spiritual Realm only a few link are added by the magic, the link to the new Matter of the object.

The sentence of Brandon may be a trick. Maybe Nightblood may give the ability to draw in Stormlight but the two aren't bond yet.

@Oversleep If something like trasforming Investiture of a Shard in Investiture of another Shard was possible (and quite easy as you say). Odium will did it everytime he killed a Shardholder. And the "Compounding Breaths" make exactly this.

The point is "where the Does Extra Breaths come from ?" The Allomancy works with Preservation's powers and Moogle (and I) doubt that may trasform one kind of Investiture into something entire different

This is my theory for the reason about the only people of specific location (ex. Arelon and Duladel) are take from the Shaod. Before of this I had to remember some of the Realmatic aspect of the Cosmere. - The Cognitive aspect of someone (or something) is build about how is views and how he views himself. - The Spiritual aspect is a set of connection (less or more strong) with other Spiritual Aspect (place,time, idea, people, religion,ecc...) - On Sel there is just one "magic system" and the many forms that take are just different use of the same magic system. Now at the true Theory (that is specific of AonDor but can probably works with all the Selish way to use the Dor): I suppose the reason of only the right cultures have a chance to be take by the Shaod, is because their people have an Aon in their name. This simply fact put a minimal connection through the Spiritual Realm to the AonDor (something like bein a Scadiran give a little connection to Preservation). Growing with that name a people "imprint" that Aon as part of self in his Cognitive Aspect that improve his conncection to the AonDor. This theory works pretty well with all the Selish magic system (just remove "Aon" and put "Alphabeth of X") but has some problem with the AonDor without any other fact.... The AonDor is strange, is bein manipulate to offer much power of any other Selish Magic, using Elantris as a "super boost". I suppose that before Elantris was made any people with Aon-name and the right connection with the AonDor may use this magic (As seems to happen with the other selish magic). But for some reason they decided to concentrate the AonDor in a more mighty form. And any people with the "enough strong" connection was take by the Shaod and become Elantrian. Any though about this theory ? Pro or Contros ?

Well we don't know there is a lot of theory about. We know that other kind of bond (as example the Seon) give extra powers on Roshar. Therefore Nightblood may function as "pseudo-Spren" and Szeth may became a "Pseudo-Radiant" with some kind of power not relate at the 10 Surges. The main problem is that without great amount of Investiture, drawn Nightblood is death for the owner and there is a WoB about that "Szeth can't drawn in Stormlight" but this can be a trick answer because maybe Szeth isn't still bond with Nightblood. We don't know enough to say something sure. Some time ago I made a theory that (with few words) says that a "Bonding" on Roshar give a power related to the nature of the "Partners" and the ability to access the local investiture (Stormlight). But of course is just a Theory.

You may have right, If your Interpretation is true the Soulcasting "replace" a soul with another new-created while the Forgery "edit" the Soul. (With the "Allumin Spiritual's Emptyness theory") Therefore a Soulcaster may "create" the "Allumin's Odd" that is juas a "Spiritual Emptyness" may be easier than any other material. But a Forgery have to "Destroy" the Spiritual aspect of an Object and I honest can't think of a Plausible cause for this.

Question: We have some WoB about "If on a Shardworld there is a single shard, it generate a single Magic-System, with more than one shard there is multiple Magic System" ?

The Selish Magic is exactly "Programming the Dor" just the different region use with different Programming Languages and purpose ;-)

Ishikk was usefull to introduce the Purelake, the 17th Shard agents and the quest to find Hoid. I doubt that himself is usefull as character beyond that.

The problem that we have is "without thinking about "plausible or not" is possible at all to forge something into allumin". ? The anser is quite complex because we don't know why the Allumin si "strange" in the Cosmere's Magic. We know that on the Physical Ream and in the Cognitive Realm is a normal material. Therefore the "Oddly" has to be in the Spiritual. That are exactly what the Forgery uses to make his trick. Maybe the Allumin have an overcoming "Spiritual Aspect" or maybe it have a "quite null" Spiritual Aspect, personally I think that is true the second (the "Spiritual emptyness") from a WoB about Allumin VS Shardblade. If this is true, the Forgery can't change anything in the Allumin (and it's the reason to the Unforgable metal) and to Forgery something into Allumin you have to destroy it's Spiritual Aspect (that I suppose is quite beyond the Forgery's possibility).

It is exactly I think the Hemalurgy works. Hemalurgy= Ruin's Investiture+ Scadrial Focus (metal). In any other place (shardworld) with a different focus, he probably generate another kind of Magic-System Ruin-related but not the Hemalurgy. But in the real Cosmere, Ruin is on Scadrial and had a connection to the Scadrial's Focus.

Yeah The Mist Spirit was "just" Leras or at least that Tiny piece of sentience that remain to him. Also because the Mist Spirit "died" when Leras diead while a Cognitive Shadow would survive his own "original one".

Argent he also (in a past WoB) called the Radiant Spren as "living surge" probably in the same way that Seon is "living Aon". During the AMA I ask him if he Mistype "Aons" instead of "Seons" but without any answer

Well, if like some element of the books seems to point as a "Roshar's people are a mix of multiple Exodus from other Worlds" it's probably that they knew a lot of the Cosmere. And they of course had some kind of Worldhopping's knowledge.

Bronze may detect anykind of Investiture. But some are easy to detect than other and of course without knowing the "pulse" of something you may detect but not notice. More than all the Feruchemy is an inner power (don't take power from any outer source) therefore there is less "pulse" than something like drawn Investiture from the Spiritual Realm (Allomancy). Now that I think about, detecting Atium-burning will be quite difficoult for the same reason.

Without thinking about the fact that there is (I suppose) a great lost of Stormlight in the loop.

Something in the Allumin (I and someone think that is because the Allumin has not a Spiritual Aspect) give it the propriety of bein Unforgiable. Whatever is the reason I suppose that is impossible to give this strangness to a material through a system that can't influence this oddly propriety.
