My point was about the fact that she had a true fear for Odium and when she see the Void-spren and the Everstorm She stated that "they don't belong to us". Also Wylde made a clear cut beetwen the Spren and the Void-Spren. Therefore is unlikely that something like the DeathSpren passed unseen to all the Radiant Spren we saw until now. About the visibility problem, a Spren may se all other Spren always. A people just little within the cognitive realm (as Rock) may do and it's too strange that a Spren can't do the same.

Sorry I made myself unclear. I don't want to point on the Flamespren but about the "mindless spren" as a whole. We know that the Listener bonded Spren before the Human arrive, this probably predate the arrive of Honor and Cultivation. Therefore with what Spren they bonded ? The Adonalsium Spren in my own opinion. Now I dont' know if all the mindless spren aren't of Honor and Cultivation or there is some of Adonalsium and some of H&C. To be honest i suppose that H&C give birth only to the radiant Spren but I can't prove it :S

Probably it was just Ruin that manipulate her a bit.

Nice catch, but there is a problem. Also if Syl didn't want Kal dead. She didn't say anything aganist the Deathspren. We saw after how she reacts to the presence of a Odium-Spren. And seems strange to me that she never point something strange in the Deathspren. They are in a warcamp and every day a lot of people die. Syl have to see Deathspren all the time. But you have right about the Spren's visibility. Every type of Spren had his own rules. Honorspren may be visible and invisible at will, Truthspren are always visible and Wylde (whateverheisSpren) can't turn himself visible to the humans. I want to put also Ebony that seems to can be visible or invisible at will but we had no sure proof.

I may aggre with this part but only if the Dawnshards are a subset of the Adonalsium spren, because i suppose that on Roshar may be also Adonalsium's flamespren. I propose that the Dawnshards are a subset of the Adonalsium's spren. like the Radiant Spren are a subset of Honor&Cultivation's Spren. But I had to remember you that also the name DawnSHARD point to Shard and Adonalsium was not a Shard.

Just because is the more useless of the Allomantic metal, the Gold had a lot of wonderfull proprieties and is rare (and is the same for the silver) . All of this put him as valuable in the final empire, also if the gold is the "useless" cousin of the other allomantic Metals, is anyway an Allomantic metal and that give him an shadow of mystery and maybe the high cost of gold stopped people of the final empire to discover the Electrum( TLR plan ? ). Anyway after the discovered of the Electrum the gold had a new "golden age" (yeah i know bad joke XD). The Electrum also if a lot of people think to him as "poor atium" had is own purpose in the Allomancy if you know how use it. Without speak about the Feruchemical use that store Determination. (But to be honest about Feruchemical use we must thank an old error during the print of the first trilogy of mistborn).

I have to re-read the post but it's seems to me very unlikely. For example if the people who visit the Nightwatch had a Spren inside. How the Radiant did Spren not catch this oddly fact ? I am talking of Syl and Pattern that had a lot of time near Dalinar for example. And a lot more unlikely, spren that are bond with "Cursed" people. Like the Stormfather and Wylde. In your case the Nightwatch gives to Lift two spren and seems to me a lot of unlikely.

But the Divine Breath is the only Splinter that aren't actually left without guidance. Sometime ago, I propose in another Thread that the HonorBlade is always bond with their Herald and also if now other people are using them. The Herald may "re-call" them at will because the real bond is with the Heralds self. At that time other Sharder told me that can't be. But this may be the solution of the enigma. The Honorblade may be Splinter of Honor gifted to the Herald and forever bonded with Them. It may be that the difference between a Human and an Herald is to be part of an "true-Honorblade-bond".

I think in the same way. At the moment I would say that the Honorblade may be very powerfull Fabrial but without know how the "Surge-Fabrial" works its useless to propose something like that.

Your idea is very nice, but unlikely can't be true But if this was true (and it can't) in your Specific example: Adesion come from Honor and Gravitation come from Cultivation

The Surge Regrowth and Kaladin's Various Powers
Yata replied to KasA97's topic in Stormlight Archive
To me Szeth is incapable of Soul's Healing just for his less efficent Stormlight's use. Healing the Soul seems to need a lot of Stormlight to a KR and an Honorblade is far less efficient of a Radiant. In the everytime life Szeth had not so much Stormlight and to be honest. He was actually never cut by a Shardblade therefore He can't know if He may recover from that type of Wound. -
Probably the Listener had no need of Highstorm to bind Void-spren. Simply for thousand of years they bond mindless spren with the Highstorm as catalyst (I suppose to use the stormlight as fuel for the Change) and when they discovered the new Power-Form they go in a Highstorm to get it also if is not needed. The Void-spren are probably as Invested as Radiant-Spren and if this is true they may had no need of extra Investiture to fuel the trasformation.

Probably you will remain with the body that you had at the time of death. Denth didn't became bigger and Lightsong din't became smaller. Probably when you die and your Divine Breath come back to Endowment, you lost the ability to change and your body remain like it was.

It's circumstantial. Other opposite pair of shard may generate both Positive and Neutral magic system (I would say also Negative, but the Negative is quite rarest to see).
-
About him I had two Ideas about: - Odium's GodSpren like Stormfather and Nightwatcher. - A GodSpren made by the Balance of Honour and Coltivation, a true neutral GodSpren. In both of cases I suppose that is the Spren that will form the Thrid BondSmith. But I point about the first case (about Odium)

But the Koloss is also very less Spiked (4 Spike at all)
-
It may be only the "old magic"

Yes I was talking about the time between his release and his dead. About Susebron I had the impression that someone may became a Sliver without lost his power. My interpretation is that "if you had more than X Investiture you became a Sliver and also if you lost this great Amount of Investiture. Something is deeply change within you". Because I read a Wob about "bein a Lerasium Mistborn don't make you a Sliver but put you very near"
-
I had actually with the point of "assassination=Mistborn win and Duel= Surgebinding win". For example the Surgebinder within a Plate are quite immune to all ambiental condition (and also without the Plate they had no need of breathing). The Enhanched Ultimate-Punch to the Face had to destroy the Plate and overcome all the Stormlight's Healing and the Nicrosil-Surge may be simply stopped by the Surgebinder at will. The Cromium to be honest is a Wild-Card and honestly I don't know if would simply suck all the Stomlight or be partialy-halted by the Plate. Anyway as we said a lot of post ago. We had actually see what a complete RK would become at the end. Before of this, we can't make a rightfull judge.

Nope, the Instinctive Command is an ability of the 6th elevation and the Returned are "only" to the Fifth. Anyway a Returned can be send for purpose different that giving its breath. Maybe He can help someone physicaly or be a cataòyst of event.

Some Questions: 1) Someone can tell me, how many time Ati was free during the Mistborn Trilogy ? 2) We had a precise count of the 11 Inquisitor's Spike gived at the newform Inquisitor during the Final Empire ? 3) Susebron may be close to be considerated a Sliver ?
-
Sure but at that time TLR was dead and any "anchor" he had on the Inquisitor gone. It would be interesting to know if any Koloss was under Ruin's control before its release. But I suppose that a Koloss isn't enough Spiked to control while in prison (Marsh seems only partially dominated and he had 11 Spike at that time).

Ah Maybe I don't explain my point clear. I think that Rashek obtain all the knowledge about the Metallic Arts through the Well and Preservation's power. Then Ruin whispered him to push him in using the Hemalurgy to build his empire. But without give Rashek a chance to understand that this thought wasn't his own. Probably the only Hemalurgyc use that Rashek had planned during his Ascension was the creation of the Kandra through the Mistwraith. But a dozen of Shapeshifter wasn't a great menace to him and off course a Kandra is uncontrable by Ruin while he was trapped.
-
I suppose that Ruin can't take control of the Inquisitor while in prison if Rashek was alive. All the Inquisitor was under the controll of TLR and probably Ruin was too weak (while in prison) to take the control. Therefore Rashek just thought that himself was a right Safe-plan to avoid that Ruin may use the Hemalurgy's Weakness. After all from the point of view of TLR, if He died Scadrial was 100% destroyed.
