I suspect the word your looking for is Oathgate. Also IIRC there is a reference to it not being possible to build Urithru in Alethkar, so it is west close to Honor's resting place.
-
I was thinking since it is essence of preservation, what if the second effect is to stop the user ageing while it burns. Obviously it would have to be in this mode the slowest burning of the metals which would contrast nicely with atium's fastest burn.

Jasnah and Renarin are cousins, and I suspect subject to the Westermarck effect. Kaladin/Arangar? That's a little left field, isn't it? I rather suspect Syl wouldn't approve of her. The whole Mad Bioengineer in thrall to an imprisoned god of lying with extra evil bit. Though "No one walks so deep in the Shadow that they cannot return to the Light."

According to Jashnah "Following the firing of the original Palanaeum, only one page of Terxim’s autobiography remained, and this is the only line of any use to me."

WoK Unflushed out theories (spoilers WoK, MB)
Dahak replied to tipbruley's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The scene in I-3 "Glory of Ignorance" p178 where he's going on about how much better than the peasants whose privies he cleans has him describing himself as "a Shardbearer and a Surge Binder. A Windrunner like the Radiants of old". So he knows. -
And acquire most of the beads of lerasium that had crystallised around the Well of Ascension. Remember in one of the drafts how it was his footprints that lead Vin and Eland to the Well? There was no reason for the Lord Ruler to leave the encasements for the Lerasium beads for a millennium without tidying them up. So I have to assume it crystallised more and Hoid took all but one.

Marsh had more spikes than any other inquisitor. However there were 20 to 30 inquisitors, so more than 200 spikes but less than 900.
-
Edges only. Or Dalinar wouldn't have mentions having to keep speed up to avoid the blade being trapped.
-
Other than Harmony being native to Scadrial because that's where Sazed comes from and where he became Harmony.
-
I'm almost certain it's an oblate spheroid like Earth. Planets tend to be.
-
The other possibility is that Szeth's blade was one of the ones left by the Heralds [The obvious guess would be the Stormfather's]. Since the Heralds don't seem to wear Plate. But Dalinar mentioned something about bonding with Oathbringer and I suspect it set it's size during that process, rather than being variable.
-
Do we have any reason to believe any of the shards is native to Roshar? Ati and Leras didn't seem to be native to Scadrial, what with having created that worlds humanity.
-
Plate reshapes itself to fit its wearer from what Dalinar says. It wouldn't be too unreasonable to assume Blades resize to suit their users as well. The King of Jah Keved didn't have any problem using his Blade without Plate.
-
About 20 of each are in the hands of Alethkar. Dalinar thinks about it at Feverstone Keep.
-
Not really. The Stormfather is the first of the Almighty's Heralds [Jez], and still alive [1]. He's worshipped as a god in one of the non Vorin kingdoms [which might cause some confusion, except it seems to be known he's the same individual] and apparentlyspoke to Kaladin when he was stormriding. It's his bearded face that shows up in the chapter headings for chapter's Kaladin is in. Talinvast is the Almighty and dead. His Apocalypse Log forms Dalinar's visions.[2] There is no reason to think they are the same individual. [1] Each of the Heralds appears to have an epithet of this form, Taln [the only Herald not to break the pact] is Stonesinew for example. [2] Note the way no one suggests that the timing of Dalinar's visions has implications of holyness.
-
She was also carrying three large gems at the time: a Smokestone, a Ruby and a Diamond all of which she had previously tried to use and she had gained no new insights since. The implication is that it might be easier to Soulcast for the first time using the gem associated with your order.
-
We see one of Renarin's fits. During the scene round Dalinar's vision of Feverstone Keep and the Recreance. The description interestingly looked a bit like he was feruchemically storing strength, rather than suffering epilepsy.

Hemalurgy stealing Feruchemical abilities *Spoilers*
Dahak replied to TheChronicFeruchemist's topic in Mistborn
Yes. Feruchemical storages are the same alloys as Allomantic metals. Sazed told Vin IIRC. That's howe they can be burned for compounding. -
Kaladin loots some Zircon chips while on chasm duty. I think it's the time they shot spheres to the bottom of the bridge.
-
Domes and Tunnels for example, It was stated that the War palace had windows added after it was soulcast. Notably despite this being years into the war they still don't have sufficient barracks for all the troops. Kaladin saw many people living in tents, when he first entered Saldeas' Camp. Soulcasting stone can't be cheap. Since there is conservation of mass when turning stone to smoke, it stands to reason there may also be in reverse, which impies you are turning a lot of air into a small volume of stone. Two other things I note here. 1] 9 in 10 soulcasters are single or limited function according to Shallan and the other 1 in 10 are attuned to a limited number [3 on the ones we've seen] of the essences. So swapping the gems may not be sufficient to soul cast different things. 2] The apprentice soulcasters who made the Iron, not born of stone, sold to the Shinn used wood and shells as a pattern rather than air. Which implies there may be a skill requirement as well. Thus just because the King's Ardents can produce Grain from Stone and Wood from something doesn't mean they can create stone as easily.
-
To mirror the deliberate minor asymmetry of their names and thus avoid being too holy [cf Shallan's first chat with the Ardent]? Hmm.
-
I wasn't joking when I suggested that. Feruchemy is rather important to Sazed. The other option is that it is the metal you can store anything in, or possibly that anyone can store in or tap. Atium and Lerasium both grant their respective magic system, Atium can be used to Hemalurgically spike any characteristic and Lerasium burns itself to grant Allomancy.
-
That would be my thought, as far as feruchemy is concerned. I suspect a twinborn could store all his allomancy.
-
I'm wondering based on the explanation of the 1/16th and the mists, if storing investiture would enable you to use your powers more effectively when tapped or since the only difference between ferring/misting and Feruchemist/Mistborn is level of connection to the power whether one could bootstrap to temporary full Feruchemist/Mistborn status based on investiture stored.
-
The Ars Arcanum mentions alloys of Atium or Lerasium and the Sixteen metals. We've seen one of those 32 so far. ISTR there was an implication that the Lerasium alloys might auto burn to induce misting status. Why do I suspect Sazedium is a 50%/50% alloy of Atium and Lerasium that anyone can burn to become a Feruchemist?
