Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Fifth Scholar what say you! ED1T: Oh and reason I asked about 2 starting elims is because I think vote analysis is going to be very different in a 3 elim world and 2 elim world- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay so. Votes with colors, yeah? We see the alternative options were Fifth, Kas, and TNK. Does anyone here suspect any of them? Because if you bellieve in the argument for elims pushing Fadran over to protect one of their own then you need to look there. Otherwise, elims could be invested anywhere because none of them are in danger, and Araris leaving his vote parked on TKN is notable imo- 716 replies

I mean, I’ve never had a successful Lurcher game and I’m definitely not a troll, so clearly my roles were random too I think it’d need to be the standard for a rerun and maybe no or fewer hybrids

I have another game that I think is fully conceptualized? It’s Secret Project 1 related so it will be put in a spoiler and most of the flavor is minimized. Very curious to hear peoples thoughts on how it can improve ED1T: Will likely have to modify numbers like how many spores available a cycle but yeah

Archer came as a surprise to me honestly. He did really well this game, I think partly because of talks with Kas after the AN/AG. That or he’s figured out to evade my vibedar ED1T: Also you know my Bip tunnel was strong when I began to doubt my v!Wizard read even after he’d helped me block two kills ED2T: Also also would anyone else be interested in seeing a rerun of these game rules but obviously without the blackout factor? There’s a lot of fun distros that could be done with these roles and I’d like to see the ones that weren’t included in action ED3T: Also you are good Bip >:( the combination of huge thread volume and your lack of free time had the biggest impact, from my estimation

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My guess would be they had v!Fifth credences. But I do suppose this could have been an e!Mistborn using Duralumin/Steel and either Fifth is elim or they wanted to frame Fifth as elim. But in that case, I feel they would use the one-time-triple-kill to just wipe out the biggest threats, not help narrow our targets for today- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Noted that you have no guesses for which kill was the elim's For me, I don't think one CS/one MB works, essentially for the reasons Fifth outlined earlier. Personally, I think Xino was an info denial NK, and that a single v!Mistborn used Duralumin/Steel to clear up two of yesterday's CWs (Ash and Book). This would come at the cost of said Mistborn never being able to use Steel again, but it essentially helps us by accelerating the game through the "vote the CW" phase. And the reason why killing CWs is attractive is that there's a good chance they're a different alignment than whoever flipped before, so it's ultimately a village-sided play For me, I think it's easier to reach the conclusion of a single v!Mistborn deciding to go ham C1 than for there to be a v!CS and a v!Mistborn with Steel independently shooting different CWs- 716 replies

Any guesses which kill was the elim one? If the Mistborn responsible for shooting two players last night wants to claim to someone in PMs, that'd be swell too- 716 replies

Sorry again for the mid-game mayoring that I unintentionally fell into. I was very lost this game, as Mat could see by all the times his teammates died and I declared them village, which led me to being very desperate to make those beautiful Tie Guys work. I needed the foundation to keep myself from paranoia brain spiraling and stepped on toes along the way Other than that, my only regret is not blocking Ash's kill N9 to see if I could Troll the NK, which turned out to be impossible (sad) ED1T: Also want to apologize directly to @Biplet since I read the e-doc and saw that this game was really hard on your mental; a lot, inevitably, because of me and my tunnel. I could just feel that you were an elim in my jellies and the more times you survived or others defended you, the more I dug my feet in. I promise this game definitely wasn't your fault. My instincts just be like that sometimes.

Tbh I’m cool with dying tonight if they don’t protect me. If they’re an elim Lurcher, you already know who they are for later, and if they’re a village Lurcher, then it’s not as big a loss for me to croak.- 716 replies

I don’t think it’d be too much work for me, since I’ll have to send PMs manually through the GM PMs anyway and can paste them into a spoiler for the Postman. But it does mean the villagers will likely be reluctant to use them or too careful with the information they would otherwise provide in secret (like mask and action claims). I kinda liked the dilemma that presented at first but now less so. Especially because of this. Rupees can’t be traded otherwise but this plan works unless I limit the number of PMs that can be sent a turn. Yeah, in retrospect, the combination is definitely too much
