Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ugh. Inquisitor Wizard with Bronze* C1 and Pewter today? Biplet is non-Inquisitor partner who Wiz "scanned"? Obviously didn't Seek anyone last night if this was the play? @Araris Valerian do you think Kas could have potentially duped you, or do you believe he was the convert?- 716 replies

TBH I believe that. I don't think e!Wiz pulls this unless he thinks framing Mat wins the game. Or they're insane and distancing but RN, Wiz/Bip/Fifth makes the most sense Sorry for doubting you Mat- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
RIP JNV 2 Village Thugs and a Village Lurcher do imply the elims have some form of kill power beyond their NK, right? ED1T: I can see the argument that, if the Inquisitor is in a good spot and doesn't expect to get Seeked, the bigger concern is the known Tineye catching a non-Inquisitor submitting the NK. That said, I'm more suspicious of Fifth now than yesterday and I've been sus of Wiz since he came in C2 ED2T: TBH I'm wondering if Inquisitor + e!Mistborn is a feasible starting distro rn. More likely he was converted but in either case, Fifth- 716 replies

Small team games are hard =\ I'm conflicted ED1T: Mat has a village read of Wiz, but for a while preferred voting Biplet despite Wiz confirming she's not the Inquisitor. Would be weird if they were teamed, but V/V feels unlikely. ED2T: Wiz voting me after voting JNV doesn't inspire a lot of confidence either. Inquisitor!JNV and convert Wiz? Inquisitor!Mat and convert Wiz? Idk.- 716 replies

JNV (2): TJ, Mat Aman (2): Fifth, Wizard TJ (2): JNV, Araris Mat (2): TKN, Aman ED1T: Forgot to remove Mat from Aman. Whoops. ED2T: Anddd forgot to remove Wizard from JNV. Double whoops. On the bright side, @|TJ| is very likely to snap with this wagon. @Biplet's vote is the only one missing- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash

TY Mat brought up a good point to me that if e!Kas knew from C1 I was a thug (granted he might have suspected I was lying to RT him), converting me would have also been a good play for the extra life and my thread control. You can take this with a grain of salt like I am your request to be converted being met with disappointment, but the fact I didn’t might be a decent look for Kas. Thing is, I didn’t really get suspicious of his slot until Wiz came in. I’ve PM’d v!Wiz a lot these last two games and he’s felt off to me (less eager to solve with me). I told Mat this near the end of C2 and he told me to give Wiz more time, so I dropped it. After we found out Wiz scanned Biplet and found out she’s not the Inquisitor, Mat and I talked more and he’s been very adamant on voting Biplet before Wiz. I explained how Biplet flipping anything but Inquisitor would have no correlation to Wiz’s alignment while flipping Wiz can either guarantee his scans are accurate or that he’s an e!Seeker or Inquisitor on a team with Bip and he still resisted. Part of me wonders if this is e!Mat trying to get an essential mix in. V!Wiz confirming Araris and Biplet aren’t the Inquisitor narrows the pool significantly, making Bip harder to mix later, and part of me wonders if they decided to convert the Seeker to avoid being found. e!Mat also shaded me a lot in LG92, even after Striker’s role confirmed me, and I’ve been getting that same vibe this game too. So yeah. Between the unsnapped, I prefer Mat over TJ. ED1T: TBH rn I’m leaning Fifth as the convert more than Wiz tho. He’s kinda vanished since C1 ED2T: @Araris Valerian is TJ just null for you?- 716 replies

TBH I am village-reading TJ more than I am Mat if I go by vibes, but also I liked TJ's C1. Suppose he could be a convert but don't think he's the Inquisitor myself. ED1T: I did ze timeline earlier We can afford a single mix today. We'll be in exlo starting tomorrow until we kill all the elims in a row. This also means if we do manage to land a red flip today, we'll have a bit more room to breathe.- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, that's fair. He was extremely paranoid about getting converted in our PM. I do think in a 2 starting elim world, e!Seeker doesn't work too well because it forces the Inquisitor to submit kills if the e!Seeker wants to find the ideal convert. But I also sincerely hope that no Inquisitor would legitimately convert Kas knowing how much he detests elim.- 716 replies

C3 6-3 - If we exe me for my extra life, which I'm cool with, then --> C4 5-3 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring us to --> C5 4-2 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring us to --> C6 3-1 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring us to --> Otherwise C3 6-3 - If we exe a villager --> C4 4-3 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring us to --> C5 3-2 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring us to --> C6 2-1 - Exlo. Need to vote correctly to bring to win Next cycle will be exlo regardless, but taking my extra life would discourage conversion (assuming it's not been used already) and also let the elims narrow the PoE with another NK- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash

Stick died so you're next on the list of "hardest snapping point to achieve." That said, it does fit the theme regardless so you could be honest. 4 unsnapped probably isn't outlandish either, since they're essentially vanilla+. Reminder that I said before this game that I'd be chilling this game but yeah if you want to vote me I'm cool with it o7 Will note your defensiveness of potential Inquisitor JNV tho ED1T: Also I most definitely never said I trusted your claim the most xD I'm pretty sure I just didn't ask you your opinion on you lying about being unsnapped, for obvious reasons @Matrim's Dice- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh, I more or less agree with Unsnapped being a village role. What I'm saying is one of the Unsnapped claimants could be lying about it to avoid being Seeked or action tracked. I had thought it was Stick because every other snap condition was a single instance (8 votes at once, survive a tie, survive a kill) while hers was "be the second place wagon twice in a row." That twice in a row part especially felt off, but now that she flipped my theory is that it only needed to happen once and she didn't want the elims to know she'd have a role C3. Otherwise, if we take both yours and Mat's Unsnapped claims as honest by you're word alone, then the Inquisitor needs to be among: JNV, Biplet (if e!Wiz), Araris (if e!Wiz), or me. Technically InquisiKas works too, but that would require Araris to be his starting partner and Biplet to be the convert, which I don't think works since the whole point of Wiz scanning Bip was because she was an Inquisitor candidate in the first place. I'm down to start on JNV for today. I could see a two v!Thug world and in that scenario I doubt JNV was converted after we exed his extra life. Would like to hear other's ideas ED1T: Araris does bring up a good point that an Unsnapped could have been converted and know their condition for the claim. But unless we don't want to find the Inquisitor specifically, that doesn't super apply rn Guess it comes down to if we think the conversion happened yet or not- 716 replies

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
Amanuensis replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I like how you confirmed yourself I might as well admit I did lie about my role. In an e!Kas world, the elims have always known I'm a Thug since I claimed to him C1 and told him I was going to attempt to bait the NK by claiming to Lurch TKN. Then Stick went and lied about a Lurcher PMing her (Ash never did) which made the likelihood of me getting N1'd more unlikely in a v!Kas world, so it's harder to get a read of that slot from my survival. C2 Mat found out Thug was my real role, mostly because Kas told him that Lurcher wasn't and Mat PM'd me asking, and I said storm it cause maybe if I got attacked C2 it would clear Mat. That didn't happen tho =\ So that was a big motivating factor for why I wanted to vote JNV yesterday. After Ash flipped Lurcher and Fifth double killed, I felt two village Thugs would be too much without an e!Mistborn and wondered if JNV was the Inquisitor with Pewter or maybe even a starting e!Thug to put in kills. Plus there was just the danger of an openly claimed Thug being converted to put in kills. Which, for the record, I am willing to lose my extra life if y'all believe it necessary, now that it's out here. I think we'll need to find at least one elim first tho, and preferably the inquisitor. My theory yesterday was that the Inquisitor was hiding among the unsnapped claims, and Stick felt the most farfetched to me, so I thought it was her. Now I'm wondering about Mat's claim. It was both the last one and the hardest one to coordinate, so idk TBH I kinda wish JNV was Seeked last night instead of Biplet. I'd really like to know if he's a genuine Thug or the Inquisitor with Pewter- 716 replies
