  1. Hey, sorry for not getting up that Breath advice I was gonna try to do last night. Was too tired to think clearly enough to be of any help. Anyways, looks like luckat basically already gave some and like usual, I think I agree with pretty much everything she said! I especially liked the suggestion of making and retrieving Breath from Awakened objects as a way to protect yourself(if I'm thinking about this right at least ). With regards to the lynch. I'm not terribly suspicious of either lynch target right now. If I had to choose between the two of them, I'd say Bugsy, but that's mostly because I'm getting more of a village read on Magestars responses than I am from Bugsy's. Just based on gut really. I'm still waiting for a response from @Conquestor. He was actually just online about an hour ago but he didn't respond to my vote, which could be because he'd rather not draw attention to himself this late in the Day when the lynch is being decided for good. Conq, do you have any opinions about the lynch? Ninja'd by Twei. I believe that tied lynches result in a coin flip.
  2. I agree with most of the counter points to Bard's plan. I've actually thought of a similar idea in a past game where the village would ask a player to sacrifice themselves for whatever reason, but I don't think I pushed for the plan because I didn't think it was really in the spirit of the games(and I remember there was a good amount of resistance to that plan even just because I put it out there). However, him suggesting the plan makes me lean village for him. It's a helpful idea and even though it probably won't work out, I wouldn't think that an eliminator would suggest something like that. As far as suspicions go, I don't really have much at this point, but I got a bit of an eliminator read from Conq's post. The way he said we were in "huge" amounts of trouble just struck me as off somehow. Also, and I'm not really saying this is alignment indicative, but when people have large amounts of Breath I assume they'll be using that to Awaken stuff, so the Breath scanners won't really be able to get an accurate account of how many Breaths a player has total(unless the Breaths in an Awakened object are included in the scan, but I don't think they are). Anyways, I was planning on doing a bit of RP, but I had a bad headache yesterday and haven't even had much of a chance to go through the rules properly. I'm gonna try to get up some advice for Breath usage later tonight(hopefully) and then, if I've got the time, I'll try to do some RP (no promises on that though ). Edit: Oh right. Frozen Mint, a WGG stands for Wounded Gazelle Gambit. It's where the eliminators attack one of their own while at the same time protecting that player so it appears that the eliminators were trying to kill that person(implying they're a villager). In this case, it would probably work like - an eliminator attacks one of their own and steals their Breath and then that player(the attacked player that is an eliminator) reveals they were attacked and then we get a player to give them their Breath, which would keep the eliminator alive and get a villager killed.
  3. Well at that point, I'm pretty sure almost everyone's roles were out(assuming you're Jeskeri and knew pretty much everything through Aman), so you knew that they weren't Arrested(and I'm pretty sure that Burnt posted the Turn you scanned her, so that's complete confirmation she wasn't Arrested) and if they were immune to night actions, that meant they were an unknown role. I think you're usually told if you get roleblocked, whereas I'm guessing that you were told your action failed. So it's very possible you could have known they were an Unknown role from having your action fail.
  4. Yeah, actually, just thought of something. Burnt told me that a Jeskeri targeted her the same Turn that Bard "scanned" her and Alv said a Jeskeri targeted him the same Turn that Bard "scanned" him. So unless Acolyte's can target people, a Jeskeri other than Aman, Kipper, Aonar, or even Eol(because why would Eol protect Burnt and Alv?) targeted them. Bard is pretty much the only person that could be the last Jeskeri(or at least, probably the last one). Elenion is a Day role. Arraenae is a protection role(almost certainly). Orlok is a Legionnaire and it doesn't make much sense for him to arrest Burnt or Alvron I don't think. Sart appears to be a Pirate and even if he's not, I doubt he has a power that could target people. So it lines up that Bard is the last Jeskeri.
  5. Whew. Glad I was right about Aonar. He said he was gonna haunt me if I killed him, so at least I can rest easy knowing that I had good reason to kill him. (He'll still probably haunt me. >.>) Players left: Lopen - ChayShan Citizen/Korathi/??? Arraenae - Beggar turned Bodyguard Korathi/Citizen? Elenion - Duke Citizen?/??? Stink - Mad Prince/Non-Jeskeri Alvron - ???Non-Jeskeri Sart - Pirate? Citizen? Orlok - Legionnaire ??? Bard - Neutral? Role scanner. I think there's probably only one more Jeskeri left at this point. Right now, I think it's either Orlok or Bard. Can't really decide who I'm more suspicious of. I would like to hear from Orlok about why he didn't Arrest me though.
  6. But...I'm a bit confused. I am a Convert, true. However, if you'll read the description for Converts Joe put in the write-up, you should know that at this point, all I'm trying to accomplish is the death of all Jeskeri. So I'm at least half a villager. Killing my "Patriarch" wouldn't change my motivation one bit. I'm still going to be killing people I suspect are Jeskeri. The confusing part is that you just told me your win con, and lynching me doesn't help you one bit.
  7. Okay. Well, here's my view on things with as much information as I think I should give out, all things considered(mostly my win con ): 1. Lopen - ChayShan Citizen converted. 2. Stink - Mad Prince. 3. Arraenae - Bodyguard. I think she started out as a Citizen at least. I guess. I'm a bit confused about who the last Jeskeri might be though. 4. Alvron - Well I'm pretty sure he's not Jeskeri. Aman did try to get him lynched after all. So I have absolutely no reason to want to lynch him. 5. Conquestor - His reveal. Hm. Well, I'm fairly positive he's not Jeskeri as well. So again, I personally do not want to lynch him or kill him. 6. Sart - Pirate? I feel like he could be like, a Serial Killer hiding in the Shadows until super late game or something, but, eh, the part of my brain that makes sense tells me that he's probably a Citizen. Or at least, that he's not Jeskeri. >> 7. Orlok - Claimed Legionnaire. Probably is one. Oh, and if he could maybe just arrest me this upcoming turn then he'd be cleared from being Jeskeri, which would be cool. @OrlokTsubodai, could you arrest me please? 8. Bard - Claims Neutral role scanner, but has yet to indicate at all what his win con is. Although maybe he hasn't been on at the right times to tell me or something. I don't know why he can't just reveal it in thread though...I think he's a Jeskeri myself, but, ehhhhh, he could maybe be telling the truth. 9. Aonar - Claims Pirate. Yeah, pretty unprovable, unless he's attacked/lynched. I can't honestly say I'm sure he's Jeskeri, but I heavily suspect he is at this point. 10. Elenion - Strongest read as Citizen. Duke. Yo, I'd prefer if we could lynch Aonar or Bard this Turn, although more towards Aonar because if Bard really is Neutral I don't want to completely rob him of any chance of victory(although I suppose lynching Aonar and him turning out to be village would be essentially doing the same thing, since it's not very likely the game will end with a village win(although not impossible)). So, bold means I don't want them dead. Sart, Bard, or Aonar are fine though. Aonar, does this help explain anything? I feel like you could maybe work some stuff out from this. Possibly. You're pretty smart. So. Hopefully you don't force me to reveal anything actually sensitive that I probably shouldn't reveal because it's not really my fight.
  8. I'll try to explain everything tomorrow(or at least as much as I can). All I'll say right now is that Aman lied about some things and was also wrong about some things that I'm not sure was intentional or not. As for my alignment, all that has to happen for me to win is for all of the Jeskeri to die, so you can be certain that that's what I'm trying to make happen. That is my one and only goal(well, and having fun ).
  9. I was doing really good. Nyali was the only one who attacked me until I got one shotted. Oh well, it was really fun anyways. That kill on Elbereth was especially good. Thanks for running the game Stink and Aman!
  10. Yes, the Miller is Alvron. Supposedly, anyways. Burnt was claiming ChayShan yeah. She's the one who attacked Straw, Alvron, Araris, and now I guess Kipper. Later on she claimed a Neutral role that couldn't be targeted by the Jeskeri, which is what I assume Aman was referring to as to why he trusted her so much. Eol is claiming a village role. No secret role or alignment. So far his role has not been proven. And...yeah, I guess I kinda revealed that Bard is the role scanner. Whoops. I'm not the best at keeping roles a secret when it gets late in games. To be fair, everyone's roles are basically revealed anyways though, so hopefully it doesn't matter. I'll just do a chart to try and make things as clear as possible. Roles: Lopen - ChayShan. Confirmed. (Right? As far as I know my role is confirmed) Rae - Bodyguard. Almost confirmed. Protected Aman from my attack. Bard - Neutral? role scanner. Role scanner part pretty much confirmed. Stink - Neutral. Mad Prince. Confirmed, obviously. Elenion - Duke. Basically confirmed. Alvron - Neutral? Miller. Unconfirmed. Aman - Dula. Unconfirmed. Aonar - Pirate or Bodyguard. Unconfirmed. Conquestor - Pirate. Sorta confirmed, but given we know nothing of Acolytes or what roles are around, it's not 100% confirmed. Eol - Village role that is unconfirmed. Orlok - Legionnaire. Practically confirmed. Sart - Pirate. Unconfirmed.
  11. I still am fairly confident that Aman is Jeskeri. Can we please lynch him now? I don't understand how everyone seems to think he's village, since he hasn't really done anything to suggest he is, IMO. As far as everyone else goes, I trust Elenion, Rae, and Sart. Aonar, I still suspect as well. He's claimed Pirate to me, but that he claimed Beggar turned Bodyguard to people he didn't trust. Eol has claimed to me, but it's not proven by anything. Bard has also claimed to me and has proven his role pretty much. He's not a ChayShan. I think Burnt might have killed Kipper, although I suggested Aonar, so I'm not really sure. My suspicions, in order of most suspicious to least: Aman - Dula? Maybe. Still think he's a Cultist, based on a strong eliminator read. Also helped lynch SD over Kipper and helped put out the idea that Kipper shouldn't be killed because of his role. Aonar - Pirate? I doubt it. I'd guess Acolyte, although it's hard to tell with him, because he's been lurking quite a bit. He did vote on Aman way back on Day 3 or 4, but, even if Aman is a Cultist, I think it was a distancing tactic. Orlok - Legionnaire. Probably. Although he's also been lurking a ton. He was posting in QF17, but not here for some reason. I'd really like an explanation from him about that. It doesn't seem like him to not show up for a week or however long it's been since he lasted posted in this game. Eol - Claimed to me last Day Turn. I kind of believe it, but I'm not really sure. He hasn't been involved in discussion all that much and he helped keep Aman alive from the lynch earlier, and that's basically all of my reasoning for suspecting him. Conquestor - He's also a bit of a lurker. I haven't really read his comments as evil, but, he's someone who hasn't really done a whole lot this game, so he's still on the list of potential eliminators. Alvron - He's Alv. Hard to tell either way, although at one point, he was confused about the Jeskeri kill rules and it seemed genuine to me, so I have more of a village read on him. Or at least, non Jeskeri. Bard - I've had a medium to strong non-elim read on him pretty much the whole game. He's been a bit quieter than normal however, and he's also voted in ways I don't like, but overall, the tone of his posts and my PM with him has given me a good read. Here ya go Stink. Have a nice medium length post just for you that I totally typed up because I saw your post.
  12. I'm attacking Burnt. She shouldn't have protection, so if she does, she's likely a Jeskeri. Len, I decided to go after someone I suspect as Jeskeri rather than test a roleclaim. Burnt, if you're not Jeskeri and I kill you...very sorry to you as well. Rae is supposed to be protecting me, so there should be no way I die this Turn. I've asked Burnt to attack Aonar to test his claim. He claimed Pirate to me but said that he's claimed Bodyguard to those he doesn't trust. Not sure if Burnt is complying though, which is fine, given I'm trying to kill her. I don't know why she minds who she attacks, she's claimed Neutral to me and has said she has used hardly any reasoning for her attacks.
