Yes Yes I have more or less replaced hand waves with a slight bow of my head, especially if it is just a person I greet in passing. The "Hey I know you and you know me but neither of us feel like talking to the other nor do we have the time" kind.

I think this may be a clue to the metallic arts of southern Scadrial, it is interesting because this means that there may be mechanical feruchemy as well.

... she fangirled so hard it went off the page... Speaking from my limited experience as a 21 year old, yeah, they do, but then they get better. Of course they may get worse again, but thats ok, we can handle it, we dont have much of a choice XD And frankly, everyones an insecure mess at that age, those who seem like they are not probably become actors.

23? Based on nothing. I saw it 15ish, so more or less right. I may as well jump on the bandwagon as well, even if my age is in my profile.

It is almost like they find helping and taking care of their offspring to be something weird, like they think you just have children so you can manipulate them and use them as accessories, but of course they understand thats not how things work, right?⸮

Hello person, I figured I'd talk to you because... I felt like it... whats up and such?
-
Take something mundane, or a story from your child hood, something you found weird back then but is actually pretty banal and make it terrifying. The enigma of locked doors, The Grey Man and Ck'zunoday are based on things that has actually happened to me, then twisted around to the fantastical. Of course you dont need to make it terrifying, you could just take something normal and make it weird. Something I should be working on at the moment is a collection of tiny shorts about how ridiculous things end the world. Like skeletons getting tired of being covered in flesh and just deciding to walk out of the bodies that hold them.

Selea, I like the ea, I think i is too bright sounding, so not See-lee-a, but See-le-a, like the vowel in break, or something... silly english spelling... Selea, anyway.

What kind of weird? The good kind of weird or the... "Im not sure what the problem is but something is wrong" kind of weird?

Well, there exists theories that time as we know it doesnt really exist, there is just movement. Being perfectly 4D would be weird as you could be anywhen you like, which would do weird things. You would probably start to think of time as just another 'location'. Imagine if everyone could move freely in time, think The Doctor and River had a complicated relationship? XD I think it would be interesting, you flip and you got a whole different world almost right where your usual world is. And just to boggle your mind a little more, have a rotating hypercube: Insane, isnt it? Oh right, I may have derailed your question thread...

Best Twinborn Combinations (Excluding Compounding)
Zathoth replied to DeadFencer's topic in Mistborn
So I spent a bit too much time thinking about this, heres some cool combinations (Order is A F) Steel and Tin= Sniper. This combination makes so much sense Im sure we will actually see it in story. Bendalloy+Steel= Super speedster, capable of doing things in a split second. Iron+Gold= If you mess up lurching something you can heal from it Bronze+Duralumin=Lets befriend as many Metalborn as possible! Cadmium+Gold=Need to distract someone and not be killed? This is the combination for you. Bendalloy+Duralumin= Super sneaking skills Steel+Chromium=Always hit something, never push yourself somewhere stupid Iron+Chromium=Never get hit by anything you are pulling Tin+Zinc= Sherlock Holmes (Not that Im the first to have this idea...) Pewter+Steel=Speeeeeeed Pewter+Gold=Why wont you die?! Chromium/Nicrosil+Steel=Get close enough to leech/burst easily- 111 replies

I was thinking some theoretical fourth spacial dimension, Im not sure if taht would be more or less weird than being able to move freely in time. I think you could save some traveling time with it though, you make point A and point B exist on the same 2D plane and then you sort of teleport, maybe, or maybe that wouldnt work... Im no expert.

You see the entire joke hinged on the fact that no one would realize that the man kind of dies when he turns into fire. But he should definitely have been a stick, sticks are good at not being soulcast into fire.

Ah yes, but conversating about how hard it is to conversate somehow works, sometimes. Ah, pugs, rhymes with a lot of cool things, like bugs, bugs are cool and hugs, mugs... slugs! It does that, it has just never bothered me before, so strange. Cats, books, games and my own imagination has always been enough. Ah well, things change, just have to figure out how to adapt, which is easier said than done. So was I for most of my life, but not anymore, which is lovely, the part of my life where I never meet anyone is where I start feeling lonely. Life has a sense of humor alright. I just think Im drowning in introvert muffins, or maybe I am an ambivert now.

Agh, boredom. Or maybe it is loneliness, I can never tell them apart, but if it was just boredom Im sure The Black Prism would do something about it... and it is not...

How awesome would it be to be able to flip the world into 4D like in Super Paper Mario? Or the opposite, flipping the world into lesser dimensions? Would this be a super power you would want?
