It depends a lot on the wearer. You need to be awesome in a crazy way to pull off bowties, you need to be Wax to pull off cravats, ties usually work for anyone, even if they are kind of pointless... this is a hard choice... To me it is just more repetition. I dont mind Santa and free stuff or any of that, it just happens every single year in the exact same way and the decoration is everywhere and the christmas songs are annoying, mostly, there are good parts of being a social recluse. There is not much of the religious part here either, my entire family are atheists, most of sweden is, if they are not they keep it quiet. So thats why I think that different holidays every second year except on leap years is a good idea, less repetition, you wont be as tired of any of them and I have a reason to celebrate halloween during summer. Christmas would of course be on leap years.

Well thats the story of my entire life, but with understanding parents and most of the bad stuff in school and I turned out fine... right? Im not sure how to actually solve it, still, but I have some ways of surviving and things I wish I could tell 13 year old myself that may or may not apply to you Following my advice may have unexpected consequences, I take no responsibility. 1. It gets better. 2. Im serious, it does. 3. Chemistry is pointless, learn to play an instrument instead. (Or drawing or something) 4. If not that spend the time you waste on not understanding chemistry to do better in the subjects you do understand. 5. If you dont want to outright ditch chemistry find the minimum requirements to pass and do that, then spend time on something you can actually pass with decent grades. (Your chemistry may be another subject, for me it was chemistry and no I did not pass chemistry) 6. Everything is funny, somehow, you just need to find the right angle (Follow with caution, side effects may include finding things funny when you shouldnt, telling inappropriate jokes about death and decay, making Delightful uncomfortable and wondering where it all went wrong after you laugh at an especially distasteful joke) 7. Being mysterious is great and all, but when you are lonely it may be better to wear your personality. I once took a walk wearing a Black Sabbath t-shirt and found another person wearing the same t-shirt, we talked for about 30 minutes about everything but Black Sabbath. A guy was playing Zelda music in the hallway, we now talk whenever we see each other. 8. It gets better. 9. Making friends gets easier if you know one person. How you find that person is something I will update you on as soon as I figure it out myself. That may or may not have been horrible advice, hopefully it was at least entertaining.

I agree, christmas is too much the same over and over, I get traditions and all, but traditions are boring, we should have different holidays every odd and even years, except on leap years that have further different holidays. That way none of them will be boring once they come around again. All for say "Icecream" All against jump into a pool filled with blue paint and then dance, dance, dance!
