I am terrible at Lucid Dreaming, the times it has happened has still been mindblowing experiences. Mildly unrelated yesterday I had a dream I fell in love with some kind of crustacean and for some reason we could share senses. I have been reading too much weird fiction. Completely unrelated @Mestiv Firefox is not updating itself. I am doing the entire normal update manually process, but it is saying that I already have the latest version, which I don't. Help? EDIT: Nevermind, solved it.

From what I was able to gather from the internet (so of course it may not be true) it is a combination of Europe having more languages, more markets who's laws they need to follow and so on. I usually pick Fire or Water because I always end up with a team full of Fire, Dark, Psychic and Ghost types. Gen IV I had Greninja, Charizard, that awesome Blaziken you got and Talonflame. I should have picked Bulbasaur, but I wanted Mega Charizard.

Sure, but you have Ghost on that, which gives you two immunities and you also have a resistance to Earthquake. Electric types are more useful in general, until you run into a Quagsire.

You have Fire/Dark, which is an awesome typing, yes, but you could just get Houndoom, Water/Fairy, which is also a great typing, but I don't care for the design of Primarina Or you could get the awesome Grass/Ghost archer assassin owl!

I enjoyed Hellraiser and Books of Blood quite a lot, so the question is if Barker is as good at fantasy as horror. I really like it so far though, the characters feels very relatable.

Spandam, One Piece fans will understand. I usually dont dislike Brandons characters, Sarene is a bit dull compared to Hrathen... everyone in Elantris is a bit dull compared to Hrathen, but I enjoy reading them in general. Of course then there is Vivenna in the first half of Warbreaker, I like her after the character development, but before she is insufferable. I also have some problems with Kaladin, not because he is a bad character, but because he reminds me of myself when I was depressed and I have to face how storming annoying I was.

There was a person who finished NaNo in 24 hours, so apparently it kind of does.

Life sucks, its an unavoidable fact and anyone who says anything else is a pathological optimist. The thing is that you cant let it get to you, Blake was right, everything is a joke, it might not be a good joke, but it is a joke. Society is a terribly boring blank slate of cardboard that assimilates and destroys everything it lies its grubby and disgusting little hands on. The thing with white is that it is easy to paint. Cynicism sometimes brings light where optimism fails.

Quick look around in my room: The Ocean At The End Of The Lane or Coraline by Neil Gaiman... in case you havent read those. The King in Yellow by Robert W Chambers. Childhoods End by Arthur C Clarke. Possibly some short story collections, like something by Poe or Lovecraft. I doubt a tiny library has Thomas Ligotti, but you might be lucky.

I consider myself pretty ok at lyrics. Most recent thing I finished... Outlining vs Discovery writing: I have a very vague outline that may or may not change, and then I write from that outline. In most of my weird short stories (which I really need to edit...) I came up with the ending about halfway. Yes, in a genre where the ending is basically half the story that is stupid.
