    I'm done with Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol. That was, all the way through, absolutely genius. It is bizarre, surreal, Dadaistic, but no matter how weird things gets it never takes you out of the story, even when a painting eats Paris. I can't put how much I loved it in words.

    How to make a meme: Take a somewhat amusing pop culture reference. Find an appropriate image. Change the wording and image to fit what you want to make a joke about because you are not funny or clever enough to make a joke about it without a pre-existing framework. Use until no longer funny. Keep using it. Repeat step number 5 ad infinitum.

    Christmas songs with electric guitars are still christmas songs. I'm feeling really unfestive this year. On the upside I'm still planning to turn February* into Weirdoween** My birthday is in February, it has nothing to do with that I really dislike the holiday that takes place during said month and feel like ruining it for everyone with weirdness. **Name pending, suggestions welcome.

    I have a similar story, it was more 5 years though and I read a lot of manga as a teenager, so Im not sure it really counts. I have not read Wheel of Time, but for the other two: flip a coin, they are both amazing. Brent Weeks Lightbringer tripentology is pretty Sanderson, it has a very interesting magic system based around color, more so than Warbreaker. I really like Dresden Files as well, but they are Urban Fantasy and the magic is a lot looser. First three books are a bit eh, but from the fourth one on they just get better and better and better...

    Dresden Files, Clive Barkers Books of Blood, Songs of a Dead Dreamer & Grimscribe and Teatro Grottesco by Thomas Ligotti, Perdido Street Station, House of Leaves... ... This guy, who is seriously one of my favorite writers. This thing, which will keep you entertained for months.

    *Summons Freud couch* This dream is obviously caused by the inner Twimom. I had a pretty interesting dream. I was a ghost or something trying to make my way through a giant mansion full of puzzles and secret passageways. When I got to the top and looked out over the frozen garden the dream changed and I lived in this giant, strange mansion. I was running around exploring it with my cats, then I found a third cat and all was well in the world.

    Any reason why you need those colors? You could have a green one, used by farmers to make plants stronger and grow faster, maybe... thinking about it that could fit white... Mystery and elegance sounds like something artists would use, I dont know how it would work though...
