I know some people hate present tense for reasons and second person is just rare. This thing is a series of nightmares based on the fears of my friends, with the idea that you actually are dreaming this, right at this moment, so it cant be told any other way. That said it should be used sparingly, and only when the story really calls for it. Like right now. ... I just had a really cool idea for a story in past tense, second person. You are remembering something really weird that happened to you, I guess sort of like The Ocean at the End of the Lane, but more horrifying.

If any writers are feeling a disturbance in the force it may be because I am writing something in second person, present tense.

Skyverea now has giant invisible snakes that turn into invisible raptors with four arms that turn into invisible stegosaurus/triceratops things that turn into invisible T-Rexes, but with usable arms. Sure, but the cliche goes that the game is somehow haunted, or the lost episode is disturbing and so on. Yes, it sounds corny, which is exactly why it is impossible.

Originally? It comes from the term copy pasta; something written that gets copied and pasted all over the internet. I cant think of any good examples at the moment, but often they are funny and weird, unless of course they are creepy and weird. Now? If you ask Dead Palette (the man speaking on the video above) it is a kind of internet horror. It has to be believable, beyond the normal suspension of disbelief, a good creepy pasta needs to, on some level, be able to make you question if it is real or not. It doesnt mean it cant be somewhat supernatural, people are naive, after all. Colloquially its a scary story you find on the internet.

Well at the moment Im trying to do the impossible: Writing a good Pokemon creepy pasta. I have written it, now it just needs some pruning. It was less impossible than I thought it would be.
