    Kelek’s breath Ash’s eyes Last I checked Ash isn’t doing a supergirl impersonation with laser vision. Perhaps Ash’s eyes are pretty or they change colours or something like that. The golden keys are referred to when talking about skills, first when Kabsal comments on Shallan’s drawing skills. And Vedel is also mentioned by Taln when talking about training surgeons. So, perhaps it is about metaphorical access to non-magic skills and abilities.

    After all, if there is a oathgate on Ashyn or Braize... who knows. The removed pillars also link to something I don’t know. Multiple references to lecture room set up also makes me think this is going to be significant.

    Given the speculation on Ishar... it’s conceivable that him and other radiants still haven’t come around and it’ll be a case by case scenario. No other Herald has come out and presented (identified) themself other than Nale directly.

    I think she’s going to give a dramatic entrance by coming to Urithiru surprising everyone. So, the shardblade was necessary. The other thing with Edgedancer was to also progress Nale’s story as he’s shown to be considerably changed by the time he appears in OB (WoB at the end of Arc Unbd).

    Ok - cosmere terminology then. Hoid was present in two epilogues to receive persons who were not present in the physical realm of Roshar.

    There is no positive evidence. All of us learnt her name 5 chapters ago, so looking for positive evidence is ambitious. Circumtantially, a supposed dead person came back at the end of each book. Taln and Jasnah. So, there are some views (particularly mine) that Evi is a prime candidate. The other is a epigraph here saying “ some thought I had fallen,..”. Again, this suggests someone thought to have died but hadn’t.

    Um... Jasnah was dead, but came back. So, until we see the body proof like Gavilar, we can’t discount the possibiliy.

    I didn’t say Evi’s name because OP mentioned it had spoilers for each chapter’s opening quote only. Other than that I am curious to find out if I’ve missed out on a tidbit...

    Yeah. I am not quite sold on dead remaining dead in the Cosmere. After mistborn and Jasnah, I wonder if there are more coming alive ones in SA. Gavilar and Sadeas have definitely no bodies in the physical realm. So, they are unlikely to return that easily, unless a spiking type mechanism in SA comes along. Shshshsh’s body status is unknown, so that is one theory.

    Thanks... I’ve read that thread, but Legion 3 didn’t appear on tracker although BS did say on twitter he’s written chapter 1 of Legion 3. So, I wasn’t quite sure what was happening. It’s no biggy, it was just an observation.

    I think I am leaning towards stormlight healing Dalinar’s memory. At the end of WoR Dalinar asked about the dream he had and whether it was a vision. And Stormfather says it wasn’t a vision but a simple dream. I think that’s the start of Dalinar’s boon/curse being altered.

    Brandonsanderson.com’s progress meter has been stuck on the same for the book updates for a while since completing Apocalypse Guard, so I wonder if he’s on a holiday or it’s basically a case of progress bar needing an update....

    Dalinar can’t interact with the visions. He’s essentially re-running a simulation where he is zooming from different angles. But then that thunderclast vision contradicts it somewhat...

    The spice reference in 20/21 chapter today made me think it was a woman who wrote it. And definitely Alethi with their men’s food or women’s food definitions. So, increasingly thinking Evi... until I get proven wrong next week

    Because I have my directions mixed up! Thanks for clearing it up. In the end, the Alethi at Urithiru see the Everstorm twice before certain parts of Roshar...
