    I think that should be an element in the plot, but I want this to be mainly about interactions between characters. Which makes the plot mostly unpredictable. But you know all about that, you're a roleplay queen. I love this idea. Go for it.

    Let's see . . . if this is the 2015-2015 school year, it will be 17-18 years afterwards? I think that's right. I think technology + magic could be very plausible.

    I went to IndiaFest the other day. I had a rose flavored ice cream. It was actually really good. It was refreshing to have a new and forein flavor that still tasted somewhat familiar. Plus I could eat their Naan bread and drink their Mango Lassie all day.

    Welcome! Ah, I see you have yet to read The Stormlight Archive. You should read it. Read Warbreaker first, but Stormlight is (in my humble opinion) Brandon's best work. I've practically named myself after one of the characters. And if you were disappointed by Bands, don't read Secret History until you have read all the other Cosmere books.

    I didn't expect this many people! I don't really know yet. At first I was thinking of just general shenanigans at Hogwarts, but it would be better for it to be a little more structured. I'll do some brainstorming on it. It really depends on what it needs to be. It's fine. This will probably end up being slow anyway.

    Twilyght's Fan fiction has gotten the wheels in my brain turning towards Harry Potter again, so I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a Hogwarts RP? I would need 4 or more other people committed in order to make this happen. It would begin when students got their letters and would end at the end of the year, of course. Take place in 2015-2016 school year and only original characters for the students. (Not the teachers) So just sign up below. Character descriptions are not needed yet.

    I shall join. And if one of my characters is a jedi, I get double purple light-sabers. No ifs, ands, or buts. Ooh! Ooh! What if the holograms were better graphics and didn't glitch, and they had actual earpieces to communicate with?

    Names fascinate me. I can spend over an hour just looking through baby name books. Names are an art. First, this is a very specific answer to your question, but one reason none of the Mistborn characters in era 2 could be that it's considered taboo to name their children after the characters of legend. (Like the way it's taboo to name your kid Jesus maybe . . . ?) I'm not sure on that. I also love that he will make his names distinctive from on another. By reading someone's name, you can tell just a little about their culture.

    Um. No, it's Harper. . . . Though ironically, I've never touched a harp in my life. I really want to learn, but the less expensive ones cost about $2,000.

    I think other people have weird hands! Apparently I have long fingers? They look normal t me. Everyone else's fingers are just short. Gloves never fit me.

    So I took the Pottermore sorting quiz. Last time I did it I got Gryffindor, but I was locked out of my account, so I had to take it again. I got Slytherin. I'm not disappointed, I just really wasn't expecting that.

    Heh. The thing is, when I joined I was 13. And I think I was about 11 when I first picked up a copy of Mistborn.

    I . . . that might be something more along the lines of, "You might have an awesome mom if . . ." My mom wouldn't be that thoughtful, she'd just try to kick me in the head while I'm off guard. Consequences of letting your mother take TaeKwonDo.

    I like Meta's plan. And I'mstill trying to figure out how the game works, so it's the only reason I haven't posted before now. Are we allowed to say what team we're on in a roleplay post?

    Twi, mayhaps, you could have Draco read that book formore understanding of American Wizards. He'll think it sounds reasonable, but in a later scene, have him actually ask an american wizard about it and repsonse something like, "Oh, you've read that book? It's garbage. Written by some British Witch who didn't do much research. Here, take this book. It's way better."
