  1. yeah, with that scene I did a double take because I thought I was reading the same line again. And again. And yet again. So I guess I just confused myself.
  2. Ooh! I want to go there! Although I live in the same state as Brandon, so maybe that already counts. I don't know.
  3. That would only be if they were dark brown. Light brown is another matter in and of itself.
  4. When you go around telling everybody that the Jedi are actually just Shardbearers, and the lightsabers are really Shardblades. and I get really weird looks from that, too.
  5. Agreed. Happened to me all the time when I was mowing the lawn. My dad has to wear a face mask every time he attempts it. I have also found that gasoline does something to my joints, so the lawn mower didn't help with that, either. One of the main reasons I don't wish to drive.
  6. Or when you tell her to "read the book!" when she asks what the heck you are talking about. And she still has no idea what you are talking about. This is my case.
  7. When, if you wrinkle your nose, you realize it almost looks like the glyph Kak.
  8. To go with this, I think the entire section had to do with Balat claiming what love is, and Shallan giving a counter-answer to "prove" it wrong. I really liked it.
  9. When you dream that you are Shallan stuck in a Highstorm with Kaladin. He would probably be very grumpy at this point.
  10. Unfortunately, this is the way I think about most people my age; it's like they don't really know how to think straight. I guess I am one of the more calculated people in my grade.
  11. When you wear your Lightweaver pin around and everybody thinks it is something to do with Spiderman. Makes me so mad.
  12. Yes! Hoverboards in 2015 all over again! even though it is 2015 right now, and we don't seem to be making that kind of technological advancement... hmm.
  13. I would imagine that that gets frustrating... on both sides.
  14. That could be a possibility. They seem to bond with just about any spren they can find, as far as I can tell.
  15. Man, I am so glad that school is out. I actually went to a counselor for my anxiety, and was given a list of "symptoms" that are a sign of anxiety... apparently it is pretty severe for me. Almost every single thing on the list could be applied to my life. And, guess what? My English teacher was the cause for a good half of them.
  16. When you pass a tire store called "Larkin Tires" and do a double take. Every time.
  17. wow... that must be really annoying.
  18. well, I am a teen right now, and it is so stressful that I don't think I would want to go back if I had the choice.
  19. It has also been found at the site of just about every school shooting in America. Those with an "addiction" to this substance don't usually live longer than three days without it. I got fooled by this once and I never got over the shame... over half my class really knew what it was, so I was blushing really badly.
  20. Okay, I stand corrected. I knew she turned a goblet into blood, and I knew she was alone on both occasions, I guess it all just blurs together. Thanks!
  21. You know you're a Sanderfan when you actually buy a copy of the Rithmatist at the SLC airport, and when you are really tempted to keep daggers under your pillow because you happen to have some and just about got confronted by a creeper one time recently... and yes, this all really happened.
  22. Just got back a few days ago from a trip to Europe for 9 days, and I have gotten up before three the past two or so days. My dad got really mad at me because he says that it is all my fault that he can't sleep, even though he is a light sleeper and would probably wake up to someone shifting positions in bed. Not cool. Also, while I was in Europe, I got some Brandon Sanderson books, what I thought were the first and second Stormlight books in German, and it ends up being there are FOUR books out because it reached the maximum limit or something. *smack to the face moment* so I had to go on Amazon to buy some copies. Urg.
  23. I had trouble on the 17th Shard earlier today as well. Don't remember what time, but I am on Mountain time. It works fine now.
  24. I had an experience with that in my English class... My teacher was asking around what our favorite vegetables were, and the first thing that popped into my head was "rutabaga." Because of Alcatraz, actually. Everyone thought I was so exotic.
  25. Gasp! that would be awesome! And you also know you're a Sanderfan when you realize that, eventually, you will have to get an entire bookshelf dedicated to his books if you want to get them all.
