It’s in the ebook but also on Brandon’s site here https://brandonsanderson.com/category/annotations/warbreaker-annotations/

It will become even more apparent after you finish part 4 but she says the same color references as Vasher. Also her name is even a color. Her swords descriptions as well.

Official Star Wars Episode VIII Spoiler Topic
StormingTexan replied to Briar King's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Haven’t read all the comments which I will because I’d like to see others thoughts. Ok let me start off by saying I’ve read one stinking Star Wars book so I’m pretty oblivious to the expanded universe. For those that have I have to ask are some of these Jedi powers from those books? I thought it was weird in The Force Awakins that Rey all of the sudden had Jedi powers with no apparent training and could fight with a light saber without training but my thoughts were she was one of Lukes students and that explained her knowledge. Well apparently that was completely wrong. Then in this movie we have brand new physical telepathy and hologram powers.. What have I missed??? Other than that it was an ok movie. I was thinking we’d see some training between Luke and Rey which we kinda did I guess but most of it was just weird like the cave/mirror scene. The endless chase of a cruiser was pretty lame too. We’ve seen small fighters take out the Death Star but apparently tie fighter can’t take out a resistance cruiser so they just chase them until they run out of gas.. The Casio city run by Finn and Rose was just boring and weird. I did like the some of the characters though. I dunno I’d rank it a 5/10. Edit: Dang I forgot the wackiest part! Leia surviving the vacuum of space and floating back to the ship.. -
[OB] Why Shalash Must Die
StormingTexan replied to Lord Mistborn Bondbreaker's topic in Stormlight Archive
Just to clarify Dalinar does NOT see 10 orders represented he only see's 9. Presumably the 10th is Venli that is off scene and represents Willshapers. .- 25 replies

[OB] A new shard mentioned in Oathbringer?
StormingTexan replied to DevanFlaherty's topic in Stormlight Archive
It was just a coincidence I thought was interesting. I am sure it doesn't mean anything. Or does it..Crackpot theory Sazed is expanding his influence throughout the Cosmere "We should all be harmoniously united, I think.".- 31 replies

[OB] A new shard mentioned in Oathbringer?
StormingTexan replied to DevanFlaherty's topic in Stormlight Archive
A shard does not change it's intent upon having a new vessel so if Unity is an intent then it is in fact a melding of shards like Harmony. When this happened I did not really see a melding of shards intents but Dalinar summoning Honor's Perpendicularity. Odium also said "We killed you" and as far as we know Cultivation is still alive so it is not a melding of Honor and Cultivation. Thus I do not think "Unity" is a new shard but I agree the capital U sure does sound important. Maybe not a new shard bit a sliver as others have suggested. I do agree Dalinar is unique in that he pretty clearly has been influenced by all three shards. On a side note I am feeling more and more that "Unite them"means the Heralds especially since we know the back 5 books are focused on the Heralds. It's really just a hunch but something about how we see Taln and Ash and then Jezrien die at the end.- 31 replies

I don't think there will be 2 desolations because this means somehow the Everstorm is stopped. Not saying that is impossible to do but I think the more likely event is Odiums champion is defeated which buys them some time.

[OB] How are the letters delivered?
StormingTexan replied to pi_rho_man's topic in Stormlight Archive
It’s been confirmed it was Ashyn -
This was my favorite part of that WoB. "Be wary of anyone who claims to be able to see the future" I'm on to you Brandon

There is a WoB on this.

[OB] Dalinar should wield Nightblood
StormingTexan replied to Watchcry's topic in Stormlight Archive
I agree and would also add Vasher is kinda an elite Returned as well being one of the 5 scholars. The other thing that muddies the water is if you are looking at this in the current state. How powerful are the Heralds currently with their insanity and the fact we only know of one actually in possession of their honorblade? We know Vasher can awaken on Roshar but we do not know how much breath he currently posses at the end of Warbreaker it wasn't much besides but we know there is a time gap that we do not know what happened. -
I do not think it will too difficult keeping up with everything since the series is complete and you can read it straight through. There are some nuances that you may not pick up on but honestly they are not really that important to the overall story. Fair warning not all of the books are created equal. The middle ones are commonly thought to be a little tough to get through but as a whole the series is really good.

[OB] How are the letters delivered?
StormingTexan replied to pi_rho_man's topic in Stormlight Archive
Oh and how else would you pay them for their services than with investiture knick knacks! Deliver a letter to First of Sun cost = 1 Aviar. Need something to go to Scadrial? That will be two Kandra blessings please! -
[OB] Is Ulim the Spren in Gavilar's Sphere?
StormingTexan replied to Wit Beyond Measure's topic in Stormlight Archive
I like all this. Would be cool if Aesudan is the next books Prologue POV and we see her get the sphere Gavilar gave to Eshonai. -

Apparently it is done by some enterprising individuals. -
+1 on the sexy Pattern fan art if anyone is taking request. Never mind what Sly looks like in this who else knew Kaladin looked like Jesus?! Edit: I feel like the fan art/cosplay in the OP is very nice but it looks like there are trees in the background and I am wondering where I've missed the scene where Syl and Kaladin are in Shinovar.

State of the Sanderson 2017
StormingTexan replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Yeah I know but I have been hoping because of SA that Nightblood will leap frog Elantris. Probably futile but a guy can dream right? Regardless I don't see how he is going to squeeze in either before he starts SA 4 if the 2020 release holds unless Skyward trilogy and W&W 4 go really really fast. -
[OB] Dalinar should wield Nightblood
StormingTexan replied to Watchcry's topic in Stormlight Archive
I wonder how many Fused will be killed once Kaladin teaches Szeth his little ride the storm trick for unlimited investiture before they simply hide during a highstorm. -
Prompted by the movie preview of Annihilation I am reading The Southern Reach trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer. I finished the first book and just started the second. I don't even really know how to describe it besides oddly satisfying without feeling like I really know anything about what is going on. It's weird but I like it so far.

State of the Sanderson 2017
StormingTexan replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I know I am extremely sad about this and I see no near future (in the next 5 years) that we will see this. I keep thinking because of Stormlight he will bless us with this book but I feel like other things will always be in the way. -
State of the Sanderson 2017
StormingTexan replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Ah ok well that may help The preview chapter felt a little weird to me. Yeah I think he will want to finish up W&W first which I hope he does. That era is at a pretty exciting point and I think the conclusion will have some pretty big Cosmere ramifications that will push along the overall Cosmere plot nicely. You do raise a good point though this puts Elantris and Warbreaker sequels really far out after SA4. -
State of the Sanderson 2017
StormingTexan replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Looks like 2018 will be a bleak year for the Cosmere. I'd be lying if I didn't say I am disappointed I was really hoping for the last Wax and Wayne book around this time next year. That said I understand Brandon needs to do what he does so I will happily stand by. I've listened to the preview of Skyward and having a little bit of a hard time thinking I will be interested in a story with a 5 year old protagonist but who knows I didn't think I would like Reckoners either. Legion.. Man I have tried that book 3 times now and just cant get in to it. It's odd because I like the premise but I have a severe block on those books. -
[OB] Inconsistency in WoB about First of the Sun
StormingTexan replied to DJScrub's question in Cosmere Q&A
There is a certain epigraph in OB that sheds some light on this if you read between the lines. OB SPOILERS!
