And if they were killed with the goal of getting revenge on his brother, then why were their deaths necessary towards that? What is his plan to kill his brother?

And I will echo Voidus' concerns about another necromancer- as cool as undead and liches are. I also think that since you are so new Chasm, it is better to focus on the Epic you currently have and integrate them into the story, before worrying about introducing new Epics.

Also, your character would be abloe to turn things permanently to gold, which is canon a power that doesn't exist. (solved by simply preventing him from turning things to gold or a class of elements that includes gold) (ironically and hilariously! ) "so you are an alchemist, huh?" "Indeed I am!" "turn this steel pipe into gold, please!" "Uh.... I can't. >.< " hahaha As Voidus said, getting into sub-atomic stuff is.... tricky, to say the least I like the general concept though, we just need to work on some limitations. How about he can simply change the materials of an object from one to another, by touching it, and alter the shape of the material as long as he is touching it, providing that it isn't living or organic? And the change spreads relatively quickly from his points of contact, until it changes the entire object. But the changes reverts back in an hour or so, perhaps? EDIT: That sounds awesome Cogni! Thanks for that

[Calamity Spoilers] Calamity's Consequences

"OK so everyone else is doing 1/10'000.... but that is boring! My world will be a unique experiment! How about.... 1/1000, and lots more useless and weird powers! and teleporters, and HIGH EPICS! haha! Humanity will surely misuse them in exciting and interesting ways!"- 210 replies

[Calamity Spoilers] Calamity's Consequences
Blackhoof replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Reckoners RPG
And this means that our Calamity can be whoever we like too, as Larcener implied that each dimension is visited by one of his race, not one version of him. So our Calamity just also decided that humanity is worthless and destructive.- 210 replies

I think what Nashan is potentially getting at isn't that his Epic literally quantum entangles the particles, but that his Epic has a power that does what it does, and the idea behind it is inspired by quantum entanglement.

[Calamity Spoilers] Calamity's Consequences
Blackhoof replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Reckoners RPG
The nightmares themselves could be theoretically vague. If the event is dreamt about more than the specific weakness, that is. You know, I'm curious what happened to Loophole to make her weakness sneezing of all things.- 210 replies

Sounds good Silver. Just post her death and reincarnation or something. nah it looks human in death. The servant just happened to look like Slaughterine which gave him the idea. Being vain, many of her servants at least vaguely resemble her.

Iconoclast hummed quietly to himself as he stabbed clawed fingertips into his arm, drawing out copious amounts of blood. As he moved his hand to the wall, his fingertips morphed, becoming rounded once more, much more effective for the job he was using them for now. Writing. In broad, messy strokes, he drew his own blood over and over, healing in seconds, but his blood remaining, until his scarlet message was displayed prominently on the wall, facing the front door. ICONOCLAST SAYS HELLO He nodded in satisfaction, and licked the leftover blood off of his finger. Behind him, Slaughterine stood, an expression of disgust on her face. "Was that... really necessary? I mean.... I just had this wall painted...." Iconoclast grinned at her. "My dear, of course it was necessary. This lets Rainmaker and Buttercup know my name. And I cannot bear to contend with someone who does not know my name. Who can imagine what they might be calling me? Do you think I have a codename? Or am I just "that Epic" to them? Well.... now they know." Slaughterine did not look convinced, but she nodded all the same. "I... see. Can we go now? Surely the security forces have caught one of the humans by now, they will be coming here shortly." Iconoclast shook his head. "No, no, not juuuuust yet. There is one more thing we need to do." The elegant woman sighed and followed him and he briskly walked into the lounge-room. Staked to the wall through the leg on the opposite side was a ravening ghoul, who had recently been one of Slaughterine's favourite slaves. She frowned as Iconoclast approached the ghoul. "You owe me more servants. Pretty ones." Iconoclast stopped by the ghoul, and tsked. "No my lady, you have it all wrong! When we are done, you will be taking your own servants. They are not mine to gift.... but yours to take." Slaughterine appreciated this, as Iconoclast reached out and casually broke the ghoul's neck. Her brow furrowed, "what was that for?" "She needs to be dead, for my trick to work". "What trick? You are being annoying." "This trick, my friend. Get one of your dresses." Slaughterine rolled her eyes and scurried away. She returned quickly with a beautiful gown, embroidered and sequinned. Iconoclast nodded, and ripped the stake out of the ghoul, dropping it to the ground. "Now, dress up this ghoul. We are going to fake your death." Slaughterine looked quizzical. "Will that work?" "Most likely." She shrugged and obeyed. When she was finished, Iconoclast knelt down, and began ripping into the ghoul, disfiguring its face and covering it in blood. With her hair and rough facial features similar to Slaughterine, it was a convincing trick. "And now my friend, let us go." Slaughterine nodded, and eagerly followed her ally out into the Corvallis streets.

Geelong, 13 months ago Warplock surveyed her surroundings as she walked calmly down the street. A year of Epic chaos had not been kind to the city of Geelong. It showed- buildings abandoned, their inhabitants dead or gone. Houses with holes in the walls, massive cracks or otherwise degraded. Buildings, power poles and signs ruined, knocked over entirely or damaged beyond repair. Lawns and streets were strewn with wreckage- some of it of a decidedly human origin. Around her, the ground was pockmarked with car-sized craters, the debris of some energy Epic's brutality. Several houses shared those pockmarks- and others had entire façades destroyed. Warplock tsked. This would not do. Destruction in her new city would be caused by her and her alone. She continued walking, and eventually she saw someone peeking out from an empty windowframe- clearly much slower than the others she had certainly passed. With a wave of her hand, she gripped them with her telekinesis, raising them into the air. He struggled, terror in his face, as he lifted him through the window and levitated him towards her. "Tell me, little human, where can I find the leader of this city?" The young man struggled. She sighed, and dropped him to the ground. "I won't ask a third time, you little-" He looked up, hands clasping for mercy. "N-n-no-one rules this city, ma'am! J-just a bunch of Epics, fighting for territory." She nodded- she had heard as much. It made the job of taking the city for herself more difficult... but given her defensive powers, only marginally so. "Tell me human- what are the major Epics and their factions that you know of?" The human gulped, mind clearly whirring. "Well, uh, there are a heap! Uh, Warbreaker and Ceasefire, I think, rule Waurn Ponds. Meltbeam and Dragon rule Belmont, uh, the CBD has like four Epics and their gangs hanging about, but they have a truce. And you're in North Geelong, uh, Sparkshow's gang is in charge here. And, some other Epics I don't know are fighting over the eastern suburbs, I don't ask any questions. Please, that is all I know, please...." Warplock smiled. "You may go. Tell others that I am generous to those who help me." Them an, grateful, fled. "And now.... time to find this 'Sparkshow' and tell him about the beginning of my reign."

Corvallis is a good fit power-level-wise. Could also do Salem, if you liked the idea of getting some more plot going there. Which of those would you like better? A city beginning to crumble, or a city focused around arena battles with an unknown plot as of yet?

I'm not sure it would work that way Because both of them are also losing momentum at the same time- in fact at a greater rate. Say you throw one rock- its speed and momentum will decrease gradually until it falls and hits the ground. Now you throw another- the same will happen. Now, in your head, construct a graph where all the gains/losses in momentum that happen to one translate to the other, and then back again. You find that they both actually just fall normally. Because they are both losing momentum, not gaining it, so the "what happens to one happens to the other" just results in nothing changing. NOW, if you attached a rocket to one of them.... that's different.
