Perhaps. In his mind, he needs to destroy humanity to save it- thus he is using and claiming his powers as his own while "saving" someone, curing the darkness. Your theory would indeed fit with that.

I was fully expecting DL and Calamity to be linked somehow, but other than headcanon and speculation they aren't Hopefully we can get a WOB about it at some stage that answers the question

What happened with Dawnslight? Like, the last we see of him he was with Regalia when David kills her, and then David runs from Prof. So... did Prof kill him? Is he stil there, feeding and protecting Babilar? And moreso, how do we explain him? he appeared at the same time Calamity did, but Calamity doesn't reveal anything about him that we didn't already know. Was he a member of Larcener's race too? I am confused at this lack of info ._.

Corpsemaker nodded as a captain gave his report. He looked over his assembled mechs, from the roof of the armoury, at dozens of robots, piloted either by advanced AI or a toy soldier. They were all different shapes and sizes- some barely more than exoskeletons, most as tall as buildings or even taller. Rockets glinted in the daylight, shining gun barrels were raised high in salute, and newly affixed megaphones betrayed the purpose of their mission. "And so my lord, we are ready to march at your command." The captain finished, saluting. Corpsemaker smiled. Everything was beginning to coalesce. Quota had begun projecting awe and fear into the hearts and minds of most Portlanders. His convoy was assembled, waiting for him to take the lead. His Epics were spread out, recruiting or threatening more support for his growing army. Nothing was going to stop him. "Excellent work, commander." Corpsemaker raised his voice. "My messengers! Move out!" At his word, the scores of assembled mechs began moving in unison, and the ground trembled as they, in twos and threes, exited the main gate. And began to broadcast his message across Portland.

Yeah, part of the plot was to trick Obliteration into thinking that she only wanted a bomb.- 210 replies

A vapid, vain Epic that Comatose introduced in one of the Skinsaver posts mentioned that he had a party friend named Slaughterine. After Iconoclast recruited that nameless lady Epic, Coma suggested that that could be her in order to establish better character interconnectedness and such.

haha well she isn't named yet but she is the one he recruited, yeah I couldn't pass up the chance to build connections, character connections are what make things feel real! @Weird: I believe that permission was given for Drainer to have whatever you thought would be worth stealing

[Calamity Spoilers] Calamity's Consequences
Blackhoof replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Reckoners RPG
It seems like that is the only option. Maybe changing their backstory/weakness is necessary too. After all, it is better to retcon stuff like that then actual canon posts.- 210 replies

[Calamity Spoilers] Calamity's Consequences
Blackhoof replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Reckoners RPG
Well I think David said that all assumers but Larcener were temporary thefts, and he turned out to be calamity. It isn't like many Epics can theoretically kill or disable almost any other Epic in this RP, after all. You'd just need to be careful of them- 210 replies

Funny thing about multiple PIs is that PIs usually are mutually exclusive. Like what's the point of having regeneration, intangibility AND invulnerability? Everything will pass through you or not hurt you anyway

“I’m sorry for the trouble.” The young boy said. “I’ll be out of your hair shortly if you’ll allow me to finish my work.” Art that moment, the large man leaped out of the water but was immediately knocked back down. Winterspell was still for a moment, wondering if the Epic was working his emotional manipulation on him. But still.... he would certainly act this way in any other situation. Winterspell nodded. "Very well. I value respect, and that is what you have shown me. You may proceed. Say.... would you be interested in employment, young man? You will find that I am a generous and magnanimous patron, for those who serve me well. And your powers certainly seem useful. What say you?"

The Trio of terror are working in a collab to hunt down Neverthere. Quota has been ordered to blanket the city in fear, but that can happen off-screen. Same with the rest if the Dominion preparations for now.
