  1. I'm back! The only way both Jerle and I are both telling the truth is if Jerle was feeling confident enough to kill stink on the first cycle, but not confident enough to try killing anyone on future cycles. The way I see it, I've been trying to prove my point, while he's been relying on his friends to support him. And that would make me suspicious of him in any circumstance. Last cycle, someone called me out because I revealed in thread, and he never trusts people who try to make it democratic like that. Have I once asked for options on who to kill? Have I accepted any? Revealing myself in thread was a mistake, because I thought my kill had gone through. I assure you, I have no intentions of making my kill democratic. In conclusion, I'm voting on Jerle. I'm short on time now, but I will be looking back at previous cycles for my other suspicions.
  2. Unfortunately, I will likely be inactive all day tomorrow, so I'm voting on Jerle now, because he was lying about being a shadowbinder (assuming I am telling the truth) and because my kill on him didn't go through. I think it's likely that he's a eliminator builder who blocked himself in last cycle.
  3. Does it? Read the rules: "Shadowbinder: Every cycle you cast a vote for a player to the Pyre and they die, you can bring your shadow to life and kill another player of your choosing." "[4] Mark IV: JerleShannara, ThatTinyStrawMan, Mailliw73, Paranoid King" "[4] Mailliw73: Sart, Paranoid King, Curious Anamaximder, ThatTinyStrawMan" "Stick (TinyStrawMan) was killed by the Turncloaks!" Either that other shadowbinder of yours hasn't made a single kill or they're lying. edit: Oh yeah, he didn't show up on the write-up. Darn. I revealed myself prematurely there. I aimed to kill Anamaximder.
  4. The eliminators have more people on their team, so more people are likely to have read the rules on the shadowbinder. So I may as well put it out here now and make it public info: I am the shadowbinder. Shocking. Need proof? In order to make the shadowbinder kill, the shadowbinder needs to lynch someone. Other than strawman, I am the only person who has participated in both lynches. And strawman is dead. So I need to pick a target to kill based on who has been voted for. As I said at the beginning of the game, I'm changing my strategy because my normal, "they sound suspicious, lynch them" strategy didn't work very well. The strategy I'm using now to determine who is good and who isn't is based on general movements in the lynch. I need to be part of the lynch, and I need to gather info on how the lynch moves, so that's likely why my voting patterns are off.
  5. Ooh, Stink was an eliminator. On that note, based on Stink being a stoneman, I find it suspicious that Mailliw used that to try and condemn strawman. However, given that Mailliw will likely die next cycle anyways, due to being giant-blooded, I'm going to vote on Lopen. He seems to have also been condemning strawman for little reason. Him, Sart, and Mailliw are my top 3 2 suspicions right now.
  6. Actually, I ensured a lynch because that's what I usually do. Think about it. If I and Strawman were both eliminators, why would he draw a connection between the two of us by asking me to ensure the lynch in-thread rather than in the eliminator doc? I agree that one or the other of us might be an eliminator, but it just doesn't make sense for both of us to be eliminators.
  7. My standard strategy is to lynch someone C1. This game, I did that because that's what I normally do, and then I started thinking about how the eliminators would act. I don't think either Mark or Kipper are guilty. And I'm not advocating to raise Mark, I'm just pointing out that he's a valid option, as he seemed to be excluded from Alvron's list. I'm trying to go about this game differently, because normally I'm very inaccurate in my predictions. Yeah, I'm a bit suspicious of Mailliw, too. Let's see how this plays out.
  8. I actually think all three are safe to bring back. On the first cycle, the villagers are clueless and the eliminators are subtly directing them. The eliminators aren't going to want to lynch one of their own, (because villagers wouldn't consider bringing them back,) although they might try a dead gazelle gambit with their eliminator kill. So I would say Mark is as safe or safer to bring back than the other two. So choose the person who's most active in the thread to return to the land of the living.
  9. The eliminator kill takes an action, right? So if we all send PM's to one person (say, Kipper, because he likes PMs,) the eliminators are faced with the choice of revealing themselves by not sending a PM, or not making the eliminator kill. We would get info from the lynch without being whittled down by the faceless and the eliminators.
  10. ...He's a high epic? Are only high epics allowed in Corvallis?
  11. ...Are you thinking of Murphy, from Portland? I don't know who else you'd be talking about.
  12. I edited my above post to show what I want him to have. Yes, he now has a one-minute cooldown. Yeah, Iconoclast can build a bloodthirsty army of ghouls that he can mind-control to do his bidding. He also has a prime invincibility and disguise abilities. Cannon fodder can copy people with weapons, sure, but those people will literally disintegrate from a deep papercut and can only be issued limited instructions when they're first made. I want to give him enough minions to work with.
  13. I hadn't thought about it that way. I could probably lower the minion count to 40, as he could still set up elaborate traps, he'd just be more exposed. On that note, I also feel like 10 henchmen is too many, and I'm lowering the number to 5.Edit: on second thought, I'd prefer that the minions take a full minute to make, but there can be 75 of them. I can do a lot of fun stuff with them, and they're really much easier to defeat than you make it sound. (Being pricked with a pin will kill one.)
  14. Here's cannon fodder's updated info:
